Postal Services in Sierra Madre, Los Angeles, California...We had just finished breakfast nearby when I asked my friend, Hannah, if there was a post office nearby. She pointed and said that there was one right around the corner! Yay!Sierra Madre's post office is cozy, calm, and mellow. I felt like I was in a safe, small, quaint country town. I parked in the back of the building and walked in the building from the side door.Other people parked in the front, on the street, and walked in the front door.It wasn't crowded, so, I walked right up to the letter slot, tossed my postcard in, and left.Easy as pie!

This is about my experience with the lead clerk Liz.I came here to get my passport renewed and get a passport photo taken. I am bald and I shave my head. The lead clerk Liz took the photo and it had a lot of glare, and the top third of my head was all white and overexposed. I told her about it but she dismissed me. She was really rude and I was unhappy. I paid money to have the photo taken professionally so that it would be done correctly, but this was not the case here. When I left she actually reminded me to use the receipt to leave her a review with the USPS (believe me, I did).On my drive home I tried to tell myself not to worry about it, thinking that Liz must know what she is doing since this is her job. However, when I got home I read on the internet that the photo could be rejected because of the glare and overexposure, and I didn't want to have to wait three months to find out and then have to apply again, and then wait another three months to get my passport, as well as potentially having to pay more fees. So I drove another half an hour back to the post office. I saw Liz again and she was irritated that I wanted another photo. She said in a sarcastic way that there was nothing she could do about my shiny head, and said I should have wiped it down before I came. I told her I am a photographer and she just had to dim the lights. She gave me a paper towel to wipe my head but she refused to dim the lights, and said she was not a photographer (then why was she doing it and why did I have to pay for her service?), and took another photo under the exact same lighting. Now instead of a third, a quarter of my head was missing. On my way driving back, I already knew I wasn't going to get anywhere because of Liz's attitude. She was rude and uncooperative and continued to be that way the second time. I was already planning to ask for a supervisor. Instead of remorse about having me drive back and forth to get things done correctly, Liz actually became even more rude and hostile.Fortunately, the postmaster was in her office next door, so I asked to speak to her. The postmaster was very nice, and she did say that many passport photos were getting rejected (!!!). She said turning off the lights would fix the problem. She then turned off the lights and took the photo, and it was perfect.I am so grateful to the postmaster, but this process shouldn't have had so much friction, especially when there is a history of passport photos taken here being rejected. I shouldn't have had to argue with Liz to just turn off the lights. It only took 3 additional minutes to take and print a second photo. If the photo were rejected it could have cost me months of waiting, but she just didn't care.If you are looking to renew your passport, I recommend getting your photo taken somewhere else, or be prepared to either ask for someone else to help you or go multiple rounds with Liz about doing something right that should have only taken 3 additional minutes. I feel bad for all the other people whose passport photos were rejected.

The manager of this branch needs to GO !! They are short staff and still accepting passport processing, and only one person was handling the case !!! I made an appoint between 12:15-30, and I got there late at 12:20 cuz I am taking a newborn with me, and we were there until 1:30!! 1 hour !! What's point of making an appointment if u don't process or unable to process appointments !! My newborn was crying her heart out while waiting for someone that take photos back from lunch break, don't do passport here , they can't handle !!!

We drove from Palmdale to this post office due to the ones closer to us not having passport appointments. Leslie is who helped us and she was amazing! We were getting a passport for my 10 month old and she interacted with him so well, when she didn't even have to! We had his picture taken too and she made sure to take a few so we would get a good one. We decided to also mail out my husbands passport for renewal and she helped us with the process as well. Our appointment was at 9:45 AM and we were out of there by 10:10! Her customer service was wonderful!! I would drive an hour again any day for customer service like this!! Thank you Leslie!

Needed my passport renewed. They have the resources and the staff is helpful. I had my picture taken at a professional studio which I would recommend. Ample parking space.

Had to return some Amazon packages at UPS, I didn't realize I needed to print out the labels before coming in. As one of the clerks was about to turn me away, Jeffrey another clerk working here stepped in and helped. He was able to help me print out my labels and took care of everything with a smile Thank you Jeffrey your customer service today was amazing!!!!

Horrible business practices and employees. I'm writing this review from this UPS center. I've been waiting 2.5 hrs on Christmas eve for a package that UPS messed up. UPS was supposed to call me with an update about an overnight Christmas gift delivery. Starting from 11am, I called every hour because I never received a call. Around 5pm, I received a call saying that my package was at the 1100 Baldwin Park center. I arrived at the center to find the lobby open but no employees present. I waited 45 minutes at the front desk, no employees showed up. Finally an employee showed up. I gave him my tracking info, he looked it up and said "the package never arrived to our facility". I asked him to locate the package. He said, "that's not my job. You need to call the customer service number". He told me to call the UPS customer service center to find out the location. I called the number and waited 30 minutes. I was routed to a customer service line in Asia. I spoke to the manager and explained that this is the 12th time since this morning and I explained what happened at the Access Center. The UPS customer service manager said, "We dont deal with problems in Los Angeles because we are located in Asia. Bye." I'm writing this review from the 1100 Baldwin location on Christmas Eve for over 2.5 hrs. I'm still waiting for an update. There's no guarantee that the package will be arriving tonight. I paid extra for an overnight gift for Christmas and I now have no gift because of UPS. I wish there was a negative Star because that's what UPS and this center deserves. Dont use UPS. Esp dont use this access center.

Terrible Customer Service, Michelle dispatched claim she was supervisor but did nothing to help relocate my package. She was rude and helpless, she stated that the driver is one of the meanest driver and would not give me my package if I asked him too. What kind of supervisor is she. This is not how your supposed to put out business especially coming from a UPS company. It's best Ups put someone on the phone that will actually do their jobs rather than lie and be hopeless. Anna Maria never contacted me back which is the higher up manager which Michelle stated. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'll stick with amazon prime before anything.

Piece of garbage, worse than USPS and FedEx. If you can avoid using USP do it. Make sure you check who is delivering your online order. I ordered a stroller last week with delivery date of 12/3. Then I get a notification of delay and they'll deliver next day. Mind you I checked the tracking # and it was already at the Baldwin Park facility. It was raining so fair enough but Thursday it wasn't even raining and I got another notification of delay again this time to be delivered on Friday 12/6. Guess what?yep, yet again. They have had my stroller now for 3 days at this facility. To make matters worse I've been on hold to speak to a supervisor for an hour and 45 min. I'm super pissed. This was a baby shower gift for yep 12/7. Now they won't deliver till next business day 12/9 & all Amazon can do is send a replacement that may or may not get here by 12/8 not to mention they can't guarantee that UPS won't deliver. I am beyond pissed and you can believe UPS will be hearing from me and Amazon as well if I don't get that stroller by Monday. Don't bother calling they could give zero effs about you and your delivery. How they manage to still operate is beyond me. They ruined my gift to give to my brother and his fiance and now I have find something else. Everywhere I looked had the stroller but wouldn't get it till the 11th. If you've had a bad experience file a complain on these #%÷#^$.

LAZY TRASH FACILITY!!!!!!!!!!! Never deliver 1 single item for me. Every time would be "delivery attempt failed" when they did not even try to deliver. Can UPS do something about these lazy workers there? If you have a choice to choose the shipping carrier when shopping online AVOID UPS that will go to this BALDWIN PARK ONE!

Their drivers are d*** as f**** Long story here, it all started last Friday. My package was supposed to arrive last Friday, I was home all day, no one rang the door bell or anything but my package wasn't delivered. I was slightly annoyed at this point, but I called UPS and they told me that they will attempt another delivery on MONDAY. I said okay, and I said to tel the driver to call me if he has any trouble in Monday (something their previous drivers have done before). The representative said okay, and that he's made note of it. Saturday rolls around and I saw that it no longer says they'll redeliver in Monday, it now says that I have to go pick it up at an access point. I'm like ugh, okay, so I call UPS, and they tell me that i will have to pay $5 to have it delivered to my house again (uhh wtf?), then the representative continued to tell me that my package is at the access point NOW. I said "but I'm tracking my package and it says it's not at the access point yet", and he replied with "I have access to information you don't. It shows here that it is at the access point now." I asked him for the address, he kept repeating the name of the place instead (dumbass). Finally he understood me and gave me the address. He even went on to say "go before 12, they close early today". So I called my husband, asked him to hurry home to watch my kids while I run to pick it up since it's under my name. So I rush there just to be told that the package indeed HAS NOT ARRIVED. The lady at the access point location told me "all those UPS workers are really stupid" 100% agreed. I called again after i got home, they told me they will redeliver it to my house on Monday. I called Monday morning to tell them to notify the driver that if he run into any other problems, to just have them call me because I really need my damn package. They told me they can't tell the driver to call me although drivers have called me in the past. They did assure me that the driver would be delivering my package today though so I'm like fine. But guess what? package NOT RECEIVED. What excuse did the driver come up with this time? "The apartment number is missing" ARE YOU F****** SERIOUS? This is NOT the first time a driver has used that as an excuse. I've received emails from UP MYCHOICE notifying that I'll be receiving a package and it clearly states my entire address there INCLUDING MY APT #. AND!! I've read my address to the representatives during the last 4 phone calls I've made! The last time this EXACT scenario went down. It was also attempt 1: customer not home. Attempt 2: no apt number. Then finally delivered on the 3rd attempt. When I received that package, it CLEARLY STATED MY APT NUMBER ON THE LABEL. So either the driver is d*** as hell, or they're just lazy as f**** Because I've been waiting all damn day, I didn't even see the UPS truck. I also have cameras installed, and my apartment complex has cameras installed all over, I'm sure we can see if the driver even ATTEMPTED to deliver my packages at all. I bet this driver is the same driver as the one last time. Using the same damn excuses, and pulling the same tricks. I hope UPS goes out of business, or hire better drivers. I'm so pissed off. And also, this Baldwin park office doesn't pick up their phone no matter how many times you call and how long you let it ring. Just shows you what kind of employees they have. 100% incompetent. If you hate your job so much, then go get another job. Go back to school, or go work at McDonald's instead. you have to actually DO YOUR DAMN JOB. UPDATE: I finally received my package today, Tuesday, their 3rd "attempt". I checked the package, there are THREE labels on there which all clearly states my apt #.

Pretty terrible customer service, they loaded on the wrong truck a 2 day AM delivery package, that was one of three, the other 2 got delivered Fri. morning, but no luck getting them to redeliver the other on Sat. They said it was buried in a container, all the trucks were already out, blah, blah, blah. It was going to a Land Of The Free Foundation event, only 15 minutes away from the UPS center, talk about a bunch of bs! It wasn't going to actually get delivered until after the event was over! Sorry Vets.

Worst experience ever, I was suppose to recieve the package on Friday November the first, the truck came and the delivery lady said that she was supposed to have my package but she didn't. She said how UPS was hiring newbies to installing package so maybe they put it into the wrong truck. However I see no updates saying how the package goes back to baldwin park(usually there's a arrival destination scan if they didn't Delivers the package). So I believe it might be lost. Then I requested my package to be held at ups access point on November the second. I see no more update about this package anymore and I contacted UPS. The things is, is an Apple product so they tell me it's not their responsibility and I should contact Apple about it. Until today, I still see no updates about the package and it must be lost. I contacted UPS about it, their attitude were badddddd, I got transferred to an international agent because apple sent these from China and he told me that it might be lost during transit and I should contact apple about it. And I have to wait another 2 days for them to investigate on it. IM SO SICK OF THIS. Worst mailing company ever.
