“Just came here for the pinball place, but the plaza seemed to have lots of good businesses. Parking was really bad as it was practically full and you can only park for an hour. We had to leave Lynn's to repark in a different spot in the lot just to make sure we weren't ticketed.”

“Ghirardelli's Ice Cream shop on Cannery Row.. For the majority, it might not matter, however everybody remembers the glass goblets that you would eat your hot fudge sundae in, and in my opinion, that's what made the experience, beyond the fudge and ice cream... Unfortunately they are still using plastic cups for sundaes.. Thanks COVID-19.?”

“I used to gravitate to this shopping center many, many times while living on the peninsula. So many fine shops and eateries. The place was always immaculately clean. The choice of restaurants were all first class eateries. The shops were all upscale. I always enjoyed my visits to this shopping center.”

“It would be nice to have a convenient cart when shopping for small amounts. As I was waiting to take out my cart at the entrance, a man casually turned around and handed me his used cart. A country where ladies come first.”

“I visited the shopping center in Monterey on a Saturday around lunchtime, and while the location is great, I was surprised by how little foot traffic there was. It felt quite empty, which is unusual for a weekend. Some stores, like Gap and Victoria's Secret, seem to be struggling, with empty shelves and a lack of new inventory. It would be nice to see more vibrant activity and better product selections to attract shoppers. Overall, the shopping experience could benefit from some revitalization to draw in more customers”

“We stopped by Old Fisherman's Wharf on our way back from San Jose. This was my first time here and I enjoyed taking a stroll along the pier, visiting the various shops, and watching the various street performers. We had lunch at Grotto's Fish Market and browsed through the souvenir shops. They were just starting to put up the Christmas tree and had the Christmas decor up, so I t was very festive. While waiting for our restaurant buzzer, we walked down towards the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. It was such a beautiful view!”

“A quick note. The Japanese Restaurant was superb. The owner even said hello and thanked us for our visit. The environment is classic and full of coastal character. Looks like a great place to walk, shop and have a meal. Not the cheapest, but it is Carmel, so this should be expected.”

“Honestly I'm not that big of a shopper anymore but love the vibe of this center. In particular how everything hovers around the main courtyard makes it quaint and inviting. I appreciate the various sitting areas for those who like to simply enjoy time and space but there are are plenty great shops around for those who love that part too. Wish there were more restaurants in this center but it's pretty small so I'm sure they have to divy up between dining/shopping/etc.”
