“Im gonna start off this review by saying that I went to 3 DIFFERENT places, they were all “skips tire and automotive” and all three of those businesses were absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in customer service. The counter employees were so rude, they wouldn’t help with any of my immediate problems. They just wanted me to reschedule and they would answer then. So finally I leave and as I’m driving home I see this drive thru spot that’s completely empty. So I pull up and immediately the gentleman asked “what he could do for me today” then proceeded to ask if I’d like a soda or beverage while I wait in my car(that was an amazing touch btw) then proceeded to tell me information about my oil/car I was not aware of! Just genuinely letting me know the issues and concerns I might have to deal with in the future. No up-selling, no B.S, just genuine customer CARE! I recommend this place to anyone who cares about customer service and getting your car done in a timely fashion! 10/10”

“This Car Shop is very good. I came here in my Acura rsx many times with nothing but good results. I got a transmission fluid change, got a brand new AC compressor put in, And now a brand new intake mantifold in. Time table is 1-5 days for work to be done but the results balance out, for how busy they get, the results are awesome. Suhki is a very nice and well understanding man and helps with any occasion. If you need car care I would go here 7 days of the week”

“I took my car in for an oil change and transmission flush - and saw that the front wheel fork was in bad shape when they hoisted the car up.Al gave me a very fair estimate for the car, and a loaner for the duration of the repair.
Then, while putting the parts in, they noticed that two of the bolts were stripped, and they had to order new bolts from Mercedes. This took an additional 2 days, and added only around 80$ to the repair. Al let me keep the loaner car till my repairs were done!
I know from experience that nobody else would keep a car back for 2 days for an extra 80$ in repairs - these are some of the most professional people I have seen. I will definitely be bringing my car here again.”
“Despite my considerable efforts to find a reasonably priced, ethical and knowledgeable mechanic in my area (Santa Cruz county) I came up short. After experiencing several considerable top-notch repair jobs at high tech automotive, I consider it no inconvenience at all to take my car there exclusively. “Great service! Signed me in right away. Said would inform me of diagnosis either by end of the day or next morning. Next morning was informed of estimate to fix and picked up car later that afternoon. With my AAA discount the bill was reasonable.”
“I have been going to Tim for over ten years. There are not enough good things I can say about him. He has worked on everything I have brought to him and I recommend him to everyone looking for a great mechanic.
Tim is one of those rare mechanics that wants to help you, not fleece you. He is not the cheapest mechanic in town, nor an expensive dealership. He is somewhere in between. He uses OEM parts so don’t bring your own, it’s a warranty issue and he wont install them. Best of all he won’t up sell you on unneeded maintenance. If he does find an issue with your car beyond the scope of the repair while he’s working on it, he will call you let you know what he found, how much time he thinks you have, and let you make an informed decision.
My one key advice to anyone going to see him, be honest about what is going on with your car and previous work people that have worked on it. One way or another he will figure it out. He can figure the problem out a lot faster if he knows the history of the vehicle.
Tim is usually swamped mainly due to his popularity, call him in advance and arrange an appointment and be ready to leave your car there and not wait for it unless he says its ok in advance. He is a great mechanic, not a magician.
If you take a car to a cheap mechanic, you usually get what you pay for. If you take your car to Tim you will be happier in the long term.
Tim cares about his customers and when you find a mechanic this good, he eventually becomes a trusted member of your family.”

“This is hands down the best auto shop around. I won't take my cars anywhere else. If you have a Toyota or Honda this is the place. Staff recommends services and lets you know how long you can postpone them if any. No upselling on stuff you don't need. I work on cars myself, but when I don't have the time/equipment/know how, this is where they go.”

“I do not live in the area anymore but my wife and I were visiting our grandkids and I noticed that my daughters tires were in bad shape, later that evening I searched for a tire shop near my daughters home, with good reviews, so when we returned home I called American tire depot and spoke with Freddy and I asked him if I could schedule a time for my daughter to come in but I wanted to prepay for new tires and an alignment, Freddy took it from there set it all up, I thought it might be difficult but fairly easy, he said he would not be in that weekend but Brandon would be in and he would relay all information to him, when my daughter got there Brandon gave me a call to let my know what was going on and he called me to let me know they were finished

“Ended up having a flat tire. I went from talking to Ernest and then David on the day that I was able to come in to get it replaced. Between verifying that they had my tire in stock and getting me in at short notice since they had a moment to get the job done. I know that is not normal because they are a busy location. Thus I recommend making an appointment. But overall great service.”
