I'm a student here and it's fine I guess. Staff is overall nice but some of of them don't have any chill. Bathrooms are dirty all the time, school lunch is a little yucky but it's free so I'm not complaining. But the senior contract I have a huge problem with. In the last quarter of the school year I can't have more than 6 absences???? Why does it matter if I'm not failing my classes? to force every senior to sign and agree to that or else they don't get to walk during graduation, I think that's really messed up. Also, all our breaks are only one week nowAnyways, overall a normal high school. There is also a fairly homophobic and transphobic environment, so ig be aware of that if you have a gay or trans kid. Check up on them

My kids went to this school. It is a wonderful high school. Many teachers have been there a long time and care a great deal about the students. My kids played sports and had a great experience in athletics and academics.

Pretty decent high school. Yeah, they got rid of senior quotes and sometimes don't listen to what the students want. But this is true of most high schools. The bad reviews are from frustrated students who might be getting bad grades or have nothing else to do but try to write something funny. I had a good time there. Band program is A+, loved my four years there.

Completely focused on making money. Does nothing for the students and cuts off all the days other schools get off.

This school is rude to the students that do sports that aren't school sports like freeruning. The principles are disrespectful to the student and don't treat them like adults and civilized humans. They force more punishment to people running around campus then people doing drugs and smoking on school campus. I'am highly disappointed in this school.

One of the many reasons we moved to El Dorado County was the award winning schools. Our local high school in Shingle Springs has been nothing short of exceptional. My daughter graduated from Pondo and now my son.The teachers are supportive and encouraging. My son does not only have fond memories of high school, great friends, but also carries with him the knowledge that his generation will make a difference. And for once, in this crazy and uncertain times we live in, I believe in the class of 2013.Go Bruins!
