“So not everyone has thousands of dollars to take their animals to the vet when needed so I called around got different prices and this was by far the cheapest the actual office visit alone is only 25$ after the vet sees your animal he lets you know what he thinks the treatment option should be and the price is upfront out the door was only 75$ for some medicine the visit to know our dog was ok and the vet seemed to actually care about animal didn't seem like he was just trying to charge me threw the roof for stuff that was not even required I will be going back. When you get there you get a lil hand held buzzer when it's your turn it buzzed and you go up turn it in and get seen we did have to wait a lil bit but that's expected I didn't mind the wait for the price and assurance to know my dog was as ok.”

“Our sweet boy Marley needed his spleen removed and the team at Missouri Flat Animal Hospital was amazing. With this being a significant surgery and Marley being an older dog (14), I was concerned about how he would do. Dr Randy and his team was very reassuring and I couldn’t ask for better care for Marley. He’s recovered well and our pathology results were clear of any malignancy. It was evident to me that Marley’s wellbeing was just as important to Dr Randy and his team, as they were to me. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our boy.”
“Made an appointment to have the beak trimmed on my Electus parrot. Dr. Smith was good with my bird and very knowledgeable. Price was fair. Happy to have found a knowledgeable avian vet.”

My husband and I called very last minute because our regular vet has no veterinarians on staff on a regular basis it seems and all surrounding vets had no appointments available.
Both our dogs were experiencing vomiting and bloody diarrhea the last 3 days. Slate Creek was able to get them in and taken care of so quickly.
All the staff, from the Receptionist, to the Vet tech to the Veterinarian were all so professional and friendly.
10 out of 10 highly recommend and will most likely we will be returning. ❤️”
“Had to put down our elderly beagle as his life was becoming almost pure suffering due to his declining health, and the staff were so kind and compassionate. They didn’t rush us and let us take our time saying our goodbyes. It took us a few months to work up the courage to come back to pick up his ashes and again they were so understanding and caring. They gave us extra memorabilia that we didn’t expect upon receiving his ashes, to include a piece of set clay that had his paw print and name. It was very special and I’d highly recommend coming here for whatever your pet care needs may be.”

“They spayed my cat, the price was negotiable.
They quoted $200 on the phone, and when I got there it was $300.00 that was out the door with pain meds and antibiotics. Just under stand it’s more of a negotiation. Otherwise the staff were friendly, very helpful and kind. The veterinarian was nice as well. Gave a thorough assessment and final diagnosis info for going home. My cats new name is Koko Yoko after the cone came off, she is doing great!

“I love this vet hospital, the staff is always so friendly and never pushy if you don’t want to do something they recommend. They always give you printouts of stuff they recommend so you can look it up if you are on the fence. And most of all they treat all my pets with so much kindness!?

“My dog had a large and fast growing malignant tumor on his foreleg and we were told by other vets that the only option would be to amputate. Dr. Lopez took her time to work on it, was able to remove the entire tumor, and after taking great care of it post op, he is now left with just a small scar. Thank you!”

I had an emergency medical issue that required assistance as soon as possible and after a quick 5 minute call I was able to get my dog in immediately.
I have a large German Shephard with behavior issues and struggle finding care for her at times.
Not only were the staff extremely professional, but they were fully equipped and prepared for us when we got there.
The community is blessed to have this clinic around, and after hearing that it is in fact under recent management changes, I can only assume it has been for the better and it shows in the quality of care, compassion, and understanding I received.
