Copperfield's Books is a cute, cozy, and magical independent bookstore on Main Street in downtown Sebastopol. It is a great local bookstore with a wonderful and knowledgeable staff that is always friendly, kind, and helpful. The store offers a great selection of books, including old favorites and new favorites, with a good-sized and very large children's section. This section has a wide array of genres, plus lots of books, plushies, and educational toys. There are also lots of cool little trinkets and games. It is an enjoyable place to browse, with a seating area inside. While new books are a bit pricey as expected, it is a nice and cozy place to read a book over a cup of coffee or tea. Visitors should note there is a small charge for bags.
Cute book store on main street in downtown Sebastopol. If they offer you a bag say no. They charge $.10 for a bag. Locals may be used to this but this Midwestern girl is not! I just hate paying for something when I have no clue I'm being charged for it.

Great independent book store, lots of cool little trinkets and games, too.
New books are expensive these days, but they cost the same everywhere, so before go here instead of a chain bookstore and keep these places alive because they are magical places that instill a life long love of books and reading and art
