I moved to Sausalito 3 weeks ago. I looked for a beauty salon where I could get a haircut and full foil for my long hair. I called a few places and finally, I decided to move forward with Michelle's of Sausalito.
I love my new haircut and full foil. Ming pays so much attention to the details and she does exactly what you ask for. She is not only an incredible hair artist, but also an amazing human being.
I told her that I was new to Sausalito and wanted to make new friends and if she had any suggestions. Not only she came up with some ideas for me to meet new people, but also she introduced me to her clients who were in her salon while I was there. She is well respected by her clients and I'm so glad that I decided to move forward with Michelle's of Sausalito.

The best foot massage and pedicure in sausalito! And best of all they are moving next week to the space next door with brand new massage chairs in a really nice place! Highly recommend the staff is wonderful!

My husband found this salon while we were staying on our boat in Sausalito and he booked us both for a manicure and pedicure. When we walked in we were greeted by a very nice lady who happened to be the owner. I also needed my hair done and she also does hair! I was so happy! So in 1 hour we had hair and nails done and a wonderful massage on our shoulders! This place is great! Highly recommend and I've been to a lot of salons in my life but this is the best!! We are definitely coming back even though we live out of town!

Not only did I get an ingrown toenail from the manicurist cutting my big toe nails incorrectly, but I realized I also got athletes foot that I am trying to treat. I am in my 70's and have never had athletes foot before. I tried to watch how the tools were being cleaned and didn't see that the tools were actually cleaned. Skin was cut off around my big toes to the point that they bled. I guess that is how I got athletes foot. A cut on the skin for an infection to get started. I also didn't see that they cleaned the foot baths properly. I don't recommend taking a chance getting ingrown toenails and athletes foot. So far I have had to buy all kinds of products to take care of the problems and may have to go to a podiatrist if the athletes foot doesn't go away. Also still working on fixing the ingrown toenail with different products. I sure wish I could have back the large tip I left, to help pay for the products I needed to try to fix the ingrown toenail and athletes foot. I have lived in Sausalito for 23 years and this never happened before. I leave good reviews for the businesses in town that deserve them.

Great service and very friendly staff. My friend and I got gel manicures here, and hot stone neck massages were included for free! We felt so relaxed and taken care of - I'd highly recommend!

Hot my hair done here for my mini-wedding. She did an amazing job! I had my trial only 1 day in advance. They were helpful and accommodating to my schedule. They were able to utilize my hair pins beautifully and gave my mom instructions on how to put in/take out the veil. I hope others will utilize them for their hair services!

I had an incredible experience at this salon today! I am in Sausalito for my wedding on Saturday and needed to fix a manicure I received from a different salon the day prior. The previous gel manicure was terribly done, rushed and visually unappealing. My mom called up this salon and they took us in immediately! I have never had a manicure done so thoroughly! They took their time and redid every imperfection. They understood the importance of having perfect nails for the big day and I'm so appreciative of that. My mom also got a manicure and a hair cut, which was beautifully done as well! The entire staff was hilarious and pleasant :) I am just so impressed with their service and if I lived in the area I'd become a regular for sure!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't go here. The woman screwed up my boyfriend's hair in 5 min, then said that she didn't have time to fix it after complaining. She shouldn't have agreed to take him to begin with if she didn't have the time to do a decent job. Also noticed that she happened to be VERY nice to all her white clientele, but she was very rude to him, an Asian man. This place sucks if you're Asian I guess.
