I feel like their customer service has gone downhill over the last few years. When I first started service with them, they were so kind and willing to provide great service. I'd get a reminder call when my tank was getting low on propane to remind me to fill the tank. I have ALWAYS paid in cash, never credit. I got a call about three weeks ago from the rudest customer service girl who must have been out of her mind that day that kept repeating herself like a parrot that I would no longer receive calls that my propane was getting low, and I'd have to pay cash. I said I already pay cash, then asked how much propane was left in the tank. She said 30% and kept repeating that I'd have to pay cash. I'd had my fill of her and snapped back and told her to quit repeating herself, I always pay cash, quit telling me that I can only pay cash. I called on 4/15/19 to get 100 gals of propane, with my CARD THAT WAS ON FILE, NEVER ASKED FOR CREDIT. She was pleasant this time, but after our last encounter, I was leary of her. She said that we still have 30% left in our tank and the guy would be out on Monday 4/22/19. Which was fine since we supposedly still had 30%. We were able to take hot showers that day. Tuesday, 4/16/19, we ran out of gas. I thought since they were coming out in a week, I'd just use one of my own tanks for propane. It didn't work, so I boiled water for a hot bath, and doing the same until Friday. They came today, 4/17/19, which was a surprise to me. I got a call and said that the tank was empty. Of course it was, you told me though that I had 30% left on Monday. My son went outside to take our old tank off for them and discovered that they put some sort of cap on the connection to the propane tank so no one could connect the line except them and charge me $85 bucks so they could come and light the hot water heater. As if no one else in the world could do it except them. I work hard, 10 to 12 hour days, and I get a rude company who locks things as if we're going to steal something from them when I paid over $300 of my own hard earned money for the gas, gas that I now own. Plus I pay $40 a year for maintenance of the tank. They have certainly changed over the last year and especially this year. And I'm also thinking that I didn't get all my gas, and they took the monitor off that told me I had 30%...hmmm....because it was probably broken and was reading that I had 30% when in actuality the tank was empty or they lied. And I pay an extra $40 a year to maintain the tank and it's components that were broken. The company used to be so good to me, it's terrible the customer service has gone downhill. They don't seem to care much about people, just getting money.
