I ordered a refrigerator on 11/9/2023. And the initial delivery was scheduled on 11/21. Then it was rescheduled to 11/25 due to the manufacturer's delay. Then again rescheduled to 12/14 for the same reason. Now I got a message about delay again to 3/5/2024. I called the BestBuy customer service for each delayed schedule andheard the same reason and confirmed the new delivery dates. Now on the occasion of the 4th delay, I have to criticize several points about my order experience at BestBuy:1. I chose BestBuy to purchase this item among many other stores, including Home Depot, Costco, Lowe's, etc., when all of them offered same price at that time, because BestBuy's delivery date was the earliest, as I sold my current refrigerator and needed a new one ASAP. 2. I could understand there could be a manufacturer's delay, but it should be only very exceptional, and major electronic stores like BestBuy should schedule the delivery of the products as accurate as possible. However, my experience of this order just demonstrates how much BestBuy cares more about the manufacturer than customer. How could I understand when the delivery schedule changed right next day after confirmed the date, and it happened several times in a raw. How BestBuy's order system works to schedule the delivery without considering the product's availability. It's a big curiosity. 3. We can live without television, but hard to live without refrigerator. Where could we store our frozen food after sold old refrigerator based on the original delivery date of the new one, but when it's delivered 4 months later? It's not just as simple as "reschedule or cancel" when it's delayed. 4. The delivery schedule is a covenant with customer, who chose BestBuy among others, and sacrificed their chances to choose a different store who is more sincere to their promises to the customers. So BestBuy had to double confirm the product's availability before schedule the delivery to the customer. The early delivery date without any promise couldn't be a business strategy to attract customers. Otherwise it'll be a just scam.

Man, I went into Best Buy and this man AJ helped me out!! He was amazing with customer service! I was completely lost on what to get for my ps5, and he pointed me in the right direction and we were able to find the right headset for me to game with! Should out to that man! Will definitely return thanks to him.

Avoid AJ. He has no clue what customer service is. I asked him for help and he tells me there won't be anybody there today to help me. Not that it might take some time but there is nobody today at all. And when I asked him a question, he starts making smart ass remarks and continued strolling around doing nothing. Of course providing no assistance. There are people out there desperately searching for jobs and this is the person Best Buy chose.

I recently bought a printer. When I got to the register, I gave the young man my card, he rang me up said, You're good to go and walked away from the register he didn't bother to give me my receipt. The only reason I got my receipt is because the young lady on the register on the right of the rude, trifling, disrespectful, loser , got on his register, printed out my receipt and handed it to me and thanked me . She also got a basket for us to take the printer to the car.I really appreciate her however, I am never returning to Best Buy AGAIN!! IT SHOULD BE NAMED "WORST SERVICE" And thanks to trash customer service, I will not be buying my Samsung 50 In. CU 7000 series TV on Nov 25th from this place!!!!

Frequent flyer at this double level Best Buy in Sherman Oaks with it's on parking structure as well as shared parking in a plaza lot for Gelson's, Starbucks, FedEx, Luna Grill and numerous other. You can enter this B.B. from Van Nuys Blvd or Milbank Street where it resides on the corner of across from Citibank and the old Pacific Theater. The corner street entrance/exit is always closed so you can physically enter the store from the parking lot. You'll be greeted by friendly Best Buy crew and get your footing for the layout of the store... Most essentials on the first floor including computers/laptops, lighting, software, security, cell phones, cameras, batteries, the geek squad and so forth. The 2nd level is down below and you can either take the escalator or the elevator down as well as back up when you're done. The 2nd level consists of sound equipment, stereos, speakers, appliances and entertainment... Including video games, movies, and more.I typically come in for small purchases and items, but Best Buy does have some solid sales as well as solid service. The checkout is pretty smooth, but not the most efficient layout. Especially for making purchases as each item has to be handed to your Best Buy crew person ringing you up... Unless a larger item in which case it can be scanned.Typically everything is always smooth when I stop in but they did have the descending escalator down and were out of some of the model displays for certain Apple related Desktop and Laptops I'd been looking at getting for updated personal use. While the Northridge location is a personal top favorite for myself in the area, this location is reliable in a pinch and offers great service as well as services.

Best experience ordering the HP Smart Tank 6001 printer through Instacart and getting it delivered to my home in an hour time frame. I called first to speak to their customer service department to consult on which printer they'd recommend for the following features I wanted: -Fast (prints 9 pages a min) -Cheaper ink replacements ($15ish replacements per color)-Scans *AND copies* (important feature I needed)-Color (Also very important)-Cost conscious (On sale! Plus, Instacart was giving additional $30 off for Father's Day)Love it so much!--

Simple and easy per the normal for a Best Buy location. Needed a scanner for my business needs and they were happy to help me find the least expensive scanner to fit my needs.Parking is strange at this location but available.

This rating is specifically for Jens. He kindly asked me if I needed help in the tech area because I probably looked lost. I told him I needed help looking for a MacBook and asked him what the difference is between memory and storage. Jens was able to explain things in a manner that I would easily understand. Not only that, but Jens was a wonderful human throughout his entire interaction. There are too many positive things to say about Jens so I'll keep it short - thank you for your time, being awesome and informative!

The store is very understaffed. It takes way too long to get the attention of a salesperson who can answer questions. I didn't have time to wait and didn't want to buy something that wasn't compatible with what I had (stereo stuff), so I had to just walk out. I was ready to spend a hundred bucks. The store can't get by on its current level of staffing and expect to compete with online retailers. If I'm forced to do my own research, there's little point in going to a store like this.

The setup: we were rear-ended a couple of days before our visit. Luckily the dash cams I got off Amazon captured the front & rear videos of the other driver's negligence and all is well. However, now we had a rental and I desired a plug & play dash cam asap (our other one is hard wired). We were near the Best Buy and I thought, "Terrific, let's pick one up!" It took about 5 minutes to find the dash cams. Honestly, the place feels like a Circuit City these days. I'm old enough to know when something feels outdated :) still, for the convenience of having something in hand within minutes, I shall navigate the brick & mortar. We alas hunt down an associate and ask a few questions. The answers were subpar compared to my google search. And then I realized...none of it mattered...because they only had about 25% of the selection in stock! The associate even had the audacity to say that I can forage through the small unlocked cubby myself if I wish. Inside I found disorganized open box items, and random dash cams. And then I realized again...why on earth am I digging through a pile like I'm at some sort of discount store when these items are pricey and deserve full customer service from BB associates?! The guy suggested that if it's not there that they could order it - LOL good sir, that's what Amazon is for! BB's job is to be fully stocked so that everyone walks out with what they want, or something comparable. Disappointed, I hoisted myself off the ground and walked out of the store feeling like BB might be on its last leg. Just like Sears, I believe it might lean on appliance sales until death. I ended up getting a solid dash cam for $50 off Amazon delivered early the next day and it works great! If I had my druthers, I would trade Best Buy for Fry's. Sigh, goodbye old friend.

Horrible service. Don't ever expect for them to have something that the Best Buy website says is in stock. Lazy workers don't even want to check the back of the store for more stock.

Wow! this a big two floor store with a lot of merchandise and many employees willing to answer my questions. I was looking for a wire plug and the employees knew they didn't carry it but sent me to the plug aisle. They were right, now on to search a website to order it online.
