When I arrived, I asked about using Groupon to pay and how it worked? Instead of using the app, they said they would honor the same price. Which they did but didn't use the product that I wanted.
I picked the color and they used a similar color close to the one I wanted.
Groupon was for dip gel and they used gel nail polish.
Then, they were talking in their language (I didn't understand) and another woman had come to fix whatever the original woman was doing wrong. They wouldn't tell me what was wrong.
Within a few days one of my nails was chipping.
I went back and they fixed the chipping but I feel their is a HUGE language barrier here and because of that I won't be back.

This was my first time going to this boutique but super clean and sweet salon: only wish I could have discovered this gem near downtown Saratoga earlier! Ivy did my gel pedicure with the hot stone foot massage. She was so gentle, patient and detailing. She took time listening and making sure the pedicure turned out to be what I expected. She also noticed that my fresh orange water cup was empty and immediately refilled it for me. The salon is on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Rd, right before the traffic light to downtown Saratoga. Within the small plaza there is a big parking lot. Highly recommend this local business to everyone.

This was my first time at Nothing But Nails and the service was exceptional. Ivy did a great job with my pedicure by taking her time and making sure I loved it. Mindy is an absolute sweetheart and guided me through different types of manicures she offers and helped me choose the best fit. She also took her time, and made me feel welcomed and comfortable. If you're thinking about trying Nothing But Nails, please do! It's an amazing place with amazing service.

First time here and it was an amazing experience. Mindy and Ivy were very professional, friendly, and thorough! I absolutely love the way my mani/pedi turned out (tried a new type of gel on my nails and I highly recommend). Definitely will be back!

Wanted to try a new nail spot and saw there was a Groupon for this spot. Asked for the dip powder manicure as advertised. Was confused by the whole process. They dipped my fingers in a white powder, but then proceeded to do a gel manicure with uv light. When I asked about it, they insisted that's what their version of dip is. The polish is peeling off after just two days from the bases and the cuticle clean up was sloppy ( see photo attached).

Minh was great! I was able to get an appointment within 30 minutes. Perfect nails for St Patricks Day and Easter!

I wanted to share my wonderful experience after going here for the first time. To begin, this location is right on the outskirts of downtown Saratoga, situated next to a beautiful creek. There is substantial parking availability, too. I found this place on Groupon, however the business told me that they would honor the price if I purchased directly through them - and they did! The service was fabulous, and I have never seen so many nail color options in my life. This is one of the best manicures (gel) I have ever received, which I am so grateful for, as I tried this place for the first time to get my nails done for a Wedding I am in. I highly recommend this place. It is extremely affordable, great quality, and the staff are very friendly. I will absolutely be back, despite living in Mountain View. This will definitely be my new go-to place.

In an adventurous quest for the perfect set of nails, I stumbled upon a Groupon for dip nails at Nothing But Nails and, recalling a past visit, I enthusiastically dialed them up. My heart set on a dual delight of a manicure and pedicure, I was booked for a 5:00 PM pampering session. Upon my grand entrance, the pedicure commenced. I opted for the luxurious $50 package, enticed by the promise of a 15-minute massage and a sparkling glass of champagne. However, as the pedicure concluded, I found myself perplexed, massage-shortened by five minutes and, most tragically, champagne-less. When I questioned the discrepancy, the owner's response was a comedy of errors: apparently, my massage was a teetotaler's special. Despite my protest and the clear evidence on the menu, I was met with a baffling inquiry, "Why didn't you ask for the champagne?" It seems I had unknowingly stepped into a salon where one must channel their inner sommelier to receive what was already promised. As the clock ticked, my 5:00 PM appointment morphed into an extended salon saga, as the owner juggled me between two other clients, turning my scheduled relaxation into a test of patience. But wait, there's more! The plot thickened with a twist in the tale of the dip nails. In a surprising turn of events, my anticipated dip manicure transformed into a gel manicure-- a chameleon act unbeknownst to me until the peeling began days later, a far cry from the three-week durability promised by the Groupon. In this nail salon narrative, the moral of the story is one of caution: Beware of false advertising and a disregard for the sanctity of appointments. A plea for transparency echoes through this tale-- a simple request for honesty and respect for one's time and expectations. Alas, no apologies were offered, nor were there any gestures of goodwill to amend the service discrepancies. Though my nails bore a semblance of elegance, the service left much to be desired. A word to the wise: vigilance is key, ensure the service you pay for is not just a mirage in the desert of nail care.

I have been a customer at Nothing But Nails for many years. It is always friendly and professional. Mindy does an amazing job. She recommends new products to try (which are quality products), new colors and styles. She listens and respects to what you want. All the staff will greet you, offer you water, coffee or tea. They too are attentive to your needs. The place is always clean. I love "my time" in a place that treats me well, respectfully and professionally. I walk out of there feeling happy. Plus- my nails look wonderful!

I really like supporting local businesses as I live in Saratoga but I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you have an appointment even though they accept `walk ins`. I came to Day dream salon thats right below this nail salon and had just gotten my hair done. I saw this place and figured to get my nails done since its my birthday this weekend. I walked in today at 6:15pm and the lady had locked the doors even though it said on their front door that they are open till 7pm. She walked back and forth and then told me to come tomorrow without even opening the door. I wont be coming here again, very poor customer service.

This is a really nice little nail salon. Nobody hurt my feet, but they were fast and did a great Mani-Pedi!

So many reasons to say this place is terrible. I think if you live nearby or you tell them that you live nearby, they might give you different service, but if they think you were only coming once or twice forget it. Before coming I called and confirmed time I could come and that I had a Groupon and it was OK to use. However, everything was terrible and they tried to not honor the Groupon, (which the exact same wording of their Groupon was literally on a huge poster on the wall behind the owner’s head) as she was saying that it wasn’t applicable. When she couldn’t deny the 2‘ x 3‘ poster behind her head, she did agree to accept the Groupon but before that she wanted me to cancel my Groupon and give her more money than what I had already paid. plus a terrible job on each of the three different services I got. With how much nail services now cost, plus pricey tipping plus, random bad service- really what are they thinking?
Of course, there is the scam of oh our credit card reader isn’t working so we can only take cash or Venmo.

It was super unhygienic. It was weird. I’ve been plenty of nail salons where somebody there is eating and they have food but a whole half eaten chicken sitting at the end of the massage/waxing table next to my feet left there while I’m getting eye brow wax is way too weird. Service was bad too. Nails were terrible- they tried to get me to return my nail Groupon which was $35 and instead pay them $45 for the same thing. No. Other problems as well. Spent $150 in feet, nails, waxing and tips. I guess they think it’s ok to screw over a customer who just spent 150$ in 1.5 hours. Won’t return.Service: Acrylic nails
