Very lovely, no-frills traditional small family-owned shop with generous portions of fresh and tasty food at reasonable prices. I had leftovers for several days afterward. The service was great, and the people running the shop were sweet, kind, and very welcoming and attentive. I was just passing through Monterey on a long drive and stopped here for lunch, but if I lived there, I would support this business regularly.

If you are looking for authentic, delicious tasting food, you need to check this place out. Mike will whip you up something amazing. I visited this place last week and I've been back twice. Writing this review and I'm ready to go now! The Lamb was A+. The quality of service was great. The feeling of the ambiance gives you authentic. Friendly place with great food. Check them out!

This restaurant is amazing. The platters are fantastic. The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous and the flavors are outstanding. The baklava is out of this world! Tonight was the first time tried this restaurant. We are in agreement, we will be eating our leftovers for breakfast and will be coming back for dinner tomorrow! We will come here every time we visit Monterey.

The owner is very nice and the food was pretty good, only thing I'm disappointed about is the use of tortillas rather then lavash on the wraps. Otherwise good people and good food.

Eat local if you can! They make the order on the spot and the lady who made our food was very sweet. The falafels had good flavor just as the lamb gyros did. While you're waiting for your food, you can shop around, lots of middle eastern items you won't find in regular grocery stores. They sell halal meat of all kinds.

What a nice find! The owner is cheerful, friendly and so helpful. He fixed us up dinner quickly that was both delicious and authentic. The store has all of the middle eastern groceries you would need. I'm so happy to find this gem in Monterey! Definitely go and support this wonderful local business

This beef wrap was huge and so delicious! This wrap was bigger than my forearm! We came for the first time and so delighted to try this place. Hardworking, friendly man owns and works at his store and restaurant. My photo does not show how BIG my beef wrap is. It was so good. It had lots of veggies inside which is a real plus! Shared with my husband & I can save my other half for tomorrow! Highly recommend you try this place!!!

Great food, got the chicken shawarma wrap limited parking, and limited seating but a must try nonetheless! Guy running the spot has great customer service very friendly! A must try for sure!!!

This establishment is amazing. The owner went above and beyond when my family wanted to make a halal prime rib for Christmas dinner. His store flooded, and he still prioritized our dinner and was able to get us our order. I will patronize this store for the foreseeable future. I highly recommend coming here for your needs. The owner really cares.
