What a dump. Carpet looks dirty and feels dirtier with bare feet. Room is noisy from highway traffic and plumbing. Really needs a remodel/refresh. I will not stay here in the future.

I had an appointment nearby, and this hotel was perfect. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The staff checked in on me multiple times on my way to my room! The rooftop pool is decent too. There's a restaurant inside- morning coffee was a must. I will definitely be back.

Very nice people and a decent location for where I was going at least.

Arrogant attitude from some skinny guy at the desk. What does he think he is?

Good location for work in local area. The downside is if you need to shower you have to let hot water run for a wasteful 20 minutes and that’s lukewarm water.Walkability: Lots of restaurants near by

The hotel is in a good location (next to the highway). It is clean, but an older hotel that is a bit run down in the rooms. The lobby is nicer than the rooms. The service is quite good and people are very attentive. The rooms have a bit of noise from the highway nearby. Even though I had a balcony, it was sealed shut with silicon (see pic). I'd imagine all the rooms are the same. The rooms had a fridge (empty), a coffee machine, a couple of glasses. No water bottles (you need to buy them from the cafe/bar). Carpeted floors. Dirty dirty windows that are hard to look out of for anything.

We usually stay here for our sons' debate tournament nearby. Not my favorite place to stay (would not come here on vacation) but it gets the job done for us for a debate tournament. The rooms are dated and our sliding drawers were not tracking correctly. But the beds were comfy. We were on the 11th floor and so there was no street noise. We did use the jacuzzi (rather small) and it being on the 4th floor was rather loud with street noise. The first floor restaurant is functional but there are other better options nearby (Ihop, corner bakery, etc). The nearby California Chicken Cafe is very good. But it is convenient to the major highways and so we'll keep coming back. There are in the process of renovating this hotel and I'm hoping for some major improvements.

I had an exceptional experience staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Sherman Oaks. The staff was incredibly helpful, respectful, and courteous, attending to every need with a smile. The hotel was impressively clean and well-presented. The spacious rooms, complete with a full couch and work desk, made my stay even more comfortable. The immaculate pool was a highlight, and I highly recommend this hotel for those seeking a safe place to stay. The only drawback was the absence of a microwave in the rooms and slightly higher pricing.

Fantastic customer service, indulging my inability to choose between Old Fashion & Manhattan. Behold, the Old Manhattan. Delicious.

I had promised a large room and got a small one. I was in a rush and didn't have time to complain. I asked to be away from the freeway and got the freeway. The bathroom door didn't close right.

Nicer, but older hotel in Sherman Oaks. Rooms were spacious, although there was dried toothpaste in the sink (eww) otherwise the room was clean, parking was very good. Nice old school Marriott lobby. Restaurant was way overpriced for the selections, we skipped it after the first meal. Elevators are so tiny for a hotel like this. Otherwise a good option for this end of the valley.

I think anyone who looks at these photos would find them somewhat disgusting. The rooms are dated, circa late 80's or 90' - very dark. Couple that with a "window" that is dirty and tinted makes the rooms feel claustrophobic despite their size. Rooms need to be improved upon as well as the overall general interior.Rooms: Need to be improved!

Jon the manager was amazing in helping with our wedding rehearsal luncheon in the conference rooms that were big enough for 100 people and also smooth service in handling our guests for wedding weekend. Great hotel choice for a Skirball wedding.
