“My new local convenience mart... Just mere skips from home... This could be dangerous... I've been in so much just for super lotto and various scratcher as well as the occasional night cap or day snack. They have an easy but well utilized layout with small isles of items and plenty of room to navigate about. Metro Liquors off Magnolia and Van Nuys Blvd is a family run mum and pop biz with a lot of wonderful people who run it. They run out of Topo Chico often, my absolute seltzer obsession, but they have plenty of good craft brew options not to mention a solid selection of wine and spirits. Being a neighborhood market of sorts they do carry those small personal hygienic items, accessories, canned food, condiments, paper goods and even some pet related items as there are lots of dog owners and lovers in the area. Technically on the corner of Tilden and Magnolia off a small residential street just behind the Acura of Sherman Oaks dealership... You can find a fair amount of easy parking close by or if your in the area... It's a very easy one day entrance/exit for access. There's usually a good movie or TV show on the screen they have on the floor which I sometime stop and enjoy with whoever is on duty for a beat. Definitely worth checking out even for just some of the best customer service in LA, hands down.”

“I’m SHOCKED at any of the bad reviews here. This place is a local GEM. I don’t come here too often as I don’t drink very much but every single time I have a great experience. The staff is so nice and always make me feel welcome. Carlos is such a friendly guy and I’m always happy that he remembers me and my boyfriend when we come in. Days gone are the times when local business made customers feel like family, but not here. This store has the kind of community respect that one can only find in Midwest small towns, and I love it for that.Incredible beer, seltzer, kombucha, mead, tequila etc. selection. I love that I can buy single cans so I can try new things!! I could spend hours looking through all the options here, there’s so much to choose from. It’s never a quick stop for me because of that. Nondescript on the outside, a treasure trove on the inside!“Valley Bev” has lifelong loyalty from me.”

“My wife and I took friends to dinner here. It was an amazing meal all around. Everything was perfectly made, from the appetizers to the drinks to the main course and dessert. The service was phenomenal and we did not feel rushed at all. We will definitely return soon.”

There are a lot of homeless people around but what do you expect, it's LA! The owner is a very funny guy so long as you're not a pain in the a**.
