Shelley is wonderful! I've been entrusting my hair to her for 20 years and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. I highly recommend Main Street Hair Co and Shelley -- she's a true pro.

Let's say I'm an fifty something male that still enjoys a very full head of hair and I am VERY picky about it. That being said I have been here several times over the last couple years.

Adorable little shop in the heart of Sebastopol I have been coming here for years as Shelly really understands what I like and how I wear my hair. She not only listens to how I like my hair but how my day went. I catch myself chatting away like I haven't seen my best friend in weeks. She's super friendly and the cozy little shop is so comfortable. In the summer I go light with highlights and then we go dark in the winter. I come in about every 6-8 weeks and am always impressed. She helps me keep my hair looking good AND healthy. (Is hard to go after years of bleaching) I highly suggest you check out this shop!

Found this place when searching online and they were able so fit me in last minute. Best manicure and pedicure I've had! They also had great service and the facility was really clean and nice. Highly recommend!

After no real apology for making me wait outside in the cold for half an hour, my stylist booked another appointment for 30 minutes later in front of me and then kept them waiting as well. (Also 30 minutes makes me feel rushed and unimportant which is evidenced by the end result...) There were also no tissues or toilet paper for the sniffles I got from being cold?? I was then made to feel self conscious multiple times, had a wet sleeve continuously slapping me in the face during shampooing, and no awareness at my annoyance and discomfort throughout the whole process. I was trapped there with wet hair and continuous unwarranted advice that I said I wasn't interested in multiple times. (A feat for someone with social anxiety) Then a half-assed blow dry that left me with frizzy ends and a scratched forehead. Didn't even offer me a look at the back but I just wanted to run away to cry anyway. Haircuts are a sacred time to pamper yourself and make yourself feel good but I feel like I gave away my money for an experience that I should have walked away from after the numerous warning signs. This is the first review I've ever felt compelled to leave and I am just so sad.
