“This is a really well run studio. The people are in great shape and many seam to be really advanced in their yoga practice. You can tell they take yoga seriously while being friendly and inclusive at the same time. I travel from San Diego all the way up through Seattle once a year on a 3 month work project. I go to many studios. So just on a comparison basis this one is really enjoyable.”

“The lady who runs this shop is very friendly and doesn't discriminate on you being heavier.I had to order a custome suit because no store bought suit would fit a female of my stature.She told me right off the bat, she won't charge more just because I'm bigger, she said some places charge for the extra material, but she felt it was unfair for the person.I highly recommend her for a custom suit, or any alterations.”

“So a couple of buddies and myself were just starting our ride when a friend noticed there was a issue.(hasn’t been for a ride in awhile)From first contact in the bike shop, Fredy was most helpful to help us complete our purchase with a great smile!We decided to to the labor ourselves since it was a simple task (chain). After removing the old chain and installing the new one there was another issue with the length! Then we didn’t have the core tool to complete our task , so embarrassed, I walked back inside head hung low and talked with the mechanic Andrew who assured me it’s was no problem to help out a little! But I must say to my friends it was more than just a little!I told my friends how being a member isn’t the reason the employees are nice it’s the hospitality and friendliness that makes my REI outstanding! “Beautifully curated, high and mid-end fashions. Mostly women but that's normal. My wife loves that the apparel are well made, fabric is very soft and fit is great. They carry names brands and nice trinkets for the home. You can find some great stuff here that is really affordable. As normal go to the rear of the store to get to the sale section. For Carmel, this store is very affordable. The staff always friendly and greets everyone coming through the door! They are not overbearing following you around the store, they allow you to browse and do your thing. Always with a smile, asking if you need assistance.”

“I tend to purchase James Perse clothing while traveling due to it’s practical and comfortable nature. I find that under packing allows for shopping at the destination. I found this comfortable, welcoming store and spent quite a bit of time looking around. Staff was friendly and informative. I found a fun collection of brands from which to choose and ended up selecting from their James Perse offerings. I was surprised to discover that this store is relatively new; it sure felt as if had been here in Carmel for years. I’ll certainly return when I next visit Carmel.Four years later:I stop by this store when visiting here annually. I usually find something for myself and a few pieces for my daughter because she is a smaller, more common, size. I find fun clothing that I don't see at stores near home and I'm pleased to be able to see and touch fabrics, avoiding the disappointment I've experienced when purchasing on line. I do not treasure being bombarded by overbearing sales staff and this place is comfortable, allowing me to explore while they answer questions regarding brand sizing. Among favorites items at this store are the Carbon brand tee shirts which, amazingly, are long enough for my 6'7" husband. Each visit we are able to purchase a couple new colors. The fabric is substantial and they wash well.”
