We used to buy gas here all of the time until my wife needed to put air in the tires of the stroller our toddler was in. The worker harassed her saying if she doesn't buy gas she doesn't get air. It is a FACT that it is state law to give citizens air that are in need, no questions asked. She was talked down to and felt attacked. Their phone number doesn't work for management. Over priced gas, candy almost two dollars, I've lived here 20 years and I'll never go back there unless it's to give the worker a talking to.

I think this is where I bought some of those carmel bugles, a guilty pleasure. Of course the gasoline, restroom and cold water also came in handy!

Hugh rip off. This place is always 50 cents or more per gallon than other 76 stations in the county. I live down the street but buy gas in Santa Cruz because it's always cheaper. Moreover, this station syncs its price with the Shell station across the street. If the Shell raises its price 20 cents this place raises its price within a day. These two could be the most expensive gas stations in Santa Cruz County.

The new owners are absolutely horrible. Someone paid for these reviews because nobody in Thier mind would leave a review a that's positive. This place increase prices rapidly since new ownership and charges extorting prices. Everyone I know is talking about it, spreading new news of the new owners who are gauging in prices. Most of the locals stopped coming here for anything food related. The owners are greedy and charge above MSRP by a long shot on anything you'd expect to be the same competitive prices from convenience store to convenience store.

I went down to the gas station near my house where I've lived at off and on for 40 years because I needed to exchange my $10 in quarters for a $10 bill. I counted it first to make sure the cashier wouldn't have to spend too much time. I was greeted with the question "Did you buy gas?" I answered "Not today, no." Then she says, "you want me to buy those coins and you didn't even buy any gas or anything?" I remained calm and I politely explained how we would be doing each other a favor since she would just have to get quarters from the bank, anyway. She gave me the $10 bill and I left. She lost nothing, except 10 seconds of time and she had to endure 10 seconds of conversation with me. I have spent thousands of dollars at this place over the years. I even f-cking worked there. I even have a jacket with the 76 logo on it. Maybe I should wear it next time. It's a gas station. They are notorious for being villains. When it comes to reputation, it's already an uphill battle for the 76 gas station. This lady is only making matters worse by representing them so poorly. I feel sorry for her, I thought my life was bad. Her life must be a lot worse. Happy New Year, everyone! ;-)

So I was here at 4 in the morning because I'm a late night Uber driver. All my fiancé was driving for me because I had gotten to tired to drive so she was driving for me. She pulled into this 76 on Mt Hermon to use the bathroom. She was waiting for me to wake up which took about 5 minutes. Before I was even fully awake the dude inside came out and was asking if I was going to hurry up because he had s*** he needed to do. He went back inside and I went to put my shoes on considering my fiancé had called 10 minutes earlier to use the restroom. He came back out in less than 45 seconds and told us that there were bathrooms else where and we should go look somewhere else. So after finding no open bathrooms we came back and very quickly tried to go to the bathroom and he told us he didn't want our b******* at the store?!?! We never caused any trouble and there was absolutely nothing going on the whole time we were there. I honestly think he was just mad he has to do his job.

I was harassed and discriminated against for my valid medical condition and was told, 'get out of the store' by the cashier. I will never spend another dollar at this gas station. Plenty of gas station to go to in town. I would avoid this discriminatory gas station.
