Our dog is 12 or 13 years old and needs a special metabolic diet. He's diabetic and blind and reacts very well to this food. He's never liked dog food, and only ever ate people food, but, he loves this stuff. The staff at your Sherman Oaks location treat us very well.

The staff is great. They are always friendly and helpful when my pup and I come in. However it seems like JFFD corporate HQ doesn't communicate well with the staff there. I find that puts them in an awkward spot where they can't answer questions about when a product will come in because corporate has not told them. It's really not fair to do that to the staff because then all the blame gets directed towards them. So it's five stars for the staff at Sherman Oaks but zero stars for JFFD corporate. I hope this motivates HQ to communicate better.

My dogs love this store and the food! My dogs actually want to eat their food every meal and their overall energy has improved! The staff are always very friendly and knowledgeable in the store and always answer the phones right away whenever I call to place an order. The store is always clean and I trust to get my dog's food here!

I like this store! The employees are always so sweet and helpful! I love their food and feel great giving it to my fur baby! It's tiny inside and street parking but I've never had an issue not finding parking. The only thing I wish that they would do is ensure the sample jars of treats are always full because every time I go in there there is only a handful of crumbs in each jar. I realize some people fill up their little bags so maybe they need to put a sign up to not be a piggy! Lol I recommend the food and this location.

Best food for your dog! Great staff and great stuff. I use to give my two mini dachshunds kibble but transitioned them to JFFD fresh food and notice improvements in energy and general mood. Try it.

After many random health issues and expensive trips to the vet/hospital, an internal digestive specialist vet recommended the venison and fish to rule out allergies. After 6 week trial and no issues, eating well, hydrated so we have been customers ever since. We added beef and use their recipe with supplement if not able to get a fresh restock or while traveling.Sweet potato and fish goes bad a bit faster so keep frozen.

My dog loves the food and is on a prescription for Balanced Remedy. But he’s had this prescription for three years and they’ve been out of it for three months. They say it’s a Turkey shortage but why don’t they pre-plan for that? Isn’t the food frozen after all!?With regard to the Sherman Oaks store. The manage Katie seems kind but the associate I spoke with today needed to speak with a therapist or maybe take a break? After referring me to a manager for a confirmed online order that wasn’t available (ok good idea thanks), she did just the opposite and continued to explain to me on the phone an additional 5 minutes her system. When I gently interrupted and asked her “in the interest of time to please just go ahead and pass me onto that manager so we can try to resolve the issue” she said ok than strangely came back to the phone a beat later to berate me and suggest I was needing to “talk to her in a different way” I’m calling to get my dog food not be trapped by this person.What is it about people who feel that stating you are in the wrong makes them right. It just doesn’t.Thanks guys. Just wanted my dog food that costs $70/week for a 25 lb dog. Shouldn’t be this hard.
