“I have never enter this store but I did wait for my brother in the car meanwhile he got a Siddur for me. I observed how the owner walked with my brother towards the books and probably explained to him what the book was for. It took me a while to read the Siddur. Know that I read it every morning and night, I’m very happy with it. May God continue to bless this shop. ?”

Amanda, the owner, curates a beautiful selection of cards, jewelry, art pieces, and trinkets – there's always something special for everyone on my list. Last weekend, I dashed into MindfulNest in a last-minute card frenzy, only to realize I'd left my wallet at home. I explained my predicament to Amanda, hoping she'd put the card on hold for me. To my astonishment, she smiled and said, "Just take it and bring me the money next time you're in!" I was floored! This act of kindness cemented my loyalty to MindfulNest more than ever. “Recently stopped by with a friend. She wanted to dye her hair and read online this was the best spot in town. It's a bit hidden but it's to the left of the dispensary. Great customer service and the service/products are awesome! Definitely recommend . Stop on by you won't regret it. My friends hair looks amazing! “I went here to find a gift for a holiday gift exchange. My first visit I was thrilled to find a curated selection of products from books, to notecards, jewelry, candles, bath salts and lotions, to name just a few. The broad selection made it easy to find gifts, and the clerks were very helpful. You can get up to three gifts gift-wrapped for free, and she did an amazing job. Stronly recommend - this store is a gem!”

“After Necromance, sadly, closed their brick and mortar shop, there was a brief period in time where their combination of taxidermy and Victoriana was no where to be seen. I'm a big fan of Gold Bug in Pasadena, but they are not quite as "dark" in their aesthetic. Memento Mori, on the other hand, feels like a pretty good replacement. So, what are you going to find here? Well, as you may have guessed from my intro, taxidermy. The classic boars and deer heads preserved as wall ornaments...but also delicate butterflies beautifully arranged under glass domes. While no where near as extensive a collection of preserved animal parts as Necromance, there still is a decent collection, particularly for decor. Memento Mori also lacks the strong mothball smell that permeated the aforementioned store. There is a large collection of silver jewelry incorporating classic taxidermy elements, such as glass eyes. And lots of trinkets for those of a "gothic" aesthetic. They also carry a number of very comfortable tshirts bearing variations of their logo, one of which currently hangs in my closet. Memento Mori also appears to serve as a gothic community center: they always have flyers and posters advertising events such as Endless Night, a vampire-themed ball, or gothic-themed fairs for artisans. So, definitely worth a visit if your aesthetics or predilections lean to the darker side of life.”

“Wow! I came in here for a quick gander before an imaging appointment at Cedars. This place is high vibe. The crystals are gorgeous and there are oodles of them. They have some hard to find specimens and many pieces are museum grade quality. Magnifique! They have a crystal to fit in everyone's budget. The staff were very friendly and helpful in checking us in and storing our luggage. We even bought some souvenirs after because we enjoyed the service a lot. “Love the late night, mellow vibes here. Soo many goodies for my eyes to feast upon when entering the shop! So much tantalizing incense! Ohh! Ah! So many cool t-shirts! Look at all these vapes! Wait... am I allowed to say that? Ahem... and such pretty pipes and dab rigs!The sensory overload is strong in this place! I'm seriously not allowed to come in here if I haven't taken my afternoon dose of Adderall otherwise my brain feels like a pinball machine, and my eyes dart back & forth like I'm all hopped up on Mountain Dew, and I end up making too many impulsive purchases. Damn, I really didn't need that box of whippets, 10 different kinds of incense, 3 new bubblers, 5 ceramic tips for my Nectar Collectors, a Costco-sized jar of mannitol, and hey, wait... oops, I believe this gorgeous feline belongs to you guys *nervously chuckles and hands over a purring yet confused Chloe* Yep! That'll be all! Thanks, guys! In all seriousness, Giftworx is a great shop with comparable prices and excellent service. Although I'm a bit vampy, I try to stop by during the afternoon to say hi to Dee and enjoy a bit of existential conversation and sage wisdom. Dee is the man! And Giftworx is the jam!”

“As I strolled along the wooden planks, the vibrant lights of the Ferris wheel caught my eye, beckoning me closer. Its colorful glow illuminated the night sky, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that seemed to defy gravity. I couldn't resist the temptation, so I hopped on one of the gondolas and ascended into the starry heavens. From the top, the view was breathtaking. The vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean stretched out before me, its dark waters shimmering under the moonlight. The cityscape twinkled in the distance, a testament to the vibrant energy of Santa Monica. As I descended back to the pier, I couldn't help but be drawn to the lively sounds emanating from the arcade. The clinking of coins, the cheers of victory, and the playful banter of competitors filled the air. I joined in the excitement, trying my hand at the various games, feeling a surge of adrenaline with each success. As the night grew late, I found myself reluctantly bidding farewell to Santa Monica Pier. The memories I had created would forever be etched in my mind, a testament to the magic and vibrancy that this place held. With a contented sigh, I made my way back, knowing that I would return again to experience the enchantment of Santa Monica Pier.”
“I stopped by here with my wife because she wanted to see what t-shirts they have to offer here. When I walked in, a worker greeted me and asked if I needed any help. I told him that I didn't and that I was just browsing. They didn't have a lot of variety of shirts but they had some funko pop toward the back. They also had a decent selection of backpacks. The store isn't that big but it's a good enough space for this store.”
“I have been coming to this place for years, this review is overdue! It's definitely worth the trip. The store is alway neat with plenty of items! Necklaces, bracelets, crystals, salt lamps, a few spiritual decks and books, and many different candles and sprays. The selection of incense is impressive, and there are some loose/fresh ones as well that smell really good. A few of the candles that I like are sold out from time to time when I go, because they fly off the shelves! Y'all are getting hip ... But they have some new candles, as well as Florida waters, soaps, deodorants, and candles in stock. The owner is always super sweet and makes great suggestions. She is kind and very appreciative of her loyal customers. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. If you're in the Valley then it is no trip at all :)”
