A really great stay for the price! I arrived late, around 8 pm, and the guy at the check-in was very polite and quick. A good person to greet you. Bed was comfortable, location is great, and it was pretty quiet.
The only cons were there a few things that were dirty in my room. A few stains on the comforter, one of the towels was dirty, and the shower mat was covered in a strange color. Other than that, would definitely stay again.

My boyfriend and I were in the city for a friend's wedding in August 2023.
The hotel staff at check-in and check-out were extremely friendly and welcoming.
The room was spacious enough for both of us and had no issues.
The location of the hotel was close to the beach/venue and close to shopping stores and restaurants.
If we are ever back in town visiting, we would consider staying here again due to the price, location, and service.

Check in:Arrived at 4:45. Door to office closed. Had to wait for someone to check us in. Person that checked us in was not very personable. Had a hard time hearing them due to glass window and traffic noise.On line add says vending machine ..there is no vending machine.No microwave in rm... the one available to guests is at front desk...door was locked...called front desk...no answer....Room : appeared to be clean.Dusty, Holes in bottom sheet and blood and sweat/pee stains on mattress cover..no pillow protector sRooms: Sterile lockingNeed a picture/paintingWalkability: GreatFood & drinks: No vending machine

We have been using this establishment for some time. The rooms have all been updated and are exceptionally clean. The owners are very friendly and care about guests comforts. Highly recommend this establishment you will not be disappointed.

I needed a place to stay last minute for a family member and they were so accommodating. Got them a room which was newly remodeled and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly which is always a plus. On top of that the price was great!

Zero customer service skills, and lack of basic mannera. Prior stay, commented staff was looking at us like we stole sometuing. Booked on another occasion, ,vupon check in , i vave id to clerk, suddnly another higlhly agitated person stepped in, excitedly telling.me my reservation was.cqncelled due to my bad review!!!!! Instead of improving cust service, they retaliated against me. Not decent,people, steer.clear.Waiting to ntify guest of cancellation at check in? You gave a bad review! is he reason given. No class.

Great experience. We only stayed for a night. Parking lot is clean, room is spacious, staff is very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

The bathroom and sink area did not seem as clean and modern as the rest of the space, but otherwise, the room was more than sufficient and quite beautiful. Wooden flooring and ceiling, great lighting, hangers, comfy bed, bedside outlets, flat screen TV, extra seats, temperature control (cooling/heating), hair dryer, and small fridge. No microwave in the room, but there are a couple available for use at the front office. Service at check-in wasn't exactly fast or efficient, but it was fine. Parking lot was pretty full when we returned late on a Saturday night, but luckily one spot left. Also, Safeway is around the corner for convenience, and the beach less than a 5-minute drive away. Good experience overall.

I will start with the good things. The location was wonderful. Its location was a short 5 minute drive to the beach, fisherman's wharf, cannery row, and the freeway. It had a mini fridge, and coffee maker, but no microwave. The room was clean but the bathroom was very outdated and needed some repairs. Here comes the bad. When I went in to the office to check in I took my service dog in with me, and the office assistant was very rude about my service dog. They asked if it was a service dog I showed my proof that he is a service dog. They came to our room about him again later which was quite upsetting. While my son was out in the parking lot riding his bike preparing for his bike race which is why we were there an older gentleman started yelling at him for riding his bike in the parking lot. Mind you there was maybe two other cars in the parking lot all weekend. He was not doing anything that was damaging their property or putting him in any kind of harm. The bed frames are made of cheap metal that got bent when my son accidentally kicked his getting into bed. They charged me $150.00 to fix it with no bill showing what I was being charged for and a breakdown of all cost. I was very disappointed with the stay there.Nearby activities: The location was probably the best part of the stay. It was only a five minute drive from Cannery Row, fisherman's wharf, and the beach.

Very nice hotel for the price. No microwave in the room was a negative, they have one at the main desk available 9am-9pm. Its vaulted ceiling no insulation so it may get hot/cold, but they have heater and A/C in room so it's not much of an issue. very spacious and parking spot right at your door.
Walkability: 15 min from the Monterey Fairgrounds
5 min from Safeway/Starbucks/7-Eleven
