My CD was coming due, so I made an appointment with Paige at this branch. I got to the appointment early, and she accommodated me. She brought up my account, showed me the new CD rates and duration on her computer. I made my selection, she saved my file, and printed the new CD term sheet. I was in and out of her office in less than 10 minutes. I recommend her knowledge and efficiency. Yay

I love this bank so much (as a customer for 30+ years) and decided to get a job here! Best decision I've made- excellent company to work for!

Just want to give a shout out to Jose and John. I had an issue with my checking account. They listened to my concern, were empathetic and offered a solution to help. Jose called another department and helped us navigate through the system. He was a very patient person. We thought the issue was going to resolved less than a week, but it took a little bit longer. Spoke to John the following weekend and he also took his time to help. And when it was resolved, he followed through with a phone call to us to let us know. A big Thank You!.

I called Chase yesterday to ask if I could send my partner to cash a check because I am sick. I was told that there's usually a $10 fee, but it would be waived. I joked that I liked that they had free dog biscuits and suckers and that the red ones are best. We talked about what denominations I wanted the money in. I asked the name of the person I was speaking to, Jose. This morning when I came down I looked on my desk and there was an envelope with the money in it, in the denominations I'd requested and another envelope that said: Roses are red Chase is blue Here's something sweet From us to you! Inside were three red suckers! They were from Jose!

The few times, I have gone to this branch, someone is on vacation and they are short-staffed or inefficient. Today I came into the branch shortly after it opened, and there was only one teller, serving another customer (with a complex transaction). The teller informed that the other tellers were still filling the ATM machine, and that I could take a seat. Because I was patient, another bank employee told me that the private banker would serve me (simply to change my ATM pin numbers). The problem was that others customers were served before me at the teller's line before I was attended to. The courtesy and the smiles were nice, but it was aggravating. I should have called the 800 number if they could have changed my pin numbers.

I received a letter in the mail from Chase to verify some information. I called the Scotts Valley branch, and used all 5 options to get ANYONE to answer the phone. NO ONE ANSWERED. Every option bored you to tears with information on how to do things online at Chase.com. Looks like Chase will wait and wait and wait for the info they want from me.I might be doing some bank shopping. If Bank of America answers their phone, I'm done with Chase.

I have had to use my vacation hours from work to go in person to this branch THREE separate times to change my name on all my accounts after getting married. Just got my new credit card in the mail, and wouldn't you know it, it's STILL IN MY OLD NAME. This is a simple task, but apparently too difficult for the staff here. Now I will have to bring all my documents to a different branch, take more time off of work, and do this all over again. Might just close all my accounts while I'm at it, I can't even believe how incompetent these people are.

The last 3 times I had to go inside there was only one teller and extremely long lines. ATMs out of service again today. The Ocean St location seems to be better managed, fully staffed, and more professional.

Don't waste your time going inside unless you want to wait in line for 15 - 20 mins. They usually have only one teller even during peak hours. ATMs are often out of service. It's better and faster to drive the the Santa Cruz location.

The branch manager Arsineh Zargarian is evil to her core and doesn’t know how to run a branch. Absolutely clueless.

I became a customer and they closed "temporarily". Well. It's been a year. I get covid but EVERY other bank in town is open.
