“IMHO I love visiting the Butter Paddle anytime I'm in downtown Los Gatos. I think all the ladies who work there are volunteers and are very welcoming and gracious to all visitors! This is a wonderful gift shop featuring beautiful glassware, home decor, stationery, children's toys and clothing, jewelry, some food items, purses, scarves, women's clothing, and seasonal items. “After going to a number of places to look for a fountain, I came across Pottery Planet in Los Gatos. Compared to the other 4 places I visited, they had the largest and nicest selection of fountains at competitive prices. I purchased three basalt stone column fountains and was blown away by their customer service. They were extremely easy to work with, handled a problem we had with a professional and positive attitude. Everyone we encountered at Pottery Planet was so accommodating, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly, highly recommend this company if you are looking for an outdoor fountain or pottery. Great selection and outstanding service!”

While we were not expecting it to be a garage, don't let the setting fool you, Barry is very knowledgeable and has a multitude of catalogues for you to look at and choose from. We were able to customize every aspect of the sectional we wanted to purchase and there was no pressure to pick and choose quickly. “Such a cute wacky little place! My friend and I hung out there in November. So many unique items. Cards, jewelry, clock gears, cursed baby planters, doll limbs, old recipe books, and more! The people were nice. They gave me a cute little bag for my items. I spent so long deciding which cards to get because there were so many pretty vintage ones. I need to go back.”

“I was moving out of the area and I had 20 years worth of antique items that I loved but could not take with me. I met Carol at the Alameda Antique Fair and later visited her store to see if I could consign my collection. This was in 2019. Over the years, I've received several consignment checks for items she's sold for me. Today, February 6, 2023, I received another check. I am amazed at Carol's honesty. She told me when I left my things with her that she would pay me my share no matter how long it took to sell them and she is true to her word. I think anyone else would not have done so. Hats off to Carol and her wonderful store. She's my hero!”

“I have been to a lot of nurseries and plant shops but Leafy by far has the biggest selection of Houseplants I have seen to date. I also find it interesting how it is located inside a shopping mall.The shop itself is aesthetically pleasing and offer not only a wide variety of plants but accessories to compliment them. I was able to take home 2 plants and the employee was kind enough to wrap them for me.The reason I can't give it a 5/5 is because some of the plants looked overwatered to me or not in the best condition. Not sure if this is because its in such a high traffic area or they got damaged in shipping, etc. I also saw a few gnats flying around so it worries me if some of the plants have bugs or will be prone to be infected by bugs, making me think they might not last long. They also had a variety of rare houseplants but they were extremely overpriced. I'm talking 200+ for a Thai constellation....again since they're in a shopping mall then I guess it makes sense to price everything higher due to the space they have to rent out but definitely don't think it's worth that much now a days. If you want a rare houseplant, I think you'll get a better price somewhere else.”

“Cover Story was a small boutique we had passed while looking for patisseries in the area! What caught our eyes were the gorgeous Halloween storefront displays, and how stunning each product was! Everything was placed by someone who has a great eye for detail, making it hard to not want to stare at almost every corner of the shop. We mostly stayed near the dishes and framing selection since my friend wanted to see their tea sets and I've been on the hunt for more frames! Although we ended up not buying anything (due to going to a picnic almost immediately after) we found so many gorgeous trinkets and ideas for the future! Had we not stopped by, we wouldn't have met the sweet staff working or found such a gem of a shop. I'm so excited to see their Christmas/Holiday displays coming up soon since I had noticed a few Christmas pieces appearing toward the back of the store. It reminds me a lot of Pier 1 Imports with its unique, upscale, product selection and how everything has a bit of character to it as well. Aside from kitchenware, they sell sweaters, blankets, bears, jewelry, and much more! Our time crunch ended our trip early, but it won't be the last time I'll be here - the shop is a delight!”

“My wife and i were searching for a new bed and decided to try Sleep Number, even though we had heard mixed reviews. Dave greeted us when we entered the store and we told him we were just educating ourselves about different beds. Dave had us lay down on a demo bed and found both of our sleep numbers. He then had us try some of the other beds in order to find one that was good for us. We ended up purchasing a bed from Dave. He was very knowledgeable and called us numerous times after we received our bed to see if we had any questions or issues. Dave was great and i would definitely recommend him.”

“We did a group pottery class at the studio for a group of 10. We all had fun making our own bowls and learning a bit about throwing. The setup was pretty great to accommodate our group size very easily. We got instructions about the steps to make our bowl and a demo, but I along with others definitely found it hard to keep up. We needed a lot of individual help. I wish there was an assistant who could walk around and help us too. The studio glazed and painted the bowls to a color we liked. They looked great! I only wish we were able to be more hands on in the process and perhaps make two items as the process is quite hard if you're new and it would have been fun to take another stab at it.”
