Even though i have purchased day passes and enjoyed working out there, last week I noticed that my credit card was over it's credit limit, after investigating I found out that Sierra Fitness charged me thousands of dollars on my credit card. I called and had to play the telephone tango until a manager called me back, when I explained the situation she told me that I had bought a trainer class package worth thousands of dollars for a person I don't know. I corrected her and explained that I didn't know this person, she said that she would credit my account back.Days later my account is still overdrawn, on the card I used for Christmas Shopping (for airline miles).Apparently according to the bank, I will have to wait several days for the credit to go through, meanwhile my statement was filed and it has impacted my credit.Beware, They don't seem trustworthy with member credit card information. Nobody from management has contacted me to explain how a random person could charge thousands of dollars to another members account without checking first.

I just completed my third private training session with Gabby and I couldn't be happier with my experience. I've been sitting on the sofa for far too long and it's time to get active again. Gabby has a background in nursing and physical therapy and knows exactly how to lead me through an hour-long session that leaves me feeling energized, not sore and damaged. She will continue to help me with one-on-one, assisted-stretching sessions while I enjoy Pilates, core fitness, and yoga classes to build my strength and improve my flexibility. Sierra Fitness has that charming Sierra Madre vibe and I'm looking forward to more gym time. Now that I'm back to my college weight, Sierra Fitness will help me recover a sculpted midsection and perky bum!

Registering for class via mind-body is straightforward and the gym has indoor and outdoor options with good ventilation and heating for the xold.months.

The gym currently only allows vaccinated members to attend the facility. I find this to be full on segregation. #1 I am unvaccinated, I have had Covid, and I have recovered. I now carry the natural antibodies so, I can either transmit it or be a receiver of the virus. #2. If they believe their vaccine works.. then what's the point of excluding those who are unvaccinated? It's a proven FACT those who are vaccinated have been shown to be able to both transmit and become ill with the virus regardless of their "vaccination" S#3 So, since The vaccinated community can both transmit the virus to each other what does it matter if they were to contract it from a vaccinated person or an unvaccinated person, and if an unvaccinated person is willing to except the risk of being unvaccinated shouldn't they have a right to do? #4 It's as if this establishment has just decided to be biased towards people having a right to decide what they want to do with their bodies, so, if you don't comply with their narrative or agenda you're excluded. This looks an awful lot like prejudice and bullying to me. #5 I will conclude with one file statement.. you claim to be a fitness center, under that heading alone I should think your approach to life and health, and wellness Would be one more holistic. Poor form .

After running 6+ miles daily outdoors for 18 months during the pandemic I came to Sandy with a torn IT band, tight hips and lower back issues. I hadn't slept comfortably in months. At my doctors recommendation (post MRI), I sought out pilates classes to compliment my rehab. I have been taking Sandy's Pro Pilates classes 4 days a week and Classic Pilates 1-2 days a week. Both pilates classes use reformers (not mat classes). I love the Pro Pilates. It's a killer low impact workout that does not strain my back or stress my body in a harmful manner. Because of Pro, I will never go back to a bootcamp again. The Pro Pilates should actually be called "The Waist Cincher." The Classic classes stretch and align- but don't be fooled- they are tough! After 6 months of sticking to Sierra Fitness Pilates classes I am back to running 6 miles every other day and running long distances on weekends- pain free and my pace is slowly creeping back up to my top conditioning times. I am sleeping better and no longer have hip pain and only mild back discomfort (due to normal wear and tear). Physically, my body is stronger and toned. Fitness has been Sandy's craft for a long time and she knows what she is doing. She and her staff have handled my rehab with care all while still challenging me to improve my balance, fitness and flexibility. Final great thing...many Pilates classes in Monrovia and Pasadena begin classes after 8am. That just doesn't work and is so out of touch. Pro Pilates classes begin daily at 5:30 am. This works for me as I am a working mom that needs to get in my daily workout regiment before my household wakes up, take my child to school and go to a physical office.

Very disappointed how they treat their patrons. I was hoping to join, but they sure know how to lose customers.

Business denies entry to anyone unvaccinated. This is un-American and discriminatory.

Sierra Fitness is simply not just a health and fitness space. It encompasses all that is truly revolved around the concept of sound mind and body. It is an amazing community of loving and supportive people that truly care about one another and the greater good. Sierra Fitness came into my life at a time when I really needed it more than ever. I never envisioned that it would have become such an integral part of my life as it has and continues to be. When you come to this space, you will find an incredibly talented group of individuals that are rooted in the community and truly care about doing the right thing. It isn't just a catch phrase with them. They truly walk their talk. The environment is boutique and individualized unlike big box gyms. They were the first gym in Southern California to roll out the outdoor gym concept during the pandemic. The gym thrives to stay ahead of the curve from an innovation standpoint. One key example with respect to Sierra Fit's continuous pledge to the safety and well being of the community and it's members revolves around their recent decision to only allow vaccinated members. This initiative epitomizes their deeply rooted tenure in the community and clearly demonstrates their commitment to safety and longevity. As a side note, they also offer amazing online fitness options themed around different hotspot destinations from around the world for those who desire a home based workout or to serve as an alternative to those who may choose not to get vaccinated. So any claims that this decision was discriminatory or prejudiced in any way is simply and unequivocally false. In summary, I would highly recommend Sierra Fitness to anyone looking to enrich their life as I know it has greatly enriched mine and the dear friends and family that surround me every time I come.

I have belonged to Sierra Fitness since it has been open. I credit the gym for getting me through some tough times physically with the amazing trainers she has there , starting from the top which is Sandy Duvall. I've watched it grow exponentially since we started in one storefront. Through her hard work and professional staff, it went upstairs in addition to the downstairs. It has always been a great workout for me. The clientele is varied with Sandy making sure the older clients were taken care of with the limitations some had. She then added a Pilates facility and was one of the first to have state of the art machines that work out every muscle of the body, creating a long, lithe physique. I only had to discontinue because of a logistical move, but kept myself in tip top shape through lockdown with her online classes. I cannot say enough , truly. This gym is a lifeline for so many. I am grateful for this particular gym more than so many I have tried. I am a 62 yr old woman and because of this gym, I get mistaken truly for much much younger. Can't beat that. Thanks Sandy Duvall, for what you have done for many. 5 stars..

Clean.Open.Safe Found this place during pandemic and so Happy to be supporting local. There is plenty of equipment, machines, and weights to get a great workout in 30-60 mins. No need to wait around to use a machine or equipment. There are sanitation stations everywhere and schedule cleaning through the day. Front office staff Blanca is friendly and professional.
