“I'm not sure what some of people who wrote one-star reviews are expecting. For $10-15 a wash, you get a solid cleaning for the price. You're not going to get a perfectly spotless car (though it gets rid of 95%+ of the dirtiness), you're going to have some dried water marks unless you towel dry it afterwards yourself, and you're not going to have employees who will coddle your way through a car wash as if you're the next best thing after sliced bread.What you will get is a quick, relatively cheap car wash that does the job well enough.”

“Been coming to Sherman Oaks Car Wash ever since I moved to Sherman Oaks....and guess what? That's about 10 years ago! Now look...this might be the best car wash in the world, but it's located conveniently off Ventura and they always get the job done. If you have a special request for your car during the car wash process, then speak up to the staff! When I drop off my car at the vacuum zone, I kindly ask the workers to also vacuum my trunk area. If you don't emphasize , they might not get it. Sometimes if multiple guys are vacuuming my car, I will give them an extra buck or two so they can give it a little special touch. I usually come during weekdays around 11 am or noon , and it's better than coming on a busy weekend day. But if you don't have a choice due to having a corporate work slave 9-5 type of schedule then I understand. I also got a rewards punch card here! So after 12 washes, next one is free. I've already redeemed this card 5 times.In 2015, car wash was still $11.99 with coupon. Now it's $18.99 with coupon! So yes times have changed with inflation and post-COVID life, but at the end of the day you need to get your car washed in Los Angeles and so this your centralized and convenient spot!!”

“I appreciate the service writers don't give you the "hard" sell upon arrival. Always do a great job detailing after the wash. Just wish they wouldn't raise prices so frequently.”

“I like this place for washes and the exterior waxing, but save your money on the "interior detailing" package for $59.99 and just get your car washed with the usual interior cleaning they always do, because it's exactly the same, but for less money. There is no actual "detailing" with the more expensive one. All the slats on vents were left completely dusty, corners in every pocket not cleaned etc. They basically vacuum, and spray oil all over the inside to make it look shiny. There were many areas where it didn't get rubbed in, so it looked like rain drops on the plastic parts. And there were several areas completely missed, which looked odd next to the shiny sections. I buffed it all out at home with a clean cloth, and took care of all the missed dusty areas myself. Anyway save yourself the money. The regular car wash with interior vacuuming and wiping is exactly the same result for much less, so you won't mind as much when so much is missed.”
