One of my absolute favorites! I’m a second hand, thrifting, vintage lover. This shop is conveniently located by the 405 and 101 and always has parking. Really great stuff, especially house goods and cool vintage clothes. I decorated my wedding with thrifted dishes, glassware, cake holder, etc. I got some great pieces here and a cute brown leather belt. I have also donated my gently used items here. I’m an animal lover so I really love that it’s for animals! ???

I love shopping at Start Rescue Resale. It’s my favorite boutique thrift store in the valley. I have gotten quality brand name clothing there for extremely fair prices. Their salespeople are fantastic, especially Arlene. She has really great taste and always makes suggestions for things I would never think to buy. The best thing about this place is all the proceeds go to rescuing homeless animals from euthanasia. I highly recommend shopping here.

The older lady with the dark hair that works here is so unwelcoming, rude and made for such an uncomfortable experience. Ugly energy. Rude. I like the stuff in the store but I couldn’t be in there with here a second longer. Extremely rude when explaining discounts and how to use the front door that locks automatically. Wouldn’t open the door when I tried to come back in, even though I’m looking at her straight in the face through the glass. Won’t be back.

I love popping into this store! They have a little of everything.... designer clothes, glasses & jewelry, vintage dishes, holiday decor, dog and cat accessories. It also attracts very friendly customers so you always feel comfortable and welcome. Also the money you spend goes to help rescue animals.

This store brings a smile: great variety of items: something for everyone! I try to stop often for gift hunting because the prices are so reasonable for great quality items. Staff always thoughtful and helpful. Plus your money goes to help animal rescue: dear to my heart. Well worth your visiting

stumbled upon this store while walking down the street. My first time in. pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items. some great finds but very overpriced- particularly for a donation center, resale shop. my biggest turnoff was actually the attitude from the owner/sales person. she never acknowledged me or offered help or a simple hello. in fact when i did ask a question about an item that was on sale she basically barked, " its a good deal" and walked away from me. while there i heard her complaining to her co - worker about some of the items that were donated as she didnt like them. Not a good thing to do with customers in the store. overall i think the store has some unique and charming finds - even if overpriced. If i visit again i just hope its a different sales person working as the woman today was a huge disappointment and rather insulting all around.

Absolutely top notch place. The staff are so friendly and don't bombard you with questions at all. There is a lot of eclectic stuff here for really good prices. The proceeds go to help animals as well, meaning it's good for your wallet, good for the environment, and good for puppies and kittens. The integrity of the staff is absolutely unmatched. I dropped $20 out of my wallet and didn't realize, leaving the store. The owner followed me out and gave me the money that I dropped. She easily could have kept it and I would have had no idea, but she returned it from the straight up goodness of her heart. If you can only go to one thrift store for the rest of your life, this would be a good one

Cozy store with a small selection of high quality clothing. Mix of new and vintage. You will not find great deals nor a warm welcome.

I am grateful for everything they do, they work extremely hard to support rescue animals. The staff leaves much to be desired now- not as friendly as they once were. They are also quite picky as to what they accept for donations now, and their prices are much too high for a resale place.

What an LA gem! I wish I could come every week because of their incredible selection of clothing, purses, shoes, sunglasses, menswear and even household items. I'm very small (for the time being) and there's a huge selection for me. My man is large and there are plenty of options for him too. I never leave here empty handed and know the proceeds are going to a great cause! The staff is super friendly too! It's definitely the place to go for medium to higher end items. Also, if you donate things they don't think will sell, they redonate to other worthy causes.

THE PROBLEM WITH THIS PLACE IS THEY HAVE GREAT STUFF JUST WAY WAY WAY OVER PRICED. I USE TO GO ALL THE TIME UNTIL SOMEONE ELSETOOK OVER AND JACKED UP THE PRICES.

The woman working here behaved in an unwelcoming manner but changed her attitude very fast when I asked for the owners name.

New customer! I loved this antique store and has an organization for animals in need! An adorable and affordable pet rescue business!
