Dr. Brokenthal helped us with our dog Mona with IVDD. We were lucky to see him same day and he called us to review his exam and recommendations. He was so kind and so compassionate. All the staff made this difficult situation a little bit easier. Reasonable price too.

I've seen dr. Nellete a few times. She's super informative. I took my rescue dog for his check up prior to adopting and she gave me sooo much information, he he really medicated and she really helped my decided I wanted to keep him. I really appreciate her time with Kingsley. Masis has also been a great help. He knows my dog Jarvis is hyperactive, Masis is very patient and caring. Now I ask for Masis and doctor nellete only. The other workers are great too but these two really know my dogs and my concerns for my dogs! Thank you a guys!!

I actually didn't get a chance to go there. But i called to get an appointment for a nail trim and they said they have to do a physical exam before that. Something around $67 for exam and $27 for nail trim. I said no thank you since i'm not an idiot! I found another office within half a mile of them which they charge only $18 and no appointment is required.

Sitting with my Lab Lily as the sun rises, after her surgery yesterday. Removal of a mast cell growth and it went very well. Managing her recovery with the very comprehensive instructions of Dr. Cox & the rest of the wonderful staff at Pet Doctors. Been coming for years with each of our Labs & it's so good to have them here for our beloved pets !

So lucky I found this vet office! I had just adopted 2 border collie puppies and they were sick with parasites and fleas and ticks. I called every single vet nearby and this was the only office available to take new clients within the same week. Even my regular vet couldn't see me until the following week. They saw me the next day and gave my dogs medicine and pulled off some of the ticks for me. Ever since then I have been continuing to see this vet. I haven't gone back to the old vet. My pups have received all of their shots here, flea tick and heart worm preventative and microchipped. They have been more than perfect with everything. (Even offering help and suggestions on potty training and kibble) Dr. Nellett was the vet who took care of us and even though we've never formally met in person (due to covid) she was extremely professional and helpful over the phone. The technicians are all extremely sweet and they are very preventative in safety measures with keeping their customers and employees safe during the pandemic. I've even recommended a few friends of mine to see this vet. They are good people here!!!

Just save yourself the future trouble and don't bring your pet here. What started as an amazing vet and staff has quickly decimated in the last 9 or so months. My dog had an accident in June, so I bring her in to have It fixed which I'm told they did. I noticed It still didn't look right but was assured everything was "looking good" as they love to say there. Well me being a normal human and trusting a vet I continued on and 1-2 months later noticed it's still not looking right. I decided to take my dog back and told 2 different people- one over the phone and one in person about the circumstances and situation. due to their clear miscommunication (cause of covid) they acted as if the accident had happened again. As I'm trying to explain this for a third/ fourth time to them I start getting nothing but attitude and short responses. Then the bill comes for the same procedure i had them do before and somehow it's magically double the price. I will pay whatever for my pet as I'm sure everyone would, if it's fair, justified, and warranted and they've completely taken advantage of that fact. I've been attempting to reach their office administrator for 3 days now and have gotten crickets. I've texted, emailed, and called. Extremely unfortunate and sad to see places like these try and take advantage of people and then when you catch them in the act or try to call them out, they not only lack compassion but they clearly could care less. Class act Pet Drs. Do yourself a favor and either take a little drive to conejo valley, or go down the street to Beverly oaks.

Just had a horrible experience with the Pet Doctors of Sherman Oaks. The Office staff was not responsive to our incoming calls both in the morning and in the afternoon! We were charged out incorrectly by $168.75! The wrong dog was brought to our car! The staff did wear masks, however, didn't seem to be familiar with the concept of what social distancing means. The office staff had a total disregard for our time in that we were waiting 30 minutes prior to our appointment per their instructions to drop off the dog and waiting 30 minutes after arriving to pick up our dog. I should note that the temperature was close to 100° in Sherman Oaks during this time! By the way, I was horrified to think that it could have been my dog that was brought out and loaded into another person's car who happened to be parked on their lot. After I told her the dog was not mine, I watched, as she went up to another car with the dog prior to realizing her error and taking the dog back into the office! Needless to say, I was noticeably upset!!!

The Pet Doctors of Sherman Oaks is the best and we feel so fortunate to have found them and be in the hands of The best doctors in the valley for our pet. We are so grateful for the entire team. Dr. Cox has been our saving grace with our 6 month golden retriever mix. She is so knowledgeable, kind, genuine, and spends so much time with you to answer any questions you have. We don't know what we would do without her or Dr. Brookenthal who has all seen our pup when Dr. Cox has been out of the office. He is also incredible doctor and person. We ran into a situation where our spay was organized at a p different clinic while back so before we found the pet doctors and she was having some minor complications to her surgery so immediately went to see Dr. Cox to evaluate . Due to Dr. Cox she is on the Road to recovery. We can ask a million questions sometimes and be a pain lol but they just continue to answer them and give us as much time we need so thank you for treating our pup with as much love as we do! If you want the best vet in town go here, it's amazing anyone would ever rank them less than 5 stars!! I would give them 6 if I could , Thanks again!!

I repeatedly have issues with this place. Pre-coronavirus as well as currently which is why I have decided to not return. I have two young puppies and we wanted to put them on an amazing nutritional diet with some raw ingredients. The vet was rude and almost mocked us that young people think it is a "trend" to go raw but to stick to Purina. Every time I ask about any other food they go back to Purina. It's frustrating because I want to make sure my puppies are not only looking great because of their food, but feeling good too and I have a right to ask these questions without judgement. Recently, I called and asked for flea and tick medication but they wanted to re-weigh my dogs. I asked when to come in and they said 4pm but I get there, call like the sign says and then have to wait over an hour to track down someone! I actually asked the guy next to me in the parking lot to tell them if they come out that I've been waiting. BEST PART.... found out they weighed the dogs wrong. They said my dogs were 10lbs less than they were because that night I decided to go to pet smart and use their weigher cuz I was shocked that my dogs weighed so little. Their scale was wrong. When I called to notify them that, they assumed it was my fault and that nothing was wrong with their scale. Don't forget, this was a weight for two medications! After realizing I needed to get my own flea medications because the vet gave the wrong one due to the wrong weight brackets, they kept denying my chewy prescription because of the wrong weight so I'm done!

My dog got sick and took her there. Vet said more than likely ear infection, but although she said she recommended to do blood test but I was going to wait and see,Spent few hundred dollars with 2 meds. Few hours later , she got really sick and I had to take her to 24 hr emergency vet Long story short , it has nothing to do with her ear infection, She was in Addisonian crisis. I almost lost her. I wanted to rerun the meds we never opened but they said no. It was my mistake that I didn't consent for blood work. According to them. But good thing, they probably don't have capability to treat my dog's addisonian crisis, I am happy my dog is alive and back to normal.

Wonderful service from a friendly and informative team! We have a 9 year old French Bulldog who needs to have some tooth extractions. Dr Cox was recommended to me by another Frenchie owner and I'm so glad we took their advice. Due to COVID-19, they had us in wait the parking lot until a very nice vet tech came to get our girl. At first I was concerned about not going in, but honestly it was a lot less stressful to sit in the parking lot than a typical vet waiting room. After she did her exam, Dr Cox gave me a call and talked about her findings and treatment options. Then, I got another call from the desk confirming my billing. They txted me a link I was able to pay on my phone right there! Very efficient and modern. We are scheduling the dental surgery for later this week. I would just like to say Thank You to everyone at The Pet Doctors for all of your clarity and cheerful support. I'm really happy with our experience.

I had the worst customer service experience today. I had an appointment for 2:20 and arrived a couple minutes late. I got my dog, Otis, out of the car and walked him to the entrance and read the sign on the door: Do not enter the building; call us. Due to COVID they want to come out and get your pet, which makes perfect sense; I just wish they'd told me when I made the appointment yesterday. No biggie, so I called and the receptionist asked if it was an emergency or could she put me on hold. I said "I'm outside" because I know how long being on hold can be, but they put me on hold. When she came back I told her again I was outside and she asked if I had an appointment with a bit of attitude that made me think I was dealing with someone who wasn't having a good day. When I gave her my info she said they'd come out and get Otis. It was 98 degrees outside, but I didn't get back in my car with the AC on because I thought they would come out soon. Over the next 15 minutes, 2 workers came out with dogs for other customers, and both times I was told someone would be out to pick up Otis. Finally, after waiting for 20 minutes, someone came out and got Otis from me. I was standing next to my red car, parked in the shade, when she got Otis. She said she'd call me when he was done in 15-20 minutes. I figured they had my number because I had just called them to let them know I was here, but the main reason I didn't think there would be a problem is because she had just picked up Otis from me in the parking lot just 30 feet from the front door, and I wasn't going anywhere. How wrong I was. I heard nothing from them for over an hour. I was reading and listening to the radio, and when I finally saw how long it had been I thought to call. I was told they had called "the number on file" 50 minutes ago (and, of course, had not gotten a response, because the number they called wasn't mine, but that didn't seem to concern them enough to see if I was still waiting 30 feet from the front door). A number of workers had delivered pets to other cars idling in the parking lot, but no one put any effort into either seeing what number I had used to call them when I arrived, or to see if the guy in the red car was waiting outside. I was extremely exasperated with them, and received a cursory apology from the veterinarian, who was more concerned about the fact he couldn't use my phone to confirm I was who I said I was because my phone had just died. Never mind I was the guy who handed Otis off to them in the first place, and it was my name on the credit card I offered him for payment. That last point convinced him. I had to wait only about 8 more minutes for them to finally bring Otis out, without any more apology or interest in how they might learn how to offer service that doesn't infuriate their customers!

Pet Drs of Sherman Oaks is great. The entire staff is on it from the phone intake/questions and scheduling to the time you leave their doors. And Dr Brookenthal is amazing!! My dog LOVES him. We've seen a lot of great vets over the years, yet he is by far the most thorough and also most caring. In addition, I really appreciated that accompanied with his (spot on) recommendations, he gave various options to suite our comfort level. He definitely knows what he's doing and truly cares about all involved during, and after the visit. We appreciate it all and would highly recommend Dr Brookenthal and Pet Doctors!
