“I’m SHOCKED at any of the bad reviews here. This place is a local GEM. I don’t come here too often as I don’t drink very much but every single time I have a great experience. The staff is so nice and always make me feel welcome. Carlos is such a friendly guy and I’m always happy that he remembers me and my boyfriend when we come in. Days gone are the times when local business made customers feel like family, but not here. This store has the kind of community respect that one can only find in Midwest small towns, and I love it for that.Incredible beer, seltzer, kombucha, mead, tequila etc. selection. I love that I can buy single cans so I can try new things!! I could spend hours looking through all the options here, there’s so much to choose from. It’s never a quick stop for me because of that. “My new local convenience mart... Just mere skips from home... This could be dangerous... I've been in so much just for super lotto and various scratcher as well as the occasional night cap or day snack. They have an easy but well utilized layout with small isles of items and plenty of room to navigate about. Metro Liquors off Magnolia and Van Nuys Blvd is a family run mum and pop biz with a lot of wonderful people who run it. They run out of Topo Chico often, my absolute seltzer obsession, but they have plenty of good craft brew options not to mention a solid selection of wine and spirits. Being a neighborhood market of sorts they do carry those small personal hygienic items, accessories, canned food, condiments, paper goods and even some pet related items as there are lots of dog owners and lovers in the area. Technically on the corner of Tilden and Magnolia off a small residential street just behind the Acura of Sherman Oaks dealership... You can find a fair amount of easy parking close by or if your in the area... It's a very easy one day entrance/exit for access. There's usually a good movie or TV show on the screen they have on the floor which I sometime stop and enjoy with whoever is on duty for a beat. Definitely worth checking out even for just some of the best customer service in LA, hands down.”
“I'm not a drinker , I only come here to buy Lotto because the service is great. They dont make a face when I hand them more than one ticket to process like some retailers do. The parking is convenient and they are open late which is nice !”

“The staff is very friendly and the place gives off a homey vibe. It is definitely not your usual liquor store but that's what makes it unique. There are a lot of homeless people around but what do you expect, it's LA! The owner is a very funny guy so long as you're not a pain in the a**. Be kind and respectful and the store will reciprocate that.”

“I love this place! I recently started going there and I'm sure the owner recognizes already lol I probably go like once or maybe even twice a week. Lol I usually see the guy more than the lady. He's extremely kind! They have the no touch pay, if you have your cards set up on your smart watch or phone. He has everything! Really decent wines too! Love this place”
“I can only judge this place based on my experiences and everyone else must go from there. All I will say is the selection of products is interesting and the prices could be better. However, I love my lady behind the counter!! She’s super sweet!! And the other guy looks like he belongs to an 80’s metal band and is aloof, but he’s still cool……….. Go and check out what they have for your weekend pregame.!!?? make sure you check out all those random single beers they have”

“Excellent customer service. I needed two bottles of Pinot Grigio - never drink it but to bring to a dinner - and the woman who helped me was wonderful. Don't know her name - pretty young black woman? Really knows her wine. Steered me away from the "Coca-Cola" of Italy Pino Grigio. Many thanks! The wine is for an Italian friend and the last thing Is want to do is get her subpar wine. Merci! (Oh crap that's French!)”
