“We love Bethany! This is our 3rd year at Bethany Christian and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. My kids THRIVE here. The teachers and staff go above and beyond and Jesus literally shines through each and every one of them. My older son's reading level is many grades ahead, all thanks to his teachers and the curriculum. They offer music, art, P.E., Spanish and a wonderful STEAM program. They also have after-school athletics for the higher grades. It's in the heart of Sierra Madre, walking distance to so many cute food places for early release or after drop-off.”

“There is not enough space for me to write all the wonderful things I want to say. Both of my kids attended Creative. The entire staff is absolutely stellar. The director/teacher Ms. Denise is truly amazing and became someone my daughter admired and just loves so much. Even Ms. Sharon, Ms. Susan, Mr. Viet, Ms. Annie, Ms. Jackie, Ms. Vanessa and their chef Ms. Rosie are all absolutely wonderful. My daughter learned so much from every single one of them and every day she was always having fun while learning. They are always in constant communication with you and providing photos and daily updates so you feel confident your child is in a safe and happy environment. They teach your kids a wide variety of subjects from science, math, sight words, writing, singing/dancing, art, crafts, games and even cooking ...all in such a manner the kids enjoy doing it and there is no stress but instead they actually want to participate!! It's so amazing. The school always hosts family fun events for you to come see your child's progress in school. Summer time is so fun too as they have pony rides and magic shows and splash days etc! Also, the food they cook is so good my daughter always tells me she prefers Ms Rosie's food. LOL! My daughter was always so excited to wake up and go to school, and would come home talking about her day. We are so sad my youngest has just graduated from Creative, but are happy with how much progress she has made and know that she will do well in life because of them! We can't thank the staff enough for all they have taught our children and for all of the wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. Our family really misses the school already. Creative has really set the bar so high that I honestly don't think I will ever be pleased with any other school/staff!!”

“Two of my kids came to this preschool prior to pandemic and after everything opened up again. This school has been very cautious with masking and keeping everything sanitized which is so important when it comes to small children. My kids love all the teachers here because they are very attentive and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do. The playground area is shaded and is big and spacious. The added bonus is that they also help with potty training.”

“Our family loves Oasis because of the small class sizes and nurturing environment! I wanted my kids to learn Mandarin but when I researched local schools with language programs, the class sizes were too large for my liking. I want my kids to learn Mandarin but not at the expense of being in a school where they might not get enough care and attention from their teachers, where they are lost in the crowd or slip through the cracks. The class sizes at Oasis are mostly around 10 students (or less), which is less than most private schools and about half the size of public school classes for the lower elementary grades and less than half of the size of public school classes for middle to higher elementary grades. This makes a huge difference in how kids learn, how kids feel about school, how well their teachers know them and how they develop socially and emotionally in these critical years.I have two very different kids at Oasis (one in TK and one in 2nd grade). One is more academic and serious and one is more playful but both are thriving at Oasis and best of all, both love school and learning! Both have such strong connections with their teachers. When we receive the kids' assessments from their teachers and meet with teachers at the end of the trimester, I am astonished by how well they know my kids. They know how well my kids play or work in a group, how they deal with conflicts or setbacks, what frustrates them and so much more! Many of the things they notice (good or bad) are the same that I notice at home. If there's an area of concern, they always bring it up with me, collaborate with me and with my kids on improving the situation. Learning at Oasis is also very individualized and tailored to each child. Within each grade, there are different level classes for Mandarin and Spanish and some movement across grades also occur as needed. For example, when my older son first started at Oasis, he was in the kindergarten class and within a few months the school communicated with me that he's actually better suited to be in first grade. After discussing with me and getting my approval, the school and teachers made this change gradually over many weeks and communicated with me every step of the way. By the end of the process he was fully integrated into first grade and was happier because of it. It was just amazing how much they cared about his academic growth and his social emotional needs. During the first few months of this school year, they noticed that he could move up a level in Mandarin and Spanish and this time the switch was also seamless. Teachers at Oasis are constantly evaluating what's best for the kids and make changes when needed. My kids spend more time during the week at school than with me and I'm so thankful that they are at Oasis, where they are seen, heard and loved. My kids look forward to school and love learning. When I pick them up from school, oftentimes they don't want to leave and want to stay at school for the after school program. I've heard the same from other parents as well so it's clear how much the kids love their school!”

“My daughter and son attended BCMA for over two years and they both had great experience and got warm care and love from all teachers. They always told me "I miss school" when I picked them up. They had good time with good friends. I could see how they spent time in the school via app. Not only enriched education (especially we could see their improvement of writing skill since 2 years old), but also gaining sociality with friends - plus teachers encouraged and helped my son's potty training so he could complete it before 3.5 years old.Teachers must have had hard work during covid pandemic, but they always welcomed students and provided with great program.My husband and I really really appreciate all teachers' contributions to our kids, and recommend this wonderful school.”

“Altadena Nursery School is a hidden gem, we loved everything from the school, the kids learn so much, but so us as parents. “Picking a center for your child is terrifying, but choosing Covina KinderCare for our daughter has been one of the best decisions my husband and I have made. I was expecting more of a daycare, but instead I am so pleased with my daughter's progress academically. She started in Discovery Pre-School with Ms. Monica and Ms. Sandy and is now in Pre-School with Ms. Rani, Ms. Sessaly and Ms. Vanessa. Since she has started KinderCare, she knows all her colors, shapes, alphabets names and sounds, how to write her name(at age 3!!), her seasons, months, days and I could honestly go on! She talks so much and some of her vocabulary is astonishing! I am shocked some of the words she knows. Besides academics, this KinderCare is a family. I feel welcomed each time I walk in and have amazing conversations with all of the staff members. I know my daughter is well taken care of when I drop her off. This is one of the main reasons why we choose this KinderCare. Right away from the tour we could tell how much love is in the center, and that is what is most important to us. The communication is also open with the teachers and center directors and I can ask them anything when I picked her up. That is important because I feel like we are a team working together to do what is best for my daughter. We also receive updates and pictures throughout the day of my daughter's activities. I am sad my eldest daughter's time at KinderCare is coming to an end since she will be starting public school next August. But I am very eager for my youngest to start at KinderCare very soon!I couldn't be more grateful to this center and all of the staff members who have created this beautiful family that we belong to.”

Today is the last day of the school year, and while I'm sad that she is graduating, I'm also very grateful for the experience she had.I strongly believe in the schools foundational curriculum of play based learning. “We absolutely loved this preschool! It was head and shoulders above the last place we had our 2.5 year old. I love the variety of meals, the different themes every month that the whole school focuses on (including camping, where they got to play in tents, learn about bears and even had a bear-like lunch! (Salmon, berries, trail mix)). The teachers and the owner, GJ, are really invested in the kids and actually enjoy interacting with them. Shout out Ms. Emily and Ms. Michelle! My child even said, without prompting "Ms. Emily makes me happy." Their safety with their parking lot and gates are great. They take food allergies and sensitivities very seriously. I'm sad we moved back home because we're all missing Mentor on Lake!”

“We have had two boys in the infant toddler class and preschool classes at Princeton. They have been very loving with our boys, and plan fun activities for them everyday. I love that they feed them healthy meals and I don’t have to worry about that when they are there. Summer activities are fun and the staff is very loving. “If you are looking for a great preschool for your child look no further. This place is the best! Ms Mil is always nice, sweet and great communicator. She is always there to help and assist with every child's needs. I moved my child from a previous school to Academicise because there was no learning curve there, no structure and he was miserable crying at drop off after months. Now he is happy and excited to go to school every morning and play with his friends. what a change ! He loves his teachers Ms Jennie, Ms Aylin, Ms Norma and the whole team. He is always bringing cute art and craft with a smile on his face :) It's clear to me that the director and the teachers care about the students and love their work! The staff warmly greet you at check-in and see you off at check-out. The school is safe and way cleaner that other schools we have toured with plenty of parking in front. They provide a variety of nutritious meals (less stress of what to make for lunch), assist with potty training and have lots of fun activities. My son in a span of few weeks has grown academically, socially and emotionally. He has learned so much already, talks more and looks forward to going there every morning. He is for sure going to stay here there til he graduates! We are very happy with this school and I recommend it to any parents looking for quality preschool with an educational setting. We love the atmosphere and positive energy and we feel that our kid is in good hands. “If it wasn't for us moving my son would be here no doubt. The office were friendly and was sad to see us go from such a great school.. Love his TK teacher Ms. Aguayo, she was an excellent teacher from the beginning till the time we were there. I honestly didn't have no complain with her what so ever. They way she cared, shared, and understand each and everyone of her students was beyond my expectations. Not only to the students by with the parents as well, I would see how she will talk to the parents and express her concerns or how proud she was with the students.. if they told me Ms. Aguayo will be my sons teacher for every school year I will beyond thrilled.. thank you Ms. Aguayo for taking good care of my son and for being an awesome teacher.”

They love it and have learned so much. The teachers are so compassionate and caring towards my kids and me. “I just want to say that I've had my son at St Johns since we he was two, he is now4 1/2 and he loves coming to school now, when we started two years ago I almost pulled him out because I did not like his morning teachers " Flora and Naomi" everytime I would drop him off one was in a chair and the other would be standing around, I never seen them comfort the children when they were crying, his afternoon teachers were good with him, when the school got their new Director Mrs Bernadette, I noticed alot of things change, for the best, my son got new teachers and the school is doing alot better, we notice all the improvements, all the activities, celebrations and the summer is full of excitement, I can say that the school is better off without those teachers. I would like to thank the current teachers at st Johns for being loving and caring teachers, and also thank Mrs Bernadette for running a great school and wonderful staff, I highly recommend this school. “We started attending Oneonta Co-Op Greenhouse class September 2021 after they shut down from the pandemic. Starting preschool for the first time during a pandemic has been challenging, however, the teachers and board at Oneonta stepped up and made our family feel comfortable. The school has a protocol for covid testing to keep the community safe which has helped ease my covid concerns. The teachers at Oneonta are amazing. I tried to keep my preschooler entertained with a variety of project before starting preschool but I don't have the creativity of these teachers. My daughter wakes up excited to go to school to play in the water table, mud river, and whatever sensory bin has been setup. The flow of the green house is open to whatever sparks the child's interest. Activities are set up inside and in the adjoining play yard. Community time is not forced, kids are able to participate in table top activities if they choose. Although the parent requirements seem intimidating I promise they're not that bad and easily achievable. I feel that my kid is very safe here. Lastly the community is so so supportive, we are so happy to be part of this community.”

“My family and my boy love this preschool. My son was a very shy and timid 4 yo boy when entering Little Sunshine a year ago (we kept him at home before that due to COVID). He was so shy and even afraid dealing with toddlers younger than himself at that time. Only after a few months, we saw tremedous changes in him, slowly he has turned into a confident and independent young boy. The teachers are very loving and caring, and yet are very firm when teaching the kids to obey rules. There were two events i remembered vividly, one was during the 2nd week my boy was crying non-stop (he was struggling to adapt to new environment), and teacher Vivian successfully helped him to transition himself to be ready in just a few days by showing him that he was no longer the younger boys that yell and cry like toddler because he can already use his words. Another event was my boy acccidently peed in his pant, and he wasn't ashamed or upset about it when i picked him up after school. This was surprising as he is a very sensitive boy. I believe this had to do with how the teachers have dealt with this incident, i.e. teachers must have been using very tender and kind words and ways rather than rebuking him. I think all the teachers are very loving, emphatehetic, patient and encouraging. The communication with class teacher and admin is excellent, and the pictures posted daily keep me informed (and entertained) of my son's progress and learning. The Mandarin and Spanich lessons are certainly bonus. My son comes home with big small smile on his face and also has been more well behaved and definitely more sociable since attending the preschool. I'm very happy with our decision to send my son to this place, and i could'nt asked for more.”

“We were very fortunate to have our daughter join Clairbourn's Junior Pre-K Class led by Mrs Rankin and her TA, Ms Macchi. My daughter was attending a Montessori school prior to our looking into Clairbourn, and I felt that she needed more opportunities to perk her growing curiosity in life. Clairbourn School definitely has an abundant resources and opportunities to provide! What really made me so happy about switching over to Clairbourn was their strong emphasis on teaching and instilling kindness and respect for one another. Clairbourn also really felt like a family, a very caring and welcoming community. Every event they put on is so carefully thought out. Their back-to-school STEM event was amazing, the Grandparents/Parents Appreciation Days were so special, their Entrepreneur/Family BBQ was so much fun and their Christmas Show production was so well put-together. Unfortunately COVID hit us all by surprise in March 2020. I applaud how quickly Mrs Rankin learned and adapted to providing a virtual learning setting for the remainder of the school year. She personally dropped off weekly activity kits for my daughter and surprised us with a photo book at the end of the year with snapshots of our daughter's remote learning journey. We were looking forward to joining Ms Rubio's Pre-K class this past year, but due to LA County's Safer at Home mandate, their preschool was not able to open for in-person learning for Fall 2020. In the meantime, their head of school, Dr Patzlaff, and their lower school director, Mrs Paciorek, were very attentive and provided guidance on age appropriate activities our kids could engage in and continue in their development. They've been very communicative throughout this past year and very flexible and understanding of each family's situation. Your child will be loved at Clairbourn School--200%! You will have no doubts.”

“First off: I don't recommend many places. But, in short: we absolutely love this place, and tell anyone even remotely within driving distance to send their kid here!From the first day, the staff worked very hard to successfully integrate our - at the time - very shy child. Over night, she went from hating going to her previous preschool to absolutely loving going every morning. Every day since has been a torrent of excitement and learning, and the efforts of the staff really help our child open up and become a lot more confident (now she won't stop talking, though, so maybe we should ask for our money back?) In other words, we couldn't be happier to send our kid anywhere, honestly.Mses Suthi, Reina and Anna were all absolutely fantastic teachers, and always forthcoming, easy to work with and very atuned to the developmental needs of our child. The same goes for the director, Ms Christine, who we always enjoyed interacting with. Oh, and they're all extremely nice and reasonable people, which matters a lot in the day-to-day!We've relocated away from the area and will very much miss the whole group - thank you all for a great couple of years for our kid!”
