Jerry and Dons had provided & installed my submerged domestic water pump system, and two high capacity fire sprinkler and fire hose pumps on our property for our fire rebuild 4 years ago. They performed perfectly. Two of the pumps were compromised when they sat in excess water. This was an urgent situation.First, the response to my service call was very timely.Second, they worked with me to determine fastest and most economical way to restore service- repair vs replacement. They communicated quickly, sometimes by calling me other times by email, explained and priced the alternatives, including lead time, all in a very timely manner. Each person I dealt with is professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and understanding.I have always had excellent experiences with the firm and highly recommend them. I have had other pump companies do work here over the years that were ok, but JDY P&W has been the best overall and will be my sole go to source from now on.

Jerry & Don's installed a pump 25 years ago, after all that time of good service, it finally broke down. I called them and they showed up and in three hours I had water flowing. I decided to replace the pump and stopped by the office at 7am the next day. I met Michael and Jim. I had a new pump installed that same day by 2pm by two wonderful technicians, Juan and Joel. I was very impressed by their excellent work and professional attitude. The owner showed up upon completion to check out the job. I am a retired engineer. I am so pleased that I felt compelled to write this review.

Never write reviews but was so impressed with the professionalism and responsiveness of Tom, Juan and Jim; quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. Had to run new electrical, upgrade pipe/pump, wellhead, install new pressure pump, new electrical connections to new panel, since all was lost in 2017 wildfire. These guys are good!! AND, they left the property looking neat and clean. Good job, guys!

When we went from having lots of water one day to none the next, we knew we had a well issue. We replaced the pressure switch and control box (which is surprisingly easy to do btw and often the problem) and when that didn't work, we knew we must have a blown pump in the well. It's not difficult to remove your pump from your well but we were both busy with work and decided to have Jerry and Don's look at it and put on a new pump. Joe, one of the pump techs came out, disconnected everything and then an estimator showed up and said our well was dry and we needed to go to the county pull a $4100 permit and get a new well dug (which runs $20,000 to $30,000). Before we knew it, they left with all of our stuff (pump, 40ft of plastic pipe and all the submersible electrical). We had to keep calling to find out what was going on. Each time we were told someone would call back and no one ever did. We measured 10 ft of water in our well (ours is shallow at 44ft total) so we knew we had water. After the 4th day of being left literally high and dry, we persuaded the answering service to have the pump tech on duty, Ray, reach out to us. He was really helpful and finally got us some answers. I got a call on the 5th day at 7:40am from Nathan saying they were dropping our stuff off, when I asked when, he told me they were already outside. I went out in my pajamas to find a very rude Joe telling me all of my pump stuff belonged in the garbage and then told me things weren't going to work out for me. Really?! This is how you act after you were the one who messed up? Nathan admitted they shouldn't have taken our stuff (no kidding) but was still kind of blowing the situation off. Well guess what guys? Everything worked out just fine. I bought a new pump at Friedman's for $400, wired it up, connected our piping and put it in the well and I now have tons of running water again! Obviously, I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. I hope Ray starts his own pump business bc he was awesome

I really wanted to like this company based on local recommendations and their Yelp review but I can't. Since summer time we have tried to engage them in a well project. "Ben" was scheduled to come out but he simply did not show up. Spouse never heard from anyone at the company to reschedule the appointment. Crickets. Fast forward to fall and it's the third week of October and I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I called myself and spoke to an attentive woman and was assured that "Ben" will call in two business days. Today is Nov 9 and crickets. No Ben no call. I suppose they have so much business with little competitors they don't care. Such a disappointment!

A lot of vendors who do repair will jump to send techs and start the billing clock ASAP. Jerry and Dons are more focused on getting you back up and running. Had a call with Jim this morning and he patiently walked me through trouble shooting my jet pump. Within 10 minutes we had discovered the culprit and I was able to handle the repair on my own (pincher bug shorting my 240v contacts!). This saved me time and trouble. This is how you make a lifelong customer. Thank you Jerry and Dons!!

Just want to thank Jerry and Don's For coming out and getting my water going again. They were fast ,efficient, and courteous. Called them this morning and they were out here in a flash. Martin was the technician they sent out. I was so happy with the work he did. This is a five star company . Call these guys. You won't be sorry.

My wife called them last year because our well, apparently the control box, was not working. 10 month later, the same part fails and they replace it again. However, the part is not under warrantee. The cost of the parts is 80% more than what you find on Amazon (for example they charged me for a part at $352 while you can buy it with shipping for $196 on Amazon). At $180 an hour for labor during week ends, I do not understand businesses that have to put such a premium on each part, and cannot guarantee their work for at least a year. If you are desperate, call them, and they will likely fix your problem. But expect to pay a high price for their intervention.Update to my review: The owner contacted me, and gave me a symbolic $50 discount, which I guess is better than nothing. At least, they follow up with their customers (although the review on Yelp was not mentioned, it might have helped).

Several months ago, we had an iron filtration system installed by a rival company that seriously screwed it up. I was told that Jerry & Don's was the go-to well well company and that proved to be true. They did a great job, quickly and efficiently, and the system is running fine. I needed some further service and I was impressed with the intelligence and knowledge of their team. At one point, at 6 am, I thought I was having a problem and called their emergency service and got Jerry on the line, who was quite courteous, considering it was a false alarm and I probably woke him up. This is a great business!
