Love this studio! I’ve been taking class here for years and it’s still challenging. Lots of different class formats to keep you engaged and never bored. Highly recommend Pure Barre Rossmoor for a great workout.

Attended one Classics class from their 7 year anniversary promotion ($10 for the class). I've done barre at Barre Attitude at LBX and some YouTube ones from Pop Sugar and Movewithnicole but I can definitely say this is useful for someone who wants to perfect the form because the instructors are there to INSTRUCT how to correct your posture and provide demonstrations of movements especially for first timers. Pure Barre relies heavily in adding resistance to make the most of your workout and you'll be using the double bands for almost every workout, as well as performing isometric moments to tire out the muscles rather than a full range of motion. The only reason for the reduction in the stars is that in terms of a workout, I would have preferred more cardio built in! But otherwise the facility is clean, customer service and quality of instructors is on pointe (see what I did there?), marketing is also a plus as they had great outreach (email, text).

Pure barre is an excellent workout: challenging and effective. I tried the Seal Beach location for a one month new member ($99). Many of the staff are very friendly and helpful. I don't know if it's COVID or I just had bad luck here, but there are SO many rules! I showed up to class after getting caught in crazy traffic. The class started at 4:15. I arrived at 4:16 and was denied access. They were kind enough not to charge me the expensive late fee, which I very much appreciated. But later, I was in classes that started a minute or two late so I found that to be inconsistent. They did a great job checking temperatures and denying access relating to COVID. I had a low grade temp one day (probably from sitting in a hot car) and was denied access, but I think this is totally right. But strangely, another time my temp was slightly high, I was told to sit in the car to cool down and then I could come back in. Again, inconsistent. The signing up process is taxing: You have to sign up days in advance and every class is waitlisted. I made it into every class I tried to except for one (and the staff went above and beyond by sending me a personal text to tell me of another time that was available, which was very kind), In the month of attending, there was maybe only one full class--the rest all had open spaces, so not sure if people are just not showing up or why getting into classes is such a process. I changed the time of a class once and was charged $15.00 late fee cancellation charge. I do understand people want to get into classes and to know if they are able to attend, so late cancellation can be inconvenient, but maybe a one time allowance could be extended? Or notice that there will be a change charge? This week I went in for a class and I didn't know, but I was in a space where they were filming to stream the class online. I found it strange that no one had let me know I was going to be recorded. Once I realized, I moved from the space and was told the new space I had moved to was not to be used. The instructor seemed really annoyed with me, so I tried to quickly move to another space, but this could have all been avoided if I had just been notified that I was in a spot to be filmed! Again, just so many rules. The unlimited membership is expensive ($180/month). I've been to just about every sort of workout class you can name: cycle, bar, barre, pilates, cross fit, gym memberships etc. I really like the workout, however, all the rules and the inflexibility is probably a little too uptight for me. I guess I would go for a workout that is a little more relaxed with a little bit of fun especially in these trying times.

I have never been a gym person, so studio classes are the only way for me to stick to working out. So, I've been taking classes here regularly for about a year and a half and I love it! The challenges are so motivating! The staff is friendly and inviting, and the studio is clean and organized.

Awesome workout from fantastic instructors! I've been to many PB studios and frequent different types of workouts, and this studio is one of the best! Super challenging classes (with a high calorie burn) and instructors are really hands-on, challenging you to do your best and always bringing you to the next level. Very friendly studio atmosphere too; I always feel completely comfortable. As I don't live in the immediate area I could not be around for months yet staff still remembers who I am and what I'm looking for from class - huge bonus! It can be difficult to get classes on the weekends so book early, but staff does an above and beyond job helping clients get into class (they send texts, etc). Highly recommend; fabulous studio, fun and effective workout.

If you are looking for a great workout that focuses on strength training this Pure Barre location is for you. The staff is encouraging while challenging each student to reach their personal best. It is also one of the cleanest studios I've ever been to. Those that frequent this location are also super friendly and a great group to work out with.

I've been doing barre for 10 + years and never been to such a poorly taught studio. Instructors suck. Studio is dirty with old carpet and smelly. No motivation and no positive music. Packed classes. When I showed up a minute late I wasn't allowed in and they almost CHARGED me an additional $30 for being a minute late. Probably illegal. The late fee is $30 is Insane. Teachers are rude and clicky. DO NOT GO HERE.

This week is my last week of Pure Barre and I'm so, so sad! I took the 6-week unlimited promo, and I am SO, sooo happy that I did. This is my first time ever taking a regular class at a studio, and before coming in I knew nothing about barre. The pictures I've seen always looked very calm and pretty--but let me assure you that you get one hell of an amazing, intense work out from each of their classes. I was always skeptical about taking studio classes, but oh my goodness, I've become a barre-believer and I've loved every single class! You will get SUCH an amazing workout. I'm literally dripping in sweat during class and it's only at the 30 minute mark. At times I contemplate why I do this to myself during the class (especially when there's a Chik-fil-A calling my name right next door), but after class I am always so happy that I did and I am basking in my post-work out glow. I'm actually really glad that I started classes during the beginning weeks of when I got back into working out, because these classes really teach you what it means to PUSH yourself. I have a gym membership elsewhere, and after taking Pure Barre I feel like I'm even more motivated to push myself harder at the gym. I've taken yoga all my life, ran all my life, and do regular workouts at the gym, but Pure Barre is really a one-of-a-kind type of workout experience. It's a fast-paced workout with light weights and resistance bands (sounds harmless, but you will be shaking!); you get a total body work out that focuses on isolating different parts of the body. Every class is different so you get to really push your body and muscles in different ways every time. I feel stronger each class, and you will never get caught up in a boring routine! The instructors and front desk staff are so welcoming and friendly, and the facility is incredibly clean and it always smells like what I'd imagine a Febreeze commercial to smell like (amazing). Priscilla is my favorite instructor!! She was my first instructor and she took the time to talk me through barre "lingo," answered any questions, and made my transition into my first class very easy. She's super fun, always encourages you to push yourself and gives great correction on posturing as needed. She has the best music too! Thanks a bunch Priscilla :) Again, I'm so sad my promo is ending, because classes are not cheap! But, I'm waiting on another promo that I could hopefully get a hold of, and once I find one I will definitely be returning. If no promo, I'll turn to the Lotto or sell one of my kidneys to take classes. Barre forever, baby. In all seriousness, I absolutely loved my time at Pure Barre, and I'm so excited to come back. Thank you Rossmoor PB for an amazing first experience!!

I love this location because the venue is really nice and the bright lighting is awesome. The staff is ok - the instructors are all very good and it doesn't get overcrowded during the weekdays.

I had a monthly membership before I moved to the east coast. Every time I visit home, I make sure to attend a class every day. The workouts are amazing and this location has some of the most challenging workouts for barre that I have been to! I love the challenge and that I always get a good sweat in every class. The instructors are highly motivating and helpful with assists. Highly recommend!

My favorite part is how clean the studio is. The next thing is how streamline the whole class is. No minute is wasted and the workout is amazing. I'm already getting compliments on how tone I'm getting. Biggest difference is the commitment. They have set the barre (hehehe) high and expect commitment and timeliness from all members. I never miss a class I sign up for!
