Great selection, friendly, helpful workers, reasonable prices, locally owned.

Thanks for the response, Brandi. Here is the Power Greens from Lucky, marked at $5. Pacific Market price was $6.99 last week. That's 25% difference.

So disappointed in their produce section recently. Soft cucumbers, moldy tomatoes, old & tired lettuce. Safeway actually has better produce.

There are some good prices on things we eat and we appreciate the senior discount on Tuesdays. However, the customer service could be a lot better. Several times now when there are long check-out lines, a man has opened up a new register and taken the last shopper in line over to the new register to check out immediately, while others who have been waiting longer are still in line. That's just rude. It doesn't take a lot of intelligence to realize that this behavior is unfair and eventually customers will go elsewhere.

this use to be my go to market. now under new management, the prices are absurdly high bordering on price gauging, the stock is low and less varied. still super friendly staff but on whole not what it use to be. sad.

amazing place to shop, incredibly kind, customer service, and very well-made sandwiches, I recommend a long sandwich. Shop you're 100%. I love it! location is perfect next to pizza and a hardware store to fulfill all of your needs! very good ambience.

When we first moved to Sebastopol, Pacific Market was our "go to" grocery store. We really enjoyed its friendly service and community feel. I would have given it 5 stars then. But unfortunately, no more! Something has dramatically changed in the last 3 months or so. The prices have gone sky high. We saw $8 for a head of broccoli (what?) and corn priced at $2/ear over the Fourth of July weekend. Such price gouging. We went to Safeway, and got 5 ears of corn for $1.00. Come on Pacific what happened to you?

Pacific Market has always been a 5 star market. Until today. The produce department was a huge disappointment. They had all of the usual produce they usually have (a great selection) but it was clearly OLD. The green beans were limp with black spots and dried ends and I went through container after container of boxed lettuce that was all brown. They still have their friendly helpful staff but something was way off. So off I'm wondering if it has changed hands? Luckily there is still Whole Foods and Andy's Market in town for fresh produce but I'm really hoping this was just an off weekend. I've always loved Pacific Market.

Don't go here if you use ebt. On more than one occasion my ebt card has not worked. The cashier tried multiple times but to no avail. Both times I had hundreds of dollars on the card. And on this last occasion I had shopped the day before at another local grocery store with no issues. I even spoke to the manager this time and he unapologetically said it was a one off! Either there machines are messed up or the cashiers don't know what their doing! I try my best to support local business but they won't be getting mine any longer.

This place is very different from the other supermarkets in town. In some cases it does not always have everything I want, but it does have the best hot bar in my opinion. And, in my opinion, it has very good check out people, they always engage you, say hello and ask you how you’re doing and so forth. Today I was helped by Autumn, and she has helped me before, she is a very pleasant person, and I don’t know the names of the others, but I would say that they outshine all of the cash register check out people in the town of Sebastopol, and by that I will say, it includes Whole Foods, Safeway, Lucky , and any other… They just make an extra effort and it’s very noticeable. This hot bar is unbeatable. Look at this delicious fresh salmon, it would not be cheaper. If you made it yourself, super convenient, healthy keto, delicious meal.

I just moved here and have been searching for THE market. I must recommend, Pacific market. It is clean, well stocked and the customer service is a 6! I always come away from the market feeling like the philosophy of excellent customer service started in this store. Here are 2 examples; I asked about an item they didn't carry and the manager took down my number. He called me 5 days later and told me they had ordered it and it was on the shelf. I was so surprised at the follow up. The second, I needed ancho chiles to make mole sauce and they had chilies with no names. This clerk went down aisles, trying to find info for me and reported back to me twice. It's nice to see that this market prides itself in excellence!

I used to love coming to this market... And would get prepared meals at least 2 to 3 times a week. Lately the food doesn't even look appetizing... And they make the same thing over and over. I wonder if the chef changed. I miss the experienced people who would check out my groceries, the market has changed so much... And I think I'm going to be forced to find a new place to shop. It's just not the same, I'm so sorry to say.

As a tourist from FL I was continually surprised at the prices. But the produce looked great, the food was thoughtfully presented with lots of to go items. Flowers were gorgeous and very clean.
