Will never take my cat here again. Vet Bader needs to be fired. He couldn't hear anything I said, didn't bother to even look at the intake form and made me repeat everything three times. He treated my cat like a dog, never once trying to gain report with the animal or make friends. He treated my cat roughly. Acted surprised when she hissed at him as if it were my fault. There was no tech to help secure my cat when he looked into the mouth so he made me put her in a cat bag. He seemed confused and unhelpful at diagnosing her. Didn't suggest any tests. Gave her an antibiotic shot and tried to give her fluids from an old, previously opened bag. His injection site was off target and the cat howled (she never does that at the vet). The bag wasn't even dripping properly and he was squeezing it and trying to figure out how to make it work while the needle was moving all around in her. She was screaming and so I had to rip the needle out. I had no idea how long that bag of water was open but I do know they expire after a week. Do yourself a favor and walk back out the door if you see this old man approach your pet. He will do more harm than good and charge you way overprice for it.

The front desk, assistants, technicians and doctors are all amazing and very knowledgeable. They make you feel very comfortable and supportive. I have seen the clinic packed with people and they do their very best to get everyone seen the best and fast they can. Would definitely recommend

Kat and Kathy are both super AMAZING and kind! They will definitely bring a smile to your face even in a time of uncertainty. Everytime I bring my animals here the veterinary staff are always helpful, thorough and explain everything to us in detail. <3

Called Shingle Springs Friday afternoon about getting a tooth extraction for our cat.. They got us the next day and were able to do the entire procedure and did a great job. Staff was great, Dr Bader was great, just a good experience all the way around.

The entire staff was super accommodating and helpful. Cheyenne was knowledgeable and obviously cares about each animal brought into the clinic. Dr. Omar was patient with me and answered all my questions and concerns while dealing with my kitten.

These people are amazing. My 7 week old kitten suddenly became severely lethargic, limp noodle. They were so kind and compassionate. The kitty is fine now. The cost was way less than some other places.

We thought our dog had foxtail in her eye. I love the staff and they were great with my dog. So glad they were open in the evening to take her in. A very warm and friendly environment.

The care provided was extremely poor, and I would not recommend this place. My cat suffers from severe car sickness, and I was required by state law to bring him in. Despite warning them beforehand, he became very ill and had an accident in his crate. When Leslie, a technician, came in, she commented that he wasn't friendly because he was meowing loudly. I explained that he's normally very nice but was feeling unwell and doesn't like being in a crate or car, which I had already discussed. She then asked if he was a good cat, and I affirmed that he's amazing. She replied with a dismissive remark, 'Hmm, he's second best.' It was unprofessional. Later, she mentioned being wary of cats because her dog had attacked her cat and has been mean ever since. This seemed irrelevant to our situation. I requested treatment for my cat's car sickness, but the focus shifted to irrelevant matters. Another customer was present and discovered his dog hadn't received treatment the day he dropped his dog off at the vet. When he confronted the technicians, they initially made excuses until he brought up he has hand written notes from the doctor he will bring in. I felt sorry for him. After he left, I overheard them speaking negatively about him. The lack of professionalism and accountability was disappointing. It's also concerning that the facility lacks soundproofing. The techs are poor but, the doc is understanding and great.

The doctor that is 81 needs to QUIT!!!!! He misdiagnosed my dog for MONTHS. Telling me it’s a cyst and never did a biopsy. Telling me appointment after appointment it’s a cyst. ITS CANCER I took him for a second opinion and immediately was told it’s cancer and has surgery next week.
Do not waste your time or MONEY Coming here.
They also let you leave to go purchase a prescription food with out the prescription. And told you to go to the wrong place for it. This place needs to close down.

The doctor miss diagnosed my dog for MONTHS!!!! Been asking for him to do a scan or whatever they need to do on a bump on his back. He kept saying it was a cyst. Turns out it's cancer!!! I'm so thankful I got a second opinion. They don't care and are neglectful. This old doctor should not be practicing WHAT SO EVER!!!! unbelievable.
