I loved this place! The lady at the counter was very nice and found out that she took over the business in 2019, so reviews from the past will reflect someone else (owner or worker not sure). She was very helpful and helped me to find cloths my size. I bought a pair of shorts, pants and two tops. I loved the uniqueness of the shop and the cloths. Aleady have gotten compliments while wearing them around town. Would go back again when in the area!

Funk and Flash has really allowed me to step out of my normal 'clothing' shell and into something new yet still me! From all the festival musts to every day wear I can always find something too add to my closet. My daily attire has slowly began to resemble a mixed breed between Festival and Normie life offering a uniqueness and comfort I didn't have before.5/5 would recommend!

Staff was friendly, she wore a mask the entire time I was in the store. Went in specifically looking for masks. They had a decent selection.Funk & Flash is at ground level, but the racks are very close. Someone in a wheelchair would need assistance.

There is no other store like it. I love the one of a kind clothes, jewelry and accessories like wigs, glitter, etc... I also love the range from super high end artisan clothing to affordable everyday tops and pants. The store is clean, bright and the staff is friendly. Every time I go in a see something new I must have!

Funk&Flash is a groovy little store on Sebastopol's main drag. If you've watched early episodes of Guy's "Diners, Drive-ins&Dives",you've seen Funk&Flash's brilliantly purple storefront. It's a 60s flashback in a town that has serious hippie vibes (it's down the street from where the Grateful Dead once dined) They have a huge selection of tie dye, crystals, rock&roll memorabilia, you name it, they probably have it. The customer service is top notch. If you're browsing, they're more than ready to help (or be unobtrusive if you want to be left alone) The prices range from $5 to $50 depending on what you're looking for. They choose from Fair Trade&local artists. It's not just Burning Man outfits, but comfortable everyday clothing. It tends to be on the pricey end, but it's worth the journey.
