I love Commune! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I've been seeing Cassie for over 7 years now. She is not only super talented but she's also kind and compassionate. I started seeing her when I lost a lot of hair from medical treatments and she not only helped save my hair but also helped save me emotionally. Shes the absolute best.

The Commune Hair Cult is such a peaceful, chill spot. I discovered it when my stylist Andy relocated here. The location is clean, relaxing, and everyone I've interacted with has been kind. I've been trusting Andy with my haircare since about 2017 and am thankful for their expertise and online scheduling ;) I have short - medium hair, and Andy has always been skilled with this length. My signature style is "boring", but I love seeing all the creative looks Andy creates for their more adventurous clients. Highly recommend Commune and Andy!Services: Hair coloring

I had an amazing experience with Dana! I came here looking to get back to healthy after having a somewhat traumatic experience at another salon (chemical burns). I love that the salon is non toxic, you can tell just by walking in, as the salon smells amazing. The decor is so cute and everyone in the salon was kind. It was a peaceful and positive experience. I highly recommend this salon and working with Dana. I will be coming back again and again.

Coming here is such a relaxing and fulfilling experience - the energy is just *chef's kiss*. Chelsea is my girl and I adore her and all the amazing things she's done for my hair. This salon offers awesome hair services in an beautiful environment, and in a sustainable way, which is awesome! I'm able to come in and know they're taking all the precautions to keep everyone safe and healthy, they're making my hair look AMAZING, and they're ensuring salon waste is recycled and/or reused. I mean, COME ON. You can go with one of their varied haircut and/or coloring options, and you can even kick it up a notch and get a copper foot soak or a scalp treatment. I can attest, both are BLISS. So basically, this is a salon that has a community-driven approach to their clients and a holistic approach to hair. I drive down to Seal Beach from Pasadena because I'm such a fan, and it's absolutely worth the commute!

Commune is such a cute place! I have been seeing Sonya for 10 years, she always does amazing work. I've been blonde, purple, brown, bright blonde and strawberry blonde. Never before this place have I seen wash bowls that are so comfortable that I literally fall asleep getting my hair washed. I don't know how to describe it but there's a thing that holds your head so the weight of the head isn't straining the neck. It's freakin amazing! The space itself has such a great vibe. It's always so clean and fresh.

Cassie Day has been doing my hair for 3 years now and I cannot imagine anyone else touching my hair! She fixed my hair when I first arrived to the area and I stuck with her ever since :) Cassie has taken my hair from red, to magenta, to purple, and now to the most beautiful blonde. She does amazing work and I highly recommend her. As a salon, Commune has such a warm and inviting space. It feels so cozy and relaxing, plus they have the most comfortable shampoo station ever!

Had my first ever appointment with Cassie yesterday and she was incredible. Took lots of time to explain what she was doing, why my (absurd) hair acts the way it does, what products and styling techniques would best suit me--the whole gamut. It's rare to find a stylist who happily takes such time to impart knowledge to their clients. The salon itself is also a lovely space in a complex with PARKING! Thanks Cassie, I'll definitely be back!

Chelsea is incredible; I've been seeing her for almost ten years. She is organized and thoughtful. I am not a fussy hair person and can be at a loss for what to request. I can share my needs, how I live my life, and she just comes up with a shared vision for my cut. I love it every time. My other friends rave about her color skills and call her a magician. Now she has Commune salon and it is gorgeous! I love the decor, the plants, the coffee (in non-COVID time), and the kind demeaner everyone offers. You can tell Commune is a labor of love, and that's exactly the kind of small business I want to support.

Charles is amazing!! Great conversation and a super nice guy. Always nervous to switch hair stylists. But Charles gave me a great cut right out of the gate. For my follow up appointments, I basically just sit in his chair and he does his thing!! Charles is meticulous and takes his time to make sure you are pleased with his work. The salon has a great vibe which is an added plus!!

Kristina is a hair wizard. The cut, the color - everything always exceeds my expectations; like she can read my mind then takes it to the next level. The salon is so cute! The attention to detail makes me wish she could also style my house.
