I hired this guy a few years ago when we were sure there was mold in our rental. he told us there was no mold. 1 month after moving my neighbor told me there was a construction team removing several large peices of wood covered in black mold from the bathroom he tested! Very disappointing after paying him over $600 to locate the mold issue. Don't give this bozo your money.

Rob was extremely responsive and quick to do a mold testing at our rental property. Very reasonable pricing and I appreciate that there is no vested interest in what the results are- as opposed to getting testing done by companies that offer remediation services and could questionably alter results. Highly recommend.

nice man, BUT he gave my house an all clear. I remained sick, so we called in a Bill Weber G.C., CR, CMRS - Avelar. Our ceiling, 3 bathrooms, a three story fireplace and our entire bottom floor was full of mold. I would call Sherlock Homes incompetent at best.

I am a Realtor in Albany California. We called Sherlock because they were recommended by our home inspector. I represented the buyers for a home in Albany.The seller had gotten a mold inspection which was not very good, and frankly was written to frighten any possible buyer, and to engage the mold company to come on and sell their mitigation services.Sherlock was able to come to the house, and do another inspection, and explain to my clients what was actually happening, and tell them what was of concern and what not to worry about. Most importantly they were able to communicate understanding to my clients.This enabled my clients to act with knowledge and make informed decisions.Sherlock was very professional, and it was very easy to set up an appointment. They arrived on time, and produced an informative report. I will use them again.

Steve is the consummate inspector. He is extremely knowledgeable and has integrity. He cares about people's longterm health. He not only discovers the problems, but offers exact solutions. He has been there for me for multiple house issues, including mold and smoke damage, Highly recommend!

Thank you Steve! I ordered flooring online and it arrived smelling like mold. The company was not particularly easy to work with to get the refund but Steve tested and confirmed the mold and I was refunded in full.
