Rudest woman ever. Was in around 9:45-10am this morning and the woman who “helped” us was awful. I get it’s not the easiest job and I don’t want to assume anything about people’s lives, but she was horribly rude. We wanted to mail a letter and just get a receipt it was mailed from our end and she said ok that’s verified mail. And I said “does that require a signature” and she said yes and when I said we don’t need that we just want to ensure it’s sent, but don’t need to hold it for a signature she said “well what do you want?” I said I just want to know my options and she said “I just gave you your options” and then she rolled her eyes. Which she didn’t…I had to ask about the signature required and still didn’t know my options. Finally we got to sending it priority mail, but but the whole time she was horrible from the moment we reached the counter. Honestly will never go to this one again.

I called 6 times and reported that our postal lock is broken. Anyone can reach into our mail and steal it. They assured me it will be fixed. It has been more than a year. A thief stole our mail and police caught the guy. I'm going to report this post office to headquarters in Washington. I've done it before and got service a week later.

This post office lost many of my letters. I will never be sending mail out here again. It has cost me lots of money! I take photos of my letters before mailing them and I know it’s no wrong doing on my end.

I am scared to write this review because of retaliation, but I am already missing mail from my PO Box at this location, so it can't get much worse? Be VERY, VERY, VERY careful when you drop your mail off here. I have witnessed a "civilian" (in quotes because I'm not sure I believe it to not be an inside job) with a WORKING KEY go to the outside box (nearest to the door) and steal the entire white mail basket in the middle of the day. I reported it and was told it would be "investigated". I was then connected (through socials) with another woman who witnessed the exact same guy (verified once I spoke with her) do the same thing on a completely different day. She reported it to the same manager at this location that I had and was told that a sign could not be put on that mailbox to warn future users of the theft on the dates/times we reported it because HIS "manager" would not like it. I was told someone from the Post Master General's office would contact me (never happened) and so was the other woman who witnessed it (also, never happened). I pay almost $300/year here for the pleasure of stolen mail (3 different pieces of mail sent directly here around my birthday mysteriously never made it to my box) and was told that the theft was "addressed" when there was a postal employee stealing from that location, but I am still waiting on a sentimental letter to get to me from May. I used to love coming in here and seeing familiar faces. I recognize that is silly, but I largely work for myself, so they became like co-workers to me. I recognize that they do a VERY taxing job and I have sincere compassion for them, but the manager seems to be hiding something and this location is getting fishier by the week. I am so disappointed and I called the PMG's office to report the crime and was told I'd be called back. They never did - and I have a photo of the car/plate of the thief. This is why good people get burnt out and do nothing when literal federal crimes are witnessed for fear of both retaliation, apathy, or both. TLDR - DO NOT PUT YOUR MAIL IN THE OUTSIDE MAILBOX HERE. And, reconsider sending ANYTHING from this location. If I had not already paid for the year (after 10 years of having my PO box here), I would have moved it because of the obvious nefarious activities happening at this location. USE A DIFFERENT LOCATION IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR IDENTITY/CHECKS STOLEN!

DONE USING USPS after 2 separate envelopes with checks were lost / STOLEN from this box - 1 was cashed!! Don’t trust USPS workers for another minute. Do your research - internal mail theft is on the rise everywhere in the country.

I see someone below has already addressed this and it looks like someone may have been arrest for this. But I wanted to warn people not to mail checks from this location, even inside. Two checks that I mailed inside this post office were stolen and cashed. People have also posted on the neighborhood app that they've had similar issues at this post office. Fortunately, the bank did refund my money. I just want people to be cautious about mailing checks from this post office.

DO NOT DROP OFF MAIL HERE - Just found out they had an internal worker arrested for stealing checks. Was wondering why so many of my payments weren't making it to their destination as I use this location exclusively. Low and behold I have had fraud on all my business accounts in the last month.

I went up to the counter to ship a package that was ready to go and Alma was completely rude and just told me I had to step aside so she can help another customer. I told her that I wanted to ship this and I was waiting in line and called up. She then sent me to Harry who is always so nice and helpful. He really has the best personality and makes me want to continue to come here for him. But this Alma lady needs to go. She’s the only one I’ve ever had to deal with that had an attitude and so unhelpful

Waited in a very long line to inquire about sheet music I’d mailed to Australia that had been returned for no reason, tho’ it had correct postage. I was referred to a supervisor, for whom I waited at least another 20 mins. The Supervisor said I had to CALL customer service. What?! All I wanted was to remail music & get credit for the $9+ of postage I’d already paid! Pretty simple. So, he asked one of the postal clerks, who obviously had worked there a long time, and this person made it SO simple! He said there was already plenty of postage on the package and proceeded to simply prepare it to resend! So I’m very curious as to why I waited for a supervisor, who really didn’t have acceptable answers, nor could he do a thing!
Many thanks to Harry, I think it was, who knew the ropes, all answers, and could easily remedy the problem without much ado! Next time I come in, I’m waiting for Harry, period!

There is a big investigation regarding internal theft at this location. I was told a postal worker was recently arrested for stealing checks. Several law enforcement officers reported me being the 12th victim just in the last two weeks (not to mention those who didn’t report it) specifically at this location.

Worst customer service ever. When I didn’t know how to print out a prepaid shipping label, the female postal worker accused me of postal fraud. Don’t go here. The Van Nuys location is 10 times more patient and actually helped me!

Postal workers here are in the education business, not logistics. 5 out of the 7 people in front of me don't know the intricacies of whatever they are trying to do. Literally these works are patiently explaining why a $20 increase in insurance won't change the price, why they need more stamps, or that not dealing with them and purchasing the same online would result in literally the same price. Soooo patient. If you're actually expecting to come to a USPS store and be out in 5 minutes, frankly, you're the idiot.Amazing prices and friendly staff!

Tuesday morning 10:30 a.m. and BOTH outdoor drive-through mail deposit boxes are LOCKED and the other box near the entrance was STUFFED to the top! Nothing more could fit in. Be more considerate to your customers.
Went to the Sherman Way office instead...much better!
