The store is beautiful and organized. I have been coming to the store for a few years. Fargana started helping me in the Lancome counter. She is now with Estèe Lauder. She recommended the Estèe Lauder serum. I used the ir for one week. The changed in my skin was amazing. I purchased 2 bottles. She is awesome and do is her manager. Thank you again

This place has really gone down the tubes. And it's not the merchandise that's to blame. It's the slack, uninterested service. And it's how everything is displayed to look sloppy, gross, and unappealing. I don't know what happened to this store, but they now seem to go out of their way to cater to an uncouth crowd that's not used to decent stores. The norm here is to overload clothing onto racks. Not much attempt at aesthetics, organization by size, or anything else. It's not that they don't have good values (if you work hard enough to find them), but it's really gonna take some effort because EVERYTHING is SO disorganized.Good department stores are easy to navigate, well staffed and friendly. But sadly, Macy's in Fashion Square doesn't seem to care about these things. And it's doubtful that anyone used to better will want to patronize this pigsty.

I needed a new dresser. I needed the old one hauled away or at least taken down a flight of stairs. I specifically asked Macy's if that could be done and I was told it could be done so I purchased the dresser. When the delivery guys came the men said they can't take it down a flight of stairs. They can move it in the room which would block the bedroom doorway. I am in crutches and in a boot. It would be dangerous to have the ole dresser block the doorway. Now I understand why Macy's is in trouble. No customer service. Stay away

I had a horr customer service experience at the counter while trying to return a pair of boots I purchased on-line and second time searing them the sole totally became unglued. I'd received them 2 weeks ago. so, they are new. Shoe department told me I have to go return in marketplace down to the first floor. I cant believe the lack of customer service skills from eve there including their manager. truly Macys quality of costumer care has lost it. time to switch stores after years of buying only at Macys.

Okay...I have to tell a story about my men's suit shopping experience at Macy's:I donated all my suits during Covid because they were old, old style, not being worn. A year ago I kept saying to myself--I need to just buy one suit in case something comes up that I need a suit. Kept putting it off--I have not purchased a suit in more than 25 years!Last week I get a call that they need me to work in a suit in 2 days. Best I was able to put together was my favorite sport jacket and pants. Got a little grief over that but it worked out fine.Decided it was time to shop so this does not happen again.Looked online and then headed to Macy's.Get to the Men's Suit Department to discover that they have tons of suits all pre-tailored to jacket size and pants width and length. No tailor works in Macy's anymore--all the suits are ready to wear.Only one problem: With the exception of the Ralph Lauren Suits, every other manufacture they sell and every other suit are cut for men that were told by the wardrobe department to come dressed camera ready for a comedy show wearing a suit where the sleeves are too short, the center button pulls on the jacket like it does not fit, the seat is as tight as a woman's Lululemon yoga pant, and the pant's hem is higher than the ankle like flood water pants. Another-words--buy a suit so you look like a total A-hole so people will laugh at you! AKA Thin-Fit Suit--which makes up 90% of suits in Macy's!--that no one is buying and is a terrible fad that will be out of style soon.Folks, let me tell you something--I have the bod that fits these thin suits, but when you put them on, you cannot sit comfortably and it looks ridiculous--like you are mimicking Pee Wee Herman! There were 15 people last night in the Men's Suit department and they were all asking the nice women in the suit department the same question: Do you have any suits that don't make me look like a Schmuck? And the answer she kept on giving to everyone is only Ralph Lauren makes a traditional suit that does not look ill-fitting on a man these days. RL has a ton of different patterns--I tried on a dark grey RL and it fit incredible--was on sale for 50% off--could not go home without it. ($700 reduced to $350--Wool and Poly Blend) Cut exactly to size--both jacket and pants waist and length, no alterations needed anywhere--perfect out of the box. Ralph Lauren also had a cool blue and black tiny herringbone pattern sport jacket I did not really need, but looked great on I had to take too. ($300 reduced to $125).The saleswoman tried to apply another 30% friends and family discount over that but the computer balked at it and warned that Ralph Lauren prohibits that on these garments. Did not intend to spend so much $$ tonight--but now I am ready for anything. Can someone here now please invite me to an event that I have to wear a suit !?(30 day return policy--keep tags on.)Easy easy free parking right outside the Macy's door on the East side of the building, enter Macy's--suits right there! Easy!Fitting room: Very well lit, some bigger than others--not all have a bench to sit down for some reason, lot's of rooms, doors don't lock so people kept knocking, floor okay clean--not to my perfection, I pushed away the pins.

I have been shopping at this location for years. Today, I forgot my cellphone in a dressing room. Now which one? Panic settling, I run around until I walk into a smily face holding my phone. Athena (hopefully I got your spelling right) got it from a customer who saw in the dressing room, then she saw me running from one room to the other and came after me. Saved my day!!!!!This I the second time I have forget something in this specific store. First time was my wallet, which I recovered untouched.Way to go Macy's, you sure have a great team!

***DO NOT PURCHASE SHOES FROM FINISH LINE AT ANY MACY'S. YOU ARE GIVING AWAY YOUR MONEY AND PURCHASING DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS***I tried to return a pair of defective Asics running shoes and both Finish Line and Macy's would not accept my return. I purchased these shoes back in October 2022 (3 months ago) and after 3 months the mesh at the toe line of one shoe gave out and created a small hole. "Running shoes" should be made to last longer than 3 months and both companies (Finish Line and Macy's) should have a better return policy for defective products. Macy's in-store customer service would also not take my return because the shoes were worn (obviously!!) and put the responsibility back on Finish Line which I was told only rents space in their stores through their "partnership" with Macy's, which is how Macy's was able to negate their responsibility for accepting my return. Somehow, you can use your Macy's card to purchase shoes from Finish Line in Macy's and they'll gladly take your money, but they want no part of the responsibility for defective merchandise sold in their stores. Finish Line needs to stop selling athletic shoes that don't last longer than 3 months and Macy's needs to reevaluate their return policies AND business relationships with companies selling defective products. This is the second time this has happened to me. Macy's I thought you were better than this.

I had to make an obnoxiously large return (didn't know what size or color to get and it was only on sale for Black Friday so I just ordered everything...) They we're super understanding and quick - much appreciated!

I happen to like this Macys for their shoe department. If I can't find a pair of boots at DSW, I head here. 9 out of 10 times I hit the jackpot! Boom!!! Exactly what I was looking for. Today was that day. Angelo, was my shoe guy and he brought me out the 2 pairs of Steve Madden suede boots that caught my eye. Of course I fell in love with the more expensive pair...but you get what you pay for. The cheaper pair were very uncomfortable and my foot looked crooked in them if that is actually possible?!Angelo gave me 30% off plus I had a $20 credit which brought my boots down $80 off. Woo hoo! Highlights: *plenty of shoes *great sales*plenty of parking*EV charging (but pretty much always taken:(

I was shopping for a graduation gift and had a wonderful shopping experience with Jacob in Dior, the mens cologne section. I wasn't there long before he approached me and offered to show me the Dior Collection, Jacob is very knowledgeable with the products and was so helpful. I was in and out of there, he helped me choose the perfect gift. So professional and polite, I ended up buying two colognes! Sweet young man even gift wrapped both for me. I loved it! Thank you Jacob! Destiny also is great with customer service, she rang me up and let me know about my points which led me to the beauty section to purchase something for myself.

The worst store ever, poor customer service. They only have one kind race working there. Very uncomfortable place to go if you are black or brown person.

My 5 stars go to Jeanette at the juniors clothing today she went above and beyond to help us find a grad dress for my daughter and because of her it happened. She went to the back and took out a few other dresses since they weren't that many options. And 1 of those that she took out was the one my daughter fell in love with. Really appreciated her customer service and her politeness.

I often order Macy's online and then return whatever doesn't work at the Sherman Oaks Macy's. Charles in returns dept. is always pleasant, provides terrific customer service, and goes the extra mile. Management should promote him and have him train other employees to offer customer service and terrific, friendly attitude like Charles does.

Rude, uncooperative, unwilling to look for the product I needed. Womens' purse department. Go there and ask for what you want and then demand they help you find it. Horrible horrible experience. I ended up paying $250 for something that I did not want. If I had her name I'd post it here but she would not give it up. I ended up checking out at another counter in another department. Macy's is going downhill fast. The salespeople have no personal skills. Very Disappointed. FYI - I'm a 20 year Platinum Card holder with 850 credit score.
