This is one of the best nurseries I have ever been to. Truly a hidden gem tucked in between the gorgeous farmlands of Sonoma county?
I'll admit I may be a little biased since they seem to specialize in the kind of stuff I personally am most interested in? but for any other succulent and bonsai enthusiasts out there definitely keep this place bright on your radar if you're ever passing through the historic gravenstein highway just south of Sebastopol?
What makes this place stand out to me especially is that they propagate their stock in house? They have a few greenhouses packed full of gorgeous, some even more rare plants, and plenty more blocked off from customers with even more stock that they rotate out throughout the year. Just peeking in I could see such amazingly grown succulents just waiting for their time to soak in the sunshine of your garden/collection?
I feel so lucky to have moved just up the street from here. I'll have to do my best to pace myself? but even just coming through and admiring the rows upon rows of vibrant bonsais in such pleasing plantings will have you leaving so inspired and filled with love for beautiful plants?

Very well-maintained nursery tucked away on the south side of town just a couple minutes from Gravenstein Highway South. They have an amazing collection of healthy plants, succulents, cacti, bonsai trees as well as numerous greenhouses you can walk through filled with all kinds of potted plants. Their selection is varied and not what you would normally see at other nurseries. I've noticed their plants at other stores so they wholesale as well. When the weather is nice, it is a peaceful quiet place to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the property. Their employees are always very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It's hard to walk away without a new green friend in your arms. Parking could be tight on Saturdays. Open limited days and hours.

Lots of items to select from. Large nursery. Kinda expensive. They usually supply the plants for several nurseries throughout the Bay Area such as Katsura Gardens. The couple was nice to show us the lay of the land for where the different plants are located.

I have been coming here for over a year now. They have fair prices, excellent plants, friendly staff, and lovely dogs on site. They are eager to share knowledge and talk bonsai and succulent.

If you are into succulents and cacti, this is the place for you. The owner has been there a long time, and is very knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable, and selections are ample.

I had this great idea to give Bonsai plants as gifts to a team that helped with a campaign. Little did I know how difficult it would be to actually find a nursery that specialized in Bonsai. I searched most of the east bay and finally got a few recommendations from expert plant growers to head up to Sebastopol and visit Lone Pine Gardens. Almost an hour and a half drive and the entrance is just a gate off on Lone Pine with only a couple of places to even park on the narrow road. But definitely worth the drive if you're looking for a variety of Bonsai at different stages and for incredibly reasonable prices. Lone Pine has a fantastic variety of species, stages, and styles of Bonsai plants and trees. What I liked l most was the variety of prices and sizes. Most places charge an arms and a leg but an early bonsai here is close to half the price at other places. The bonus was the nice variety of succulents. A bit out of the way, but the best place to shop for bonsai and browse succulents and other potted plants.

A really great nursery for all of your bonsai needs. Really friend married couple own and work here. They were more than happy to help us with any questions we had. They sell bonsais, starters, trees, succulents, cacti and bonsai pots. Great selection!
