Dr. Gray at Healing Touch has been a trusted vet for our animals for nearly 20 years. She is the ONLY vet I trust our animals to...knowing that they will receive the best loving care as if they were hers. After bad experiences with other vets and practices...there is nowhere else I would go.

Healing Touch, is exactly what their name signifies. I and my doggies find the care and treatment of my furry guys is best available. Most courteous and helpful staff- Dr. Grey, is beyond being the Best Veterinarian.

Our heart-wrenching experience at this vet clinic has left us grappling with trauma, necessitating months to muster the strength to recount this painful journey. Our beloved Buddy, a 10-year-old Chocolate Labrador, faced a devastating diagnosis of Hemangiosarcoma on June 8th, 2023. Following the surgical removal of his spleen with a tumor on June 1st, 2023, initial hope was crushed when specialists confirmed the cancer's incurable nature and its swift, elusive progression. In our relentless pursuit of alternatives, we discovered Healing Touch and Dr. Audra MacCorkle. The initial visit on July 28th,2023 filled us with optimism as she confidently claimed success in treating cases like Buddy's using vit C IV, acupuncture, and herbal remedies. However, Buddy suffered his first seizure, prompting an urgent visit to the ER.The ER visit unveiled a grim reality – the cancer had spread to Buddy's liver and around stomach area, accompanied by moderate internal bleeding. The stark recommendation of euthanasia cast a shadow over our hopes. In desperate attempts to seek guidance during this crisis, our calls to Healing Touch went unanswered. Dr. MacCorkle's silence compounded our distress, leaving us feeling abandoned.Days later, returning to Healing Touch for treatments, Dr. MacCorkle maintained unwarranted optimism, dismissing the ER's urgency as overly dramatic. Additional supplements, herbs, and encouragement to continue vit C IV treatments were prescribed. However, Buddy's health deteriorated rapidly; he experienced another seizure and could barely walk, needing to rest every few steps. Repeated pleas for guidance were met with silence from Dr. MacCorkle.Visiting the clinic again, she persisted in her optimism, attributing Buddy's weakness and seizures to LR wind and Spleen deficiency. Further treatments were suggested, including doubling or tripling the weekly sessions. A visit to the ER for an ultrasound painted a dire picture – more blood in Buddy's belly than in his veins, contradicting Dr. MacCorkle's assurances. On his third treatment after the ER visit, Buddy could no longer stand. His belly visibly distended, Dr. MacCorkle shockingly assured us that dogs could live for years with such severe internal bleeding, advocating for even more treatments. The aftermath of the vit C treatment rendered Buddy incredibly weak, requiring us to carry him.Our financial investment exceeded $10,000 in this clinic, a substantial sum for treatments that not only proved futile but exacerbated Buddy's suffering. Dr. MacCorkle's apparent profiting from our desperation, coupled with her refusal to return calls during critical moments, deepened our anguish. The lack of follow-up from the clinic after we ceased treatments highlighted their apparent indifference to Buddy's life.Buddy passed away naturally on November 14th, 2023, leaving us with a profound sense of loss and unanswered questions surrounding the care he received at Healing Touch.

I could write a book about the world-class care our dogs get at Healing Touch. Dr. Gray has been our vet for over a decade and we’ve also seen Dr. K and Dr. Audra and both are terrific. Without exaggeration, we’ve had extra quality years with our dogs that we would have missed with less skilled care. Recently, we’ve spent some time on the east coast and practices there with great reputations are far behind where Healing Touch is in new treatment options (one vet kindly duplicated the weekly treatments Dr. Gray was doing for our guy at Healing Touch and subsequently started offering similar treatments to her patients). Everyone who works there is genuinely lovely and kind (Tanisha, the practice manager, should run the world) and I learn so much from them. We are beyond grateful for all they do and I can’t recommend the practice more highly.

We get our two pups teeth cleaned by them every 3 months and I can’t speak more highly. Gentle, caring, no anesthetic so it’s much safer than other methods. They are super attentive, dogs are always really happy when they come out. Highly recommend for teeth cleaning in particular.

I called to make an appointment for my dog. I liked the idea of eastern medicine instead of just surgery. They wouldn't let me make an appointment without giving them a deposit. They didn't ask my dogs name or why I was bringing him in. It was all about money!!! I. Was so turned off that I told her I was going to call a vet that actually card about my pup. She was not fazed at all!!!

I hesitated writing this review but felt it necessary for those looking for a holistic vet. I've had a pet rescue charity over 30 years, since the 90s specialized in holistic healing mostly for sick, abused and Senior Dogs and my favorite holistic vet, Dr. Mackinnon from the Holistic veterinary center left the area so I was searching for a new favorite. When I saw that this place opened up around the corner from my house I was so excited and booked an appointment right away to get in one of my rescue dogs who had recently lost use of his rear legs. I wanted chiropractics and acupuncture. I had seen Dr Audra's name floating around for years as a holistic vet so booked an appointment with her and she had a very engaging adorable bedside manner. I was so excited to finally have found a new place very close to where I lived. Not only did they not do chiropractics or acupuncture on this dog, they wrote me up an invoice for nearly $3000 for things that had nothing to do with getting this dogs back legs functioning again or anything that he truly needed. She even went so far as to advise a consult with a cardiologist. I went back to Dr Leach, the owner of Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital who is not holistic but is the best vet I had ever found in decades of having my rescue. Although not a holistic vet, Dr Leach always worked with me admitting she doesn't know anything about homeopathy or whole food supplements and was never offended that I did my own thing most of the time. With her assistance, many of my rescues that ended up with me were known for thriving into their twenties.Dr Leach immediately was able to properly figure out what was going on with this little boy's back that compromised his walking and also immediately discovered that there were no heart issues as there had never been.Dr Leach charged me almost nothing to properly diagnose my dog and get him the help needed and The healing Vet wasted hundreds of dollars of my all volunteer Charity's money! Had I followed their protocol it would have been 3,000! In addition, the person I was supposed to speak to with any questions was extremely short rude and seemed like she couldn't even be bothered.Needless to say I will not be returning and I advise anyone to proceed with caution if they choose to go there.

Ive been taking my dogs and cats to Dr Kay and Dr Grey for...20 years? Ive had multiple issues with multiple pets from minor to the worst. I trust them more than any other of the many many vets Ive used including emergency rooms, specialists etc. healing touch is a full on holistic clinic. Dr Kay and Dr Grey offer western and holistic. They also do surgeries, and dentals. The office staff is very nice, and they care. I cant speak for Dr Audra. She specializes in alternative care and if that is what, and all you need, Ive heard great things. Dr Kay and Dr Grey also offer alternative help for your pets too. Ive done both conventional and alternative with them.

Dr Audra ROCKS! As does the entire staff. Very friendly and informative. My elderly bunny has back end weakness and acupuncture helps tremendously! I can't recommend this place enough!
