Better than Orielly's for your every day clunker. At least their parts last an appreciable amount of time by comparison. Completely useless now for classic cars. They don't have any of the old catalogs anymore since big brother Napa put their foot on their necks.

I was welcomed in immediately and warmly by who I think was the manager. He was enthusiastic and when he couldn't find the product I was looking for in the store, he looked in a discard box they had and just gave me the product for free! I'll be back!

Winchester Scotts Valley used to be a quality store and we've gone there for years. No longer - Looks like new owners? The staff has no knowledge and the quality of service is gone. We tried to order motor and trani mounts for a Honda and already have had to return 5 times and exchange parts that were incorrect *(we're heading down now for the 6th time). That's about $50 bucks in gas alone back and forth. And not an apology to be heard. It's a shame to have to say but don't shop at Winchester Auto anymore unless you want to get angry and waste time...

Went by today because my aging Subaru had a couple of missing bolts on a plastic baffle in my engine; I was helped immediately by Jason, who figured out which ones I needed quickly. Then- (drum roll) he offered to put them in for me!! I thought that kind of service was a thing of the past! Thank you Jason, and Winchester for having such awesome employees!!

This place really went down hill. They used to have such a variety of all things automotive. Now they're a mere shell of their former self, it's kind of sad actually. While every parts store has gone up in price, they don't seem to be remotely competitive with other retailers on certain similar items. I no longer look for parts here as my first choice.

So I'm driving and stuck in traffic when the oil light comes on in my newish Beemer (I just had an oil change in March). Once I got home I called Winchester Auto to see if they had the type of oil required for this type of car. They did! So jumped in the car and drove over and a very nice young gentleman named Cody helped me. He was very attentive and patient with me. I bought 2 bottles of oil ($28.00). Next Cody and another kind young man guided me on how much oil to put in. Who knew I have an electronic dipstick?!? All is well with the world now and my weekend plans can continue! Many thanks to Cody and the staff at Winchester Auto! Bravo gentleman, bravo!

I bought a battery. I returned the battery on the 15th of last month. It has been 18 days and my refund has still not been processed. I have called them 4 times and visited them in store twice. The manager tells me that it will be 3 to 5 business days every time I contact them. I now have to get my lawyer involved to get my refund. NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS.

im not the type of person to write reviews ever, but this store made me incredibly frustrated. when i went in and asked for what i needed, they treated me like i was a child, and as if i didnt know what i was talking about. i literally needed valve caps for my tires because im missing one, and they talked down to me the entire time. serious misogyny in action. i was kinda expecting it because im a woman, but this is like a whole new level of disrespect. would not recommend going if youre a woman unless you go with a man or know EXACTLY the right terminology for what you need. i honestly probably will not return in the near future :/.

This Winchester Store was the best place bar none for parts at a great price. SADLY, they seem to be closed now...

I went into Winchester today and they laid everyone off! I think they got their new employees from O'Riley because they were horrible, zero knowledge and I even heard them tell another customer to ask a mechanic if they should put gasket sealer on a water pump gasket. It's kinda sad that the last decent auto parts store in the area has sold out.

Great place, friendly and knowledgeable staff. If they don't have what you need, they usually can get same or next day.

Awesome Store! My Tundra was misfiring, they let me barrow the code reader to diagnose it, had the right parts for me to fix it and let me barrow the wrenches and sockets to do it. I was able to fix it in the parking lot. They were very cool and helpful. They were even a bit busy at the time because they are awesome! Thanks again guys!!
