“Hands down, Gamescape is one of the best board game stores I’ve found! During my travels, I always make it a point to visit board game stores as part of my itinerary and I never fail to grab a game or two. In Gamescape, I left with FOUR (only because of my luggage limitations)The store has a very large collection - they sell well known classics to recent additions. And to top it off, their staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful too. A strong recommendation to anyone within the vicinity who is interested in this hobby!”
“It was my first time there so I didn’t know where anything was, but the workers helped me just fine. They have way more in store than they do online. Everything is organized and neat and I would recommend coming here for any art supplies you need.”

900 Andersen Dr, San Rafael“I went in looking for a simple, but sturdy plastic board to support the end of a cage that was an inch longer than the end of the counter. Sam made sure I chose the right kind of plastic (I didn't know there was even a difference) to survive what this board would be exposed to (bleach, cleansers). Well, the board is perfect and thank you, Sam, for suggesting one corner be rounded. I could not think of anything I would have done differently. It's perfect.”
“i would give this 100 stars if i could. There's a new game that's super popular that has been going nuts. All the game stores around Norcal have banded together to gouge the community and rob players of a chance for affordable materials. This gem of a store has made it very clear they are a pillar for this community and they are for the PLAYERS. It's something the other LGS' don't understand because when you treat people as people and not a money printer it builds your brand and trust. you are not a metric to gamescape, youre a friend, family, person, and will be seen. save this lgs at all costs. thank you, 100% will be back!!!!”
“Wanted to leave positive feedback here for Marcus although everyone I’ve interacted with at the shop is great! Marcus went well out of his way to teach my daughter how to play Pokémon so we could participate in an upcoming event. He is an incredible teacher, patient, and genuinely passionate about TCG.I’ve been a dreadnought member (highest tier membership) for 6 months and even tho I’ve yet to play a game of MTG on premises… I feel like I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth in discount of booster boxes and customer service. I highly recommend supporting this small business and it’s truly awesome to see what they do for the community. Cheers and ty for having us!”

“Ying Hobbies & Toys it's the hidden gem you never knew you needed! My wife stumbled upon this treasure while on a quest for Gunpla goodness, and boy, am I glad she did. Tucked away in a cozy spot, Ying Hobbies & Toys might play hard to get at first, but once you lay eyes on its bounty of plastic wonders, you'll be hooked. The store might be small, but it's bursting at the seams with an array of model kits that'll make any Gundam fan's heart skip a beat. Seriously, choosing just one model feels like trying to pick a favorite child - impossible and bound to hurt someone's feelings. But fear not, the guy running the place is pretty helpful. With his guidance, navigating through the sea of model kits becomes a breeze! Oh and the pricing is super fair specially for all the cool stuff you can find. So, if you're a Gundam enthusiast or just someone who appreciates the art of model kits, do yourself a favor and pay Ying Hobbies & Toys a visit. Trust me, it'll quickly become your go-to spot for all things Gunpla. Happy building, fellow plastic yelp warriors!”
“My dad dropped a five dollar bill and a worker named Athena kindly came out to us as we were getting in our car. Friendly and and I like the outgoing attitude. Give her employee of the month.”

154 S Van Ness Ave, San Francisco“Everyone is super nice and knowledgeable here, and the prices are so reasonable! I'm super shy but everyone here put me at ease. I was looking to create a fish tank cover with cutouts for my filter etc and Junior turned out also to be an aquarium enthusiast! I didn't come in with questions, but he educated me on the thickness of the acrylic meant to go under LED lights and heated water, whether or not it'll bow over time, how much light will pass through to my plants, and so on! He's so nice and patient, and made sure that my cover was the perfect dimensions. The cutouts are an additional $5 for each in addition to the price of the rectangular acrylic and the entire custom piece came out much cheaper than the pet shop.In addition, Edgar and one other person (sorry, I forgot his name!) helped answer questions about other pieces in the store and their customization. The plastic containers = food safe, great for use as travel bottles, and basically wholesale price--how could you beat that?”
“Cute and friendly cat! The cashier was nice overall! Had a situation with miscommunication on pricing, and when confronted, the owner was respectful and apologetic. To the business: I appreciate the apology, I see it was an honest mistake. Go support them and meet the friendly cat!”

“Super7 has become one of my absolute FAVORITE purveyors of plastic goodness within recent years. The Supersize and Ultimates lines especially have won my business forever!”
“There is nobody like Bobby and he is kind and patient. If you want uniqueness , no hard sell, and genuine passion to witness a young man who loves what he does and is doing what he loves, come here. I drove here from San Francisco and have never seen the depth, breadth and range -- you can see it, touch it and feel it. He comes from a family of collectors, so it's part of his foundation and clearly, how he operates.”
“Great little shop if you're into model building. I was able to find the Tamaya spray paint for my model. The owner was gracious enough to stay open for a little bit so I can come by and pick it up. Support your local business. Thank you!”
“I ordered the #PS509 Flight Attendant 3-D Wood Sign with a lower personalization plate for my sister-in-law last month. She is now a retired Purser for a major US airline, and that plaque was just perfect for her retirement party. At first, the sign was showing not available on their website. A quick call to Nancy there at Tailwinds solved that problem (computer glitch), and the follow-on ordering was super easy! A few days later, Nancy called me back and said that the manufacturer suggested a slightly different formatting of the lower personalization plate (where the airline name and dates of service are printed.) I accepted that slight tweak, and in just a few days, the completed plaque was sent directly to my brother (so he could wrap it up for the pending party.) My sister-in-law LOVES the plaque, and it is now proudly displayed in her home office (along with all of my brother's USMC plaques from the '80s.) In fact, all of her fellow flight attendants just had to know where she got that sign from, so I quickly provided them a link to the Tailwinds.com website. Just some great products and excellent customer service! Thanks, Tailwinds, and Nancy!”
“You can find a bunch of great figurines, board games, etc. They have a variety of brands like Bandai, Good Smile Company, etc. Yup, nendoroids! The best shop in Japantown for figurines and authentic.”
“I have yet to visit. But a friend recommended it and has only good things to say.I will be going by in the next few days and hope things are as good as described.”
“Great place to find all your tcg needs. They have a wide selection of funkos, Pokémon, one piece and sports cards. Staff is always friendly and a pleasure to interact with. Highly recommend checking them out.”
“I came into sell some coins I inherited from my grandmother. I didn't know too much about them and wasn't sure if I wanted to sell them. I dealt with Bob who was pleasant and patiently answered my questions. I ended up selling them because I felt he offered a fair price.”

“A fantastic toy store for kids of all ages! Average pricing. This shop is crammed with products, offering all sorts of toys, games, books, accessories, postcards and gifts. I especially love the selection of books about Sausalito and SF that were right at the front of the store.”
