After 13 years as a client of major tax consultant, I was looking for a more local solution that had the demonstrated credentials to manage complex tax solutions, provide clarity through simplicity and demonstrate a high level of responsiveness. After some research I found Paula Marie Bruce whose resume stood out and after my first tax cycle with her in 2018 she has exceeded my expectations. She removed layers of forms from legacy tax years that were not required. She responded immediately at all hours to emailed questions with concise information. She is a high integrity person that executes to a high standard of customer satisfaction. I look forward to continuing as a client in coming tax years.

Paula Marie Bruce CPA is the most down-to-earth CPA that I've ever had the pleasure with which to work. She is great for both personal taxes and business taxes. I had some exceedingly difficult taxes which required a highly detailed, analytical touch. Paula did that and then some! We worked through all of my issues over the course of five months and she even got me money back from multiple past returns. Also, Paula is a work-from-home professional, like myself, so I highly appreciate that she was always quick-to-respond and communicative to my needs. You definitely pay for you get with Paula! I highly recommend her services to anyone!

Ms. Paula has been doing my taxes for 2 years now. I am a very picky person when it comes to having someone handle my taxes or financial info because I don't want any mistakes,and trust is a huge factor to me. I did a substantial amount of research and even met with three other CPA's and I decided on Ms. Paula because she has impeccable credentials, she's knowledgeable, trustworthy, professional, very nice, and she makes me feel very comfortable. I am confident in trusting her to do my taxes.
I am very happy and satisfied with her work. Everything has been done in a timely manner to emails and getting back to me promptly when I have questions. I am so glad I chose her. I will continue to have her do my taxes every year. You won't be disappointed with Ms. Paula, she is absolutely the best!

Paula Marie Bruce has been our tax preparer for years, we offer the highest recommendation for her services! We were in a 'tax mess' when we first came to her, had been filing our own taxes; but after they became 'more complicated' we had no idea what we were doing. We went reluctantly to a professional tax preparer, but Paula quickly assessed how to work w/ us, and got us updated & clear w/ IRS. She also offered advice on how to better anticipate & prepare for our taxes each year. Her services were invaluable; and her kind, personable, professional manner always puts us at ease. Ten years ago I was new to owning my own business and thought I could handle doing the taxes on my own. I would love to hive her a 5 star review but I must be honest with you and myself. Upon our first meeting, I felt quite comfortable and was put at ease. When it came to get down to the nuts and bolts of my finances, I was slightly confused by the whole situation. I felt as if she pushed me in to the direction that would benefit me the most regardless of the legality which made me question her ethics. Be sure to consult other local CPAs before you sign with her. Good luck!

I was pretty intimidated taking my tax records over to a live person for the first time, I was used to my own little private turbo tax world.. but as my finances got more complicated and I'm trying to start a home business, I felt I had started to have too many questions and could be getting myself into trouble, or not getting a big enough return because of being afraid of getting into trouble.
But seeing Paula was the best decision I could have made and totally worth every penny. And I'm so glad that it was her on the other end of the decision. First of all, she didn't make me feel terrible about my amateur accounting skills. She was supportive, professional, and helpful. Second of all, her abundant experience shined through with her ability to quickly sift through my docs, ask questions to the point, and straighten out my accounting so I can move along feeling confident in my relationship with the IRS. yay :). I can sleep at night now. I feel great about having an expert on my side to help me out and back me up, and at the same time help me keep the most money I can. She also gave me some recommendations on record keeping and other local financial experts who can help with other aspects of my small business. I can't say enough how great it is to have some support as I start up my own business. She has a nice office too ;)... so you can look at the beautiful bay which is awefull calming when you're there with your finance troubles exposed.
