If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I was only there for a matter of minutes and faced so much disrespect from the big old guy who worked there. I politely asked a few questions which was met with sarcasm and rudeness. I would not recommend going here unless u personally want to see the disrespect.

Save your money. Save your time. Save your air. Just was in the area and wanted to check out this bead store as there are not that many in the valley. Upon walking in there was no person present so I said hello hello and a large man emerged from the back of the store. I started looking around and he offers me a try to put things in. It was just a waste of time. It's literally a lot of random beads and some good stuff but way way way overpriced. It's says 30 - 50 % off but I think that's just for show. Some stuff is weighed because it's silver? $27 and change for 8 small circle letter charms. I intended to buy more but the prices were ridiculous. There is barely any room to move around the store. It is very dusty and murky. And to top it off each 2 foot section has a security camera in a place as small as a bathroom. It was like a prison. I won't be going back.

Very impressed with this place, very beautiful wares and amazing selection. I didn't know what to expect, a bunch of plastic beads? apparently everything is made out of precious and semi precious stones, this isn't some arts and crafts bead store lol. My girlfriend found a bunch of really beautiful beads to make a necklace for a wedding we are going to next month, and everything was on discount as well. This is a great place to take your daughter/wife/girlfriend, and a cool place to make a gift for someone special. Gentleman at the store was very kind and helpful as well. Thanks!!

I just started jewelry making. This bead shop was near my area. My first experience I was told my items were 30% off and when I got home the discount was not reflective. The second time I came in, I really noticed the prices were more than online and I asked about a specific type of hoop earrings being available in sterling silver - the shop owner said everything he sells is sterling 925. The hoop in question was in the "silver" section had no 925 marking and was dirty and tarnished. I asked if everything is SS why are some sections labeled as SS Silver and some just "silver" He said it's just a label, everything I sell is 925. That is not true. I will not be coming back.

The owner has always been helpful and kind! I've come back several times and bought tons of beads and it's always the highest quality and best price in town. I've gone everywhere in Los Angeles and this shop is by far the best. Highly recommended!

My favorite place to go for Semi precious Beads and precious Beads. They have a really big variety of beads, Pearls, and all the supply for jewelry making. Love this place and would definitely recommend it!

I've been shopping at Crown Beads for a number of years now, and during these precarious times, here's why I, still... A reliable business, run by a very personable and friendly owner. A neighborhood establishment worthy to be patronized. Fantastic quality items from floor to ceiling, and fair discounts and prices! But the BEST reason in these times?... The PERFECT opportunity to create something beautiful either for yourself, of for someone special. Spend a little, or spend a lot, you'll still get your money's worth!!! I've been shopping at this store for the last 5+ years and I have never left this shop disappointed. Jack always has a solution for all my jewelry/bead needs. He's always honest and straightforward with his customers! Yes, I could go downtown and buy some of the pieces but the experience at this mom and pop shop is unparalleled! From beads, to findings, chains, and much more! This store is a true gem! :)

This is a very good place for beads and jewelry to be made and I myself have made a couple of very beautiful things for a lot lower cost than I would have had to buy the 4 and had lots of fun making them and they will give you some help if you need it.

Crown Beads is fantastic! Jack, the owner, is especially the greatest asset. He, very kindly, has helped me out by answering all of my questions. He helped me find what I wanted, and he has very patiently shown me different techniques and taught me how to tie the knots that I needed. He has everything that you could possibly need! I've made some gorgeous silver and/or gold bracelets for myself and now I've got the confidence to make some holiday gifts. Thank you, Crown Beads & thank you, Jack!
