“I shipped my foreign passport for renewal yesterday. The staff was really friendly, conversational and professional. Minutes after I shipped my envelope, I realized my shipping address was wrong and hurried back, and they were able to retrieve the unshipped envelope (just before loading it to the truck!) and change the shipping address for me without additional charge. I'm really grateful!”
“Tony was amazing. Warm, pleasant and efficient. Went for passport services. Probably one of the best experiences at usps. I agree with another comment that Tony is the GOAT of post office workers.”

“We came here to apply for a new passport for our toddler. Walk-in service was such as breeze. We were able to make an appointment onsite, our application was handled promptly and with good service. Thank you so much Francine! We tried walk-in because it was hard to make appointment online. Please double check their passport hours.”
“Ample parking and short line on a weekday afternoon. The staff is very friendly and super helpful. Best customer service I've ever experienced in USPS offices.”
“The people that work here can be brusque but they're always very capable and know exactly what you need. Efficiency is just what I want from the post office.”
“This is one of the main locations in San Jose and they’re most definitely a one stop shop. There’s a bunch of booths for fast service (just don’t show up right before closing) and they stay open later than most other USPS. They have a Dropbox for packages and mail during after hours. Lastly there’s a Passport Office located on the side of the building, just be aware of some potential homeless people with RVs. Not trying to bash them I’ve never had a bad encounter but just a heads up!”

200 S Third St, San Jose“A small convenient post office if you're a student, the man behind the counter is always very nice and helpful. It seems they only have one person staffed here, but if you need to drop something off quick or pick up stamps it's a great spot.”

221 Main St, Los Altos“I have been using this post office for as long as it has been there and have found the staff to be mostly helpful, courteous, and friendly. Sometimes I have to wait 10 minutes give or take.”

545 Meridian Ave Suite D, San Jose“I left my important document folder on the middle island and thanks Mei for collecting it up and keep it in a safe place, and also let me pick it up even after office hour. I really appreciate that.”
“Eh I guess I agree sometimes they make you wait a little too long but overall decent service and cute location with a nearby bus stop so it's the most convenient for me ever since they took away my local blue box ?. I just wish there were more blue collection boxes that accept small packages and not just envelopes near Lawrence station. It's really unfortunate they took away the ability to drop off packages since we don't really have any other blue box nearby for those of us without cars. If anyone sees this from the USPS I would love to get in contact with the postmaster to see if we could get a new collection box that accepts packages ”
“Came here to mail something across the country. The post office is tucked away in building 6 and you have to enter through a back entrance. Luckily I had asked another employee where to go and gave me a tip that it was in a building that looked like it wasn't open (haha). Once I was in the building, the signs were super helpful. The post office itself was small but it had everything you needed. The woman working there, Thu, was super helpful and even helped me figure out what box to use in order to save the most money. She even helped me with packaging too. Overall great service and I'm glad I am close to here for any mailing needs. Avoids the usual long lines for sure. FYI: there are no self kiosks so you will need to wait. However, it doesn't seem like a very busy office to begin with.”
“Big location for PO Boxes. Right beside Costco for some shipping and then shopping, lol. Has limited parking onsite, but more parking available nearby. Wheelchair accessible. Staff is very helpful and quick. One stop for all your shopping needs”
“Went in for a passport appointment (including photograph) for our 3 months old. I wanted to drop in a note for how patient and smooth the process was. The USPS clerk was patient with our baby for the photo taking process, in fact she recommended we feed via bottle her for a while as the baby got cranky. She patiently waited and clicked a couple of photos and asked us for the best one for the passport. Tips for new parents - 1) Fill your form online via “form filler” and print it out for minimal hassle with the baby at location. 2) Bring a blank personal check to pay US dept of state (which is separate from USPS fees). 3) Get 2x birth certificates from your county office as USPS keeps one for sometime. 4) Make the baby wear dark clothes that will stand out on a white background.”

21701 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino“This is part for Nancy- who helped me with passport for my son. I had even forgotten some documents and she accommodated me and allowed me to come back making this a very easy process for this scrambled mom.
Many many thanks Nancy- people like you are hard to find”
“Had the most wonderful experience despite my expectations! Our carrier recently started holding our mail because our box was not level. Totally understand!!!! I was finally able to make it in to let them know our boxed was fixed and was greeted by the most kind face and was able to quickly collect my accumulated mail and restart our service. Thank you!!!”
“I’d definitely have given more stars to this location Ms. Wanda went above and beyond to look for my package and she did even call me when she found out the shipment we need more people like her I really like the service at this location”
“Passport walk-in works differently here.
A signup sheet is placed on a table inside at 6AM. Once it’s full (4-5 names), they pull the sheet. This can happen quickly, and if you don’t notice the explanation taped to the table across from the passport door, you won’t know (and will wait for nothing).
You must already have all applications filled and printed, documents and supporting items ready to go, they will not see anyone who arrives looking to fill it out in person.”
“Great service by Sonia! I had a little confusion over a package hold at this usps location due to custom fees. The package was in the process of being shipped back because I was late to pick it up. Sonia helped me with the whole process and she called me twice to confirm some details. I really appreciate the great service. It's almost I like to see a great service like this nowadays. Thank you so much again!”
“I visit this location so many times, Rajni is amazingly professional, helpful and lovely lady. Also the lady who work at the passport section is very positive, helpful and professional. I recommend this place”

211 Hope St, Mountain View“I feel very fortunate to have encountered such friendly staff at this post office.
When I was applying for my child's passport, Vo assisted us. She noticed that the photo size wasn't correct and informed us that if we could bring the correct-sized photo back the same afternoon, she could help us submit the application without needing to reschedule another appointment. Thanks to her, we were able to submit our application smoothly and receive the passport.
Recently, I didn't receive a letter that my family sent, so I filled out a form on the postal system to inquire about it. Tran responded efficiently and found out that the letter was at this post office. When I went to pick it up the next day, the staff couldn't find it. I emailed Tran again, and she promptly looked for it and called me back to confirm it was indeed at the post office. When I returned, I was able to find it! Thanks to Tran's proactive and friendly assistance, I was able to retrieve this important letter, and my family and I are very grateful to her!”
“After dealing with a frustrating and unresolved issue with my apartment’s mail lock box for over seven months, my experience at the St. James USPS office finally took a turn for the better thanks to an employee named Kennedy. Prior to her help, my visits every two weeks and repeated submissions of the key replacement order seemed futile, especially given the high turnover and retirements at this location.
However, Kennedy, who was brought in from another station, quickly demonstrated her commitment to resolving customer issues. She took on my case with a proactive attitude, resubmitting the work order three times herself and even involving the station manager to ensure the problem was finally fixed. Her dedication and persistence were truly commendable.
While the process was more drawn-out than it should have been, I am grateful for employees like Kennedy who go above and beyond to rectify issues. Her exceptional service has restored my faith in the capabilities of the USPS staff at the St. James office. Thank you, Kennedy, for your outstanding assistance!”

4601 Lafayette St, Santa Clara“We came here to mail passports for several times. The staff are so helpful and professional! They took care of all the details pretty well! They are willing to help and answer all questions. Great people!”
“Before we moved to Saratoga, we had been used to coming a long way to this location for shipping service not just because it’s a place easy for parking but because the clerks are very warm and helpful. Yesterday I was particularly impressed by the speedy service offered by Clerk 15, a smart guy who helped me as soon as he saw me walk in. I had hardly got to ask him where to drop off a return parcel before he scanned the barcode, handed me a receipt and showed me how to track it. He was so adept at handling the item I went away without getting time to ask his name.”
