Very good place to find used stuff at bargain prices. Store has a huge space and offers a variety of home items including furniture, electronics, kitchenware in addition to tools and equipment, books, etc. People working here are nice and friendly.Store hours are kind of limited, 10am - 4pm.Plenty of parking spaces nearby.Returns are accepted within a week for store credit.

Their stuff is not clean we got a piece of furniture from here and it was gross. We called them and asked for a refund they said no. We asked if they cleaned stuff they received and they said no they get it as is and sell it as is would not recommend getting anything from this place.

No humanity here. They sell all of their DONATIONS at market price. It’s literally cheeper to go buy stuff from target. This place is a disgrace.

I enjoy shopping around for items, I do not really need, but for the right price will try. Two free used books with a purchase, here. Cool! I found Time Life hardback coffee table photo books in great shape, Johnny Carson VHS shows and boxes of nails ($1).Lots of furniture, pictures, gadgets and more stuff that is priced weirdly, but check for the color tag discounts. Amazing how these non profits with donated goods and low overhead can justify charging so much for used, sometimes damaged goods. Oh well, my old age is showing, lol!Enjoy the treasure hunting, still a better value than some of the poor quality overpriced crap out there.

A great organization that although staffing us not always in point, does a great job supporting reuse and landfill diversion. Too bad we lost such a great theatre. Maybe someday we can reclaim the theatre and move this store to a better lit and more appropriate location.

Stopped by to look for inexpensive furniture and wasn't able to locate much. All furniture is priced high, it might be because it's all high quality-sturdy. Lots of random items: mugs, glassware, and a section for home improvement. Holy smokes, lots of light bulbs, doors, cabinets- really good for that DIY home. They also have leather! I've gone back a couple of times for home repair items (door knob, etc) and they are all well priced.

I have stopped by this Restore location when we've been in the area. There is an interesting vibe with this location. I'm a military brat, so it does resonate with me. The building was originally the base theater, built in the mid 70s. You can tell by the layout and interior entrance. If I close my eyes, I can guess what area was used for the picture with Santa Claus in the front entrance around Christmas. It's better than the San Jose location. You can find more unique merchandise over generic 90s property management group donations (That's another story). It looks like they actually take donations from people. As for the people that work there, I've met nice volunteers and ones that seem rude. It was great on my first visit when I met one of the volunteers that used to work at the Restore Santa Clara location (long gone). On another visit, I was trying to get some help reaching for something that was up high. I asked for help twice before I had someone help me. The person who responded told me, "You don't need to speak to Kate that way; she is one of the kindest people in the world." All I did was ask her for some help to get something down. Apparently, she was not the right person to ask for assistance. She was the cashier. I was supposed to know this, as per the angry coworker. I wasn't being abusive nor judgmental with this request. I just needed some help, and asked a second time after waiting 20 minutes . I didn't understand why this person would say that. When I've been this particular ReStore, I avoid this person if he's on duty. It looks like a lot of people have used this place as a way to purge their book collection over donating the books to the library. You can pick out a book and get it for free with your purchase. They really need the space. I just found out recently that they will take cash, but will not give back change. For awhile, they were only accepting credit card transactions due to health concerns. If you buy that cool bed frame for 40.00, and the total is 43.80 with tax, please consider that you will be donating your 16.20 in change if you pay with three twenty dollar bills. If you promised a helper friend that you would pay for lunch afterwards, you might want to consider that first. I'm not sure if this is a good plan.

They're accepting Cash now which is great BUT what's not so great is they don't give you your change back and consider it a donation. If you use your card you'll be charged the exact amount. What a racket.

I have found great deals at this Store. The Staff is very Helpful. I just wish their hours went to at least 6pm during the week for those of us that work in the day. One very BAD experience is I bought a Brand New Large Appliance in Perfect Condition and after I purchased it They moved the item several times from the items location to other areas of the store and damaged this Appliance severely on Both sides, deeply scratched and dented it after I had Paid for it. They even told me they were not going to move it. Yet they did anyway with poor equipment and no protection around the item. My item got deep large gruved scratches and removal of a lot of paint which did severe damage and is not fixable. That brought the items value down majorily and looks unsightly. I needed and wanted the item and was excited about it so it was disappointing to have it get damaged After I paid a lot of money for it. Their "Pricing Tags" Labels do not come off without removing the paint or stain and leaving permanent damage marks. Don't stick them on with the sticky label, use painters tape or use string tags. Please get new Labels. Also put a Huge Sign on the Item for them to not relocate "DO NOT MOVE" while you go and get your truck. Prices have gone up considerably. It's OK if the item is truly worth it and in excellent condition. I just wish Habitat for Humanity Employees Respected the customers purchase and do little harm to the items and treat everything like it's Brand New and very Fragile while coming or going out of the Store. Please use a blanket and/or cushioned buffer on the moving equipment at direct points of contact. The customer pays for and wants to keep the value. Everyone wants Nice belongings to improve their Home. ? A HUGE THANK YOU to all those who DONATE.
