“Huge shout out to this store that is traditionally a place you can get legit help. They're mellow when you're on site and will match up screws and threadings.
Today we had an issue and Glen, a staffer, was referred to us by other staff. He came to the phone and helped us troubleshoot our issue and even was willing to receive a photograph of what we were running into so he wasn't winging an answer.
This is nothing short of remarkable for folks typically BS answers rather than help neighbors and work with customers in good faith.

“Was visiting my brother in Long Beach and he needed some items here. It was my 1st time in a H.F. store. It was clean and had good displays of products along w visible prices. I had a good time just looking around and seeing what they carried. I bought a lightning USB C charging cord. Prices were reasonable and competitively priced. Parking lot did feel small. But the cashiers were attentive & friendly. Will use again.”

“Flex tube for water fountains and above ground pools is on the second shelf need a latter to access it... always find myself driving a bit farther to lowes even though I always go to home detpo first cause it's closer. Lowes had it accessible even with cutters on the shelf so you didn't have to ask for help..”

I expected a watered-down product involving several coats of paint. No, it was the real deal: a thick, one-coat, nationally-recognized brand of paint that covered the job in one coat...at an unimaginably low price.
For years, I have been wary of this store's sidewalk sign, "One gallon of paint for $10." After giving this store one try, I will NEVER, N-E-V-E-R purchase paint anywhere else.”
