I am always pleased with the cuts that I get from Jenni at Blossoms, and I'm very picky because my hair has a natural wave and also some issues. It's hard to cut and I've had some pretty awful cuts that made me feel miserable because I couldn't style them! ( you know the feeling !!) I never worry about getting a great cut with Jenni ! I just let her work her magic and the cuts that I get look great and are practically effortless to style. I highly recommend this salon !

I did some review checking but still went into Jenni's Blossom Salon blind...with hair almost down to my butt and wanting a super short cut. She did an amazing job, I LOVE it. She let me know she'd be happy to adjust if it I wanted, as all good salons do, but she's different - when I asked, she fit me in right away and not only did the adjustment I asked for but did another blowout on top! Great hair cut, she's fun to be around for the appointment and a lovely person, and I now finally found the right person after some bad cuts in other places around here (I just moved here about a year ago).

I’ve been a client of Jenni’s for years, long before she opened her own salon. When she opened The Blossom Salon I was so excited for her! Jenni is an absolutely professional businessperson, an incredibly talented hairdresser, and has become a dear friend. I regularly receive compliments on my hair and always say that I just grow it, Jenni does all the other stuff that makes it look so good! She’s booked out far in advance, so hurry and book your appointment!Services: Hair colouring

DO NOT TRUST JENNI HUSE OF JUSTJENNISTYLE STYLE. ZERO stars would be more accurate. This person is the most unprofessional vendor I’ve ever dealt with. After taking my deposit for a a wedding (even before shelter-in-place was mandated), I never heard back from her and she continued to charge me for services she would never complete. After trying to cancel with her for weeks via phone (left multiple voicemails) and email, she never got back to me. I had to ask my fiancé to call from his phone and she answered immediately and told us she wasn’t at a computer and would get back to me later that day. This was more than four weeks ago and I have yet to hear from her again yet she continued to charge me. Not only are her communications littered with typos and misspellings, but her lack of communication is unprofessional and frankly disrespectful. Meanwhile, she is posting to Instagram all day every day. Please save yourself the headache, and choose a different vendor. DO NOT TRUST THIS PERSON.

I’ve been going to Jenni for years, and regularly get compliments on my hair. It’s all due to Jenni! All I do is grow it - she cuts, colors, highlights, does all the rest! It’s always a fun chat too! So happy for her and her new salon, and all the best for the future!

I headed to The Blossom Salon with high hopes for my haircut with Jenni, especially after reading a number of positive Yelp reviews and learning that the salon uses Bumble & Bumble products. After moving back to California from the East Coast, I was hoping to find my new "home salon." After showing up five minutes early for my 1pm appointment, I was eventually greeted by Jenni's assistant - who proceeded to tell me that Jenni was running behind. Life happens, and I had a free afternoon, so I was happy to sit and wait. After ten minutes, the assistant came back and said she would just wash my hair - this was my first red flag. How would Jenni know how to cut my hair by only seeing it wet? Shouldn't I be receiving a consultation as a first-time client? Yet, I trusted the process and went ahead to get my hair washed. After having my hair wrapped in a towel, I proceeded to sit in the chair for another 20 minutes. As I sat, my hair had already started to dry and I was fairly uncomfortable with the damp towel on my back. By 1:35pm, Jenni finally arrived and introduced herself. She seemed confident and eager to begin as I explained that I was hoping for a simple trim, preserving long layers cut bluntly at the bottom - I explained that my hair naturally waves in such a way that sharp angles and razor cuts never work. I also explained that the precise layering helps to gently thin the very ends of my hair, so it sits properly. Jenni begins to cut, and I'm not able to notice anything out-of-the ordinary (it's just a trim) until she gets past the initial blow-dry and starts hacking at my hair with the thinning shears. And I mean hacking - she just picked up bunches of my hair and ran the shears through from above-ear-level all the way down. And sadly, once it started, there was no going back - my hair came off in 4-5 quick, chaotic, and painful swoops. The worst part is that Jenni was constantly distracted during my appointment - so much so that she was standing over me on the phone during my cut. I felt like my presence wasn't important to her, and that I was just another customer to rush through in an attempt to get back on schedule. She styled my hair and I could immediately feel the decrease in volume in my normally thick hair - it was like she gave me a mullet. Moreover, there was no rhyme-or-reason to the cut; my layers didn't sit nicely, my hair lacked definition, I had a ton of ridiculously short baby hairs, and my ends were totally wrecked from having the thinning shears torn through them. I was rattled and desperately wanted to go anywhere to get a fix, but decided nothing could be done until I grew out some of the damage. Fast forward to last week (three months after this appointment) and my new stylist picks up my hair with a look of horror. She inquires who inflicted the damage and notes that my last cut left my ends in terrible shape. If you're interested in The Blossom Salon, I encourage you to trust your gut and leave the salon the moment you feel like you're not being heard or cared for - I certainly wish that I had. Fingers crossed that this was a bad day, but I won't be returning.

I had my hair repaired with an amazing cut by Nicola. She took the time and explained to me what my best options were. My hair was DESTROYED by a bad cut, I tried to fix it myself, NEVER a good idea. Nicola very diplomatically told me it might take growing it out and cutting it several more times to correct the last cut. She really knew what she was doing, and I felt like my hair was perfect after she was done. I had asked her how long she had been doing hair and was shocked to learn that she has only been at this salon for less than a month. They are SO lucky to have her, she is smart, funny and very, very talented. She has a client forever with me!
