Been going here for years. It's fine. It's close to home. But, like, when I first signed up they said they were planning a major overhaul/upgrade. Still waiting for that. The treadmills are old and half-broken. A few new machines have been added, but it really needs a facelift.

Worst LA fitness I have been to. Small, strange space, old and many things needing to be replaced. Dirty and not a ton of equipment.

Yes, the gym is tiny and the parking sucks. That said, it’s still infinitely better than the cattle-car/sardine-can LA Fitness on Laurel Canyon and Oxnard. I can at least get a full workout here.

I live in Philadelphia & was reached from Chandler, who was very helpful in educating me about the facilities & plans that would best fit me. I haven’t been able to make the leap into plans with other gyms but they were very reassuring & offered me a guest pass to feel it out where I lived. The team out here also were welcoming- I wanted to leave this review here to say, “Thank you Chandler. If it wasn’t for your push in the right direction- I would have never gotten on the right track. I want you to have that credit”

I like this gym. Ramone is a very caring and helpful trainer. The gym itself is quite small and parking is scarce, but the locker room (women’s) is clean and spacious. Truthfully, I prefer Planet Fitness, but there isn’t one in this area; so, LA Fitness is probably the most affordable gym in Sherman Oaks.Ultimately, it’s a great gym for basic workout needs but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who’s into serious weight training or for anyone who would need outdoor gym equipment.
