Super nice staff and tons of extremely cool games and things on the offing. Will definitely be back here for more figurines as I get to be a better DM

Parking isn't great by any means but the shop, staff and clientele are great!

We're a D&D party of 8 plus DM, and we couldn't find a place willing to accommodate a group of our size until Paper Hero's Games! The staff is so kind and helpful and they always make sure we have a space to play and everything we need. Special shout-out to Olivier who's always so friendly and accommodating. Though the player community here is more Magic-focused, the store also has a great selection of board games, D&D miniatures, and dice. Oh, and cheap snacks and drinks — a boon for those 4-hour sessions when my party is desperately trying to survive the mortal danger I throw them into.

I first discovered this place about a year ago, and all I have to say is that everyone here is friendly, respectful, and offers amazing customer service. I came in today to buy a Zeraora vs. Deoxys deck, and the person who helped me did an amazing job informing me about which starter deck to get for beginners. Very informative and very helpful. Keep up the amazing work!

Cards shops like this are despicable.. they give you 50% value and ask you to give 100% doc. Actually a little over 100%. I had four cards for trade. They offered me $18 maybe that was a Charizard TCG pricing 100% 18.84 The fact that you wouldn't negotiate $0.84 and told me you wanted me to pay two more dollars on top for my trade value. After you already said that was an okay trade. People like that just take advantage of people trying to have fun with the hobby. Don't shop there

A friend recommended this place to me for Warhammer stuff while I was in the area temporarily.
The store has a good selection of cards, board games, etc.
Sad the price for the Warhammer product is MSRP, but they had a good amount of stock.
The only reason why I rated this place 2 stars is because this one guy with a face mask irked me real hard.
Not sure if he's the owner, staff, or a customer.
But he hovered around watching me the entire time I was there.
Even pointed things out just because I'm looking at it.
It gave the store an unfriendly vibe.
If he's reading this:
Dude, chill.
I just wanted to see the store, since I like places like these.
I don't know if something happened in the past where the store got robbed or something.
But you made me feel unwelcomed, and I don't want to come back again because of it.

Not helpful . Low key rude and unfriendly. Snobbish and informative . Don't recommend.

I came in here with first edition, Pokémon cards in 2018 and they told me that they weren't any worth anything, and Pokémon would never make come back lol

An appreciator of the creators, players, and innovators at Paper Hero's Games - a small board game, comic book, novelty collector and table game shop, including trading card [Pokemon, Star Wars Unlimited, Flesh & Blood, etc] + role playing [like the classic D&D]. I've stopped in to check out the inventory and collections, which is super limited on the comic side, okay for graphic novels, but truly excels at Table Top games. The people are beyond friendly and I do recommend checking it out. I've gotten gifts for friends and a new game or two. PHG has grown and changed over the years becoming a super social card collector, player and topside gamer spot with events as well as tournaments. It's no purchase for entry to play games. Someone on duty might be right up front or getting their Loracna on... a newer growing Disney based trading card game. Their Facebook or Instagram being the place to keep up with the latest, not to mention their sibling stores near Sawtelle, Los Angeles, Santa Clarita and a new (coming soon) location in Huntington Beach. Parking is a small share lot with Nat's Early Bite Coffee Shop, Gift Worx, Oswaldo Lifestyle Fitness, and a few others in this Burbank [Blvd] Plaza mix. Way more parking options on the street with few restrictions [some 2hr limits].

Decent enough place for if you're a TCG player I suppose, but if you're looking for board games you're much better off going to another game store or even Target.
