“LICORICE HEAVEN! This is the #1 spot for licorice lovers. They have a huge selection from all over the world. It's so good that I look for excuses to go down to Carmel-by-the-sea just to pay them a visit.”

“The owner of this establishment is wonderful and cares about her patrons and products. Over 55 years in the business of making Salt Water Taffy. I lived in Monterey County for 40 years and loved going to this candy store. Since I moved away I hadn't had her salt water taffy in a while. I went back to visit and accidentally bought my friend some sugar free taffy. Unfortunately she couldn't eat it because sugar free products cause her migraines. I contacted the candy store and told them what happened and the owner graciously sent my friend a regular taffy. I am so grateful for her generosity. That is a wonderful business owner who cares. Please support this amazing business owner and her unbelievably delicious salt water taffy.”

“Large assortment of saltwater taffy and retro candies available. Most of the aisles are so narrow and it got so crowded with strollers that had a hard time getting through that it was too hard to even look so I ended up leaving. It was a Saturday so maybe at another time would be easier.”

“Review: Sweet Experience at Candy World**

I recently visited Candy World and was impressed by their huge selection of candies and the variety they offer. The shelves were stocked with a delightful array of sweets, making it a candy lover's paradise.

I decided to try the fudge and had the pleasure of speaking with the lady who makes it fresh every day. The fudge was good and tasted great, with a rich, creamy texture. While it wasn't the best fudge I've ever had, I'd rate it a solid 7 out of 10.

Overall, Candy World offers a wonderful selection and a charming atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit for anyone with a sweet tooth.”

“Extremely nice shop owner with a cute little shop. Macarons were very reasonably priced, especially considering they are MACARONS. If you can't afford a macaron don't buy one. Don't go to a place to buy macarons expecting them to be cheap. If you want cheap macarons, you get bad macarons. CHEAP MACARON = BAD MACARON Highly recommend.”
