I just tried my new heels (Godiva chic 4’’, platform 1’’) and I have never felt so safe. They are super stable, and even with the platform, you still have contact with the floor / feel the floor. On a side note, I was super impressed by the level of Dance Happy‘s Customer service. They ensure you order the right size and keep you updated with the order process / delivery.Thank you!!

I love this dance shoe store! I call the store around 6:30 PM and the owner answered and took his time to help me find an amazing pair of shoes! I hope I always have issues with shoes because my feet are wide however his shoes are perfect! The owner was so patient and it literally took me two hours to find a good pair of shoes and he recommended the ones in the picture! They have platform, comfort inn soul and our a perfect heel with platform! It is real suede and so comfortable! If you want a good pair of shoes please come to the store!

I bought a pair of shoes but the quality was not great and they caused my feet blisters. I went back to return or exchange the next day and they were very mean about it and almost causing an argument, not wanting to help. They refused to take back the shoes. It feels like they just want to make money and don't actually care about whether or not the shoe is good for you. And they don't treat you very well. Made me sad and was an unpleasant experience and I lost a lot of money on bad shoes. I like stores that are friendly and treat you nicely not argumentative. if they were nice to me when I tried to return the shoe I would have been more accepting but because they weren't it makes me sense that they do not have customers best intention in mind. I hope that they can explain clearly to customers about their policy for returns up front and be nicer overall.

This is the best dance show store there is! Ali and his team design and manufacture the shoes from their own private factory. Shoes are made with light weight material for swift dance moves that can be sustained for long periods of time. These dance shoes are worn by some of the biggest stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Nicki Minaj. Great quality shoe, I like to weird mine with jeans or dresses (doesn't just have to be a dance shoe) stop by this shop if your in the area, totally worth it!

Elegance Shoes are simply the best. I've been dancing for over 15 years and have purchased custom handmade shoes and factory manufactured shoes. Elegance Shoes are expensive for my budget, but absolutely worth it. I'll save up money to buy one pair of these shoes vs. two pairs of any other brand. That's because Elegance Shoes have outlasted every other brand I've owned, and the comfort is unmatched! I've worn Elegance Shoes on average from 2 to 7 years depending on frequency of use. I recently visited the store because I had to bid a tearful goodbye to a well-loved pair of the most comfortable platform salsa sandals that I wore faithfully every week for salsa and tango. I got to check out the new designs and spoke with the owner, Ali. I've spoken with Ali maybe 3 times total in those 15 years, and I've appreciated how he thinks about shoe design and his continued changes to the design to improve comfort. His store is a hike for me since he's in Sherman Oaks but well worth it for any dancer. I always recommend his shoes above all others.

I had a good first impression of this place as they seemed to have a wide selection. But quality assessment + customer service experience = 2 stars :( I bought a dance shoe from the rack where they sell shoes they don't make themselves (which is.. uh.. most stores). I paid just below $100 for a dance shoe.... from a shop that specializes in... dance shoes (not Payless lol). I spent a good deal of time making a choice and trying on shoes, talking with the owner guy, etc. I was surprised when one of the straps came unglued on my 2nd hour of light wear. I'm a dancer and my dancer friends mentioned a dance shoe even of average quality should last 8 hours of wear everyday for 3 months before something like that might finally happen! I can deal with a shoe breaking and having to bring it for repair and what not. The reason I dock 3 stars is the owner guy's way of handling me letting him know what happened. His response was defensive, unapologetic, and put all the responsibility on the customer for having this experience. I'll state his argument which was repeated robotically and which will likely be repeated here again if he responds to this review. His stance is "that's why we have big signs saying sold as is", "that's why we have a half off rack", "we don't know how people treat the shoes that cause them to break." What he is failing to validate is that a shoe that fails after the first 2 hours of light wear IS the shop's responsibility. Most shops don't make their own shoes, but will take care of the customer by conveying, "I'm sorry... yeah a dance shoe shouldn't break that easily, even when it's not the most expensive shoe we have. And I hear you that you only wore it lightly, of course that's NOT your fault. I take responsibility for the products I sell in my store of unknown quality, because that is the risk I take as a business owner. What can I do to make it right?" The guy did reluctantly agree to gluing it, but I did not feel truly invited to bringing the shoe in for repair. He also said if I did, I "wouldn't be allowed" to make another purchase from the particular rack I bought from. Okay, so your customer service strategy is... punishment?? lol Again, a shoe breaks. You repair it. It's not about all that. It's the attitude lacking accountability. Lacking acknowledgment that this is not the customers fault. That it's not reasonable or "okay" that a shoe came unglued within 2 hours from a supposedly high quality shop. The irony?? This simple accountability and acknowledgment would have earned the business 2 more stars with 1 docked for the surprisingly low quality shoe! I wasn't asking for a refund or anything. Just a customer care attitude. Rather than a repeat of justifications why it was a-okay that this happened. I will be honest to my dancer friends about my experience of this shop.
